Their pies are very good , the service is okay , it is a hit or miss , it's a cute little spot to have slice a pie in it's just when we went there the first time the forks were dirty in the drawer , and the second time we went we wanted milk and the milk was spoiled they didn't sale us the milk of course but unfortunate that he looked in the fridge and only had expired milk.
Just okay. I ordered the apple pie and it was fine but nowhere near the best pie I've had, and I wouldn't get it again. It was overly sweet and uninteresting- despite the fun name. The crust was bland and the topping was hard. The packaging is really cute- but in my experience, that was the best thing about it. The service was just okay, the pie was just okay and I wouldn't say this is worth a trip.

It's $8 per slice plus tax, and the slice is decent (would call it a "normal" serving). It comes packaged really cute in a little cardboard boat box with a tie. The pie was pretty good, can't say it's the best I've ever had but it was pretty good! They served me super quick too, and had lots of seating inside the converted house where this is. Love the location right in the heart of the bishop arts district too, it's a great add on dessert or snack like after dinner. Overall would def give it a rec!
I walked past this place on a stroll and I love pie my favorite is blue berry pie but not many places make them. I prefer pie over cake but hey I had the bourbon pecan pie I bought only a slice since I'm the only one who will eat it. I must say the presentation is very cute. The price per slice is pricey but it's all in ingredients and the cutesy of it all. Definitely yummy and can't wait to be back once they get a blueberry pie.

I am glad I did decide to stop by on my long weekend trip to Dallas. The shop is so cute and service was good. I was a little bummed they were sold out of the key lime pie as that's my go to but I settled for the smooth operator which wasn't settling at all. It was so delicious - perfect balance between rich chocolate and a little salty. It was smooth AF and definitely lived up to its name. The portion size was a little small considering its TX but it's probably for the best. I would 100% recommend.
Emporium Pies is one of the most subpar, overpriced chains in Dallas. Genuinely I can't recommend any other place enough! First off, the pies are ridiculously dry. They are not warmed or anything - especially in winter months, that's what you'd want. I got the blueberry pie, which claimed to be a mix between a pie and muffin. In reality, it was a dry, almost cheesecake-like miniature piece of "pie", if you could even call it that. The top was burnt as well. The actual place was cramped and small. Service was not friendly at all, they just stand and look at you until you order - no hellos or any actual conversation. At $8, which is jarring in itself, we should not be prompted to tip 20%+ for...cutting the pie and putting it in a bag? Save your money, there are a bunch of other awesome dessert places in Bishop Arts.
Second time at Bishop Arts District. Second time popping my head inside Emporium pies, a cozy pie shop located in an old A framed house. This time we tried- the smooth operator: French silk chocolate with a salted pretzel crust oh my. It was delicious. Also, an option is to take your pie and blend it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. WTH. I can't say that sounds good but it does seem unique. 5/5 for taste and novelty.

Oh, and maybe you'd like a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top? Sure--they'll give you a kid-sized single-serving size of ice cream on the side. Oh, you were hoping for a hot slice of pie with hand-scooped vanilla? As if! All jest aside: $12 for a cold slice of ice and cardboard cylinder of ice cream? What a joke.
What a cute pie shop! All the ladies serving the pie were so nice and the pie options were amazing no wonder they were sold out of so many when I went. I ended up getting the bourbon pecan pie and while it was very sweet it was also one of the best tasting pecan pies I've ever had. It's located right in the middle of Bishop Arts which is such a cute neighborhood to walk around and enjoy some pie. I hope to come back someday and try their other pies! 10/10 would recommend
It's a really cute shop! The classic Apple pie is also really delicious. The presentation is nice. The quantity is large. The quality is good. The apple is just sweet enough with a little bitterness and tartness that gives it dimensions in every bite. I really like it! For $9 it is really huge and good for sharing.
Emporium pies is such a vibe! With its different locations in the Dallas metro you can always get a sweet treat! Their pie shop was a whole experience. The staff was helpful but it seemed like they had had a long day customer service wise. Their drunken pie was good, the crust was fire! I need to go back to try the smooth operator. You might want to call ahead to check if they have your go to slice cause they don't get every pie every day! read more

A girl can pray that one day Emporium will open a location next door. But for now I will happily trek down to Bishop Arts for these pies. Unreal how good they are, always a fan of the coffee chocolate one! read more
A cute setting for a pie shop. Their presentation is nice the way they tie up your pie in a to go holder. I had the blue steel blueberry pie. The pie is good but definitely not the best. Would also be nice if the pies were warmed but they aren't. read more

Bonnie and Pie'd is hands down the best, followed by Smooth Operator. The other two pies were average. Customer service was good. The dining area is small. Parking is limited, so it is best to park a couple of blocks away. read more

We have been ordering pies from here for years. To be honest, their pies are so amazing that I stopped making mine altogether! They're always so nice and attentive when you're there to pick up a slice to go. Their holiday pie pre-order system is second to none. Such an easy breezy in and out. The interior of their Bishop Arts location gives a welcoming home-vibe. However, it is always bustling any time we've arrived. My favorites are: Lord of the Pies, The Drunken Nut, Key Lime, and Dr Love - which happens to be my ultimate favorite. read more

