It was going to be a very long day on the day I visited and wasn't in mood for sandwich, i wanted sit down restaurant food. Service was good, prompt, friendly, no complains here. Food - since I was in France, I thought they will serve better food. Soup wasn't flavorful, duck was dry. I was disappointed as I was eating yet again it reminded me that I was at the airport. Unfortunately, there isn't much options around.... As I was eating I remember some good resturant just outside the airport in Tremblay en France.... Brasserie Flo is well known in several countries for it's impeccable service and quality of food! Well, what to say about this particular restaurant? It's certainly up a level, but I have the same feeling with it as you get in hotel restaurants or other airport establishments; even though the service and quality might be outstanding, it's still not super 'cosy', warm, friendly, the atmosphere feels rushed and impersonal. This also goes for the service and food... Totally understandable though, they're dealing with travelers and quick turn over of customers. Nevertheless - still not bringing warm, fuzzy feelings to my idea. The service was quick, can't say much about that. The food came quickly, also no remarks about that. The wine was good, the quality of food in my opinion 'OK'. Not the best of Brasserie Flo that I've experienced in Reims or in Amsterdam... The carpaccio for example was drenched in lemon juice - I couldn't taste anything else aaaaai the acidity on my palet. Send the dish back, got one back quickly and no lemon whatsoever. All good, I like my meat but wasn't a yes-oh-love-it-give-me-more dish. The dessert, Oeuf a la Neige same thing. It was nice, don't get me wrong!! Just what to be expected of it so all good. The prices are Brasserie Flo prices, so be prepared to pay triple digits for a two-course meal and bottle of wine to share. Overall, it leaves me to three stars as I can't fully say that I'm a huge fan and yes, that has mainly to do to with the atmosphere, not unfriendly but also not the warmest friendliness in service.
