The hotel and the environment is definitely upscale, so it's a good place for special events. For the food we got foie gras, octopus, and lobster pasta as our dishes. Even though some other comments on Yelp didn't like their food, I think that it was cooked fine and I enjoyed what we got. The food is on the pricey side, but I think that's to be expected given the upscale atmosphere of the restaurant. The lobster and octopus were done well, and the foie gras also was tasty. If you're in Nice, this is a solid place to check out if you want a nice environment to dine in!

The decor for Christmas was a delight for our visit . Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted and seated , we had an early reservation so we had many chooses . Only disappointment was the calamari. The batter wasn't seasoned and it wasn't coated on the squid well. Overall though, the prices are fair and the service is good, so I'd recommend newcomers to Nice should come here. It's just a bit "normal" where nothing is uniquely Niçoise but you can still find a good dish.