So disappointed. Feels like the quality is definitely deteriorating for Emporium. Slices are smaller for the $8 and don't taste nearly as good as they used to. My husband loves the pumpkin pie during this season every year for a few years now. We got it on Friday and he was severely disappointed. Didn't taste the same. I had the Bonnie + pie'd. Supposed to be a delicious pie with layers of chocolate, toffee, and whip cream. Compare the pics I posted. One is the pic from their website and the other is the whip cream pie I paid $8 for. There was maybe a drop of toffee when I got to the end of the pie. It definitely wasn't a layer. The chocolate tasted like a Jello pudding cup. The huge layer of whip cream tasted like it sat in a fridge uncovered overnight and had a weird old flavor. We won't be wasting money on these ever again. read more

Drop Dead Gorgeous is back and I'm too excited. I'm a proclaimed sweet potato pie eater the other orange pie. I've always hated pumpkin pie ALWAYS. But I had this one last year because of the gingerbread crust. It's not wet like others and you can really taste the spices. I just wish it was around that the fall. read more

This pie shop is so cute it's an old house with a porch smack down in the middle of Bishop Arts district!!! As for the pie you really have to love pie because it's so decadent it can be a little too much. I couldn't finish more than half of my blueberry pie but it was so creamy and delicious I don't regret any bite!! I honestly would come again and again but would get a black coffee on the side hehe Highly recommend this pie shop when looking for dessert in the Bishop Arts District!!! read more
Strolling through the very cool and hip Bishop arts district in Dallas, our son took us to this pie place. A converted little house into a business is part of the charm in this eclectic artsy district, this place is quaintly decorated. A line told me it would be good and I was not disappointed. We had three different pies which are this places version of a banana cream pie, pecan pie and a butterscotch/ caramel pie which were all fantastic. The whip cream was amazing and you can buy it just by itself but that was sold out. Very clean, great service and each pie carefully and elegantly packaged like a little gift of pie heaven for you to enjoy. Delicious break in this very festive district with live musicians, shops and restaurants. read more

Solid pies! A bit pricey for the small slice ($8) but the pie I had was good. They have a small sitting area inside with a few more spots outside. Service was quick and friendly. The presentation of the pie was adorable and looked like a sweet present! read more

Let me start with the positive, THE PIE HERE IS AWESOME!! That's without a doubt. There were quite a few options to try and if my stomach was big enough I would've gotten them all because they looked delicious. I will say the pie was served cold, which is fine but I wish there was maybe an option to at least get it warmed or serve it warm. I would say my biggest qualm is that the wait was pretty ridiculous. It took maybe 15-20 minutes just to order and there were only two people in front of me. And then had to wait another few minutes to get the pie. The wait is not a deal-breaker for me, just more of a bummer. Regardless of the downsides, I'll definitely be back and I strongly encourage others to give it a try if you're ever in the Bishop Arts area!! read more

Service was lacking on the day I stopped in, the cashier was just not focused, the pie had an incorrect label, causing us to order 3 slices of Bonnie and Pie'd instead of the Bunny titled pie. We loved our pie, but we were expecting the carrot cake, pecan, cream cheese flavors and instead we were met with the chocolate and coffee flavors. The pie was good, but the service and shop staff need to be alert on the signage for new customers who don't know what the pies look like. read more

These are the worst pies I ever had! The apple pie was the worst "Lord of the Pie". It was loaded with thick sweet and gooey caramel. The apples were like dried apples instead of fresh. The topping was like caramel and white sugar. It was a terrible combination. Also, the crust was thick, dry, and tasteless. The "Drunken Nut" pie was just as bad. Extremely sweet and gooey. read more
I love this location... Deep elm is okay but this shop is just so cozy and cute! I love the vibe of this area and yesssssss... the pie is still the business!!!! One of my favorite go to for the drunken nut! My hubby always talks big game " I'm never going to spend another $45 on a whole pie!" Every time we go to Dallas guess who stops and gets a pie?!? This place was fine, but pretty over-hyped. The staff were friendly and the space was cute, but seating was extremely limited. Could hardly seat a group of four (we had to pull tables together). I had the Smoother Operator, which was extremely overrated. It sounded delightful, but was ultimately a little disappointing. I could hardly taste the pretzels! It was basically a chocolate bomb. The surrounding area is really cute though, so I would say this place is perfectly situated! read more

Visit: Weekend Order: -Drunken Nut Ice Cream 8.1/10 Creamy, bourbon buttery sweet pecan ice cream that didn't disappoint. -Drop Dead Gorgeous Pie 8.1/10 If you're a pumpkin spice lover, this is your jam. The spiced pumpkin filling and gingerbread crust was on point. read more
We were passing through during the thanksgiving holiday weekend and surprisingly found street parking, so we stopped in for a slice of the Smooth Operator pie. It was just as advertised- smooth chocolate pie with a crumbly crust. We liked it so much that we grabbed another slice to go. Adding this place to the list when we're back in town! read more

When we went it was not on the menu, maybe during a certain season. I was told the pies change by season. They did have a lemon chiffon pie with ginger snap crust called Mellow Yellow on the menu tho .
