I'm a fan of macarons and I always feel kind of fancy eating them. Plus I love all the colors and flavors. I didn't really love these that much though. I tried lemon, salted caramel and strawberry key lime. The flavors really came through on the lemon and the salted caramel the most. I am not a fan of the texture of these macarons. The ones I selected were kind of hard and crumbly so that was disappointing since it was my sweet treat for the day. This shop also had a tiny selection of tiny chocolates. Most of the options were milk chocolate but there were 2 dark chocolate options. If the chocolates were bigger and there were more dark chocolate flavors I would have tried those as well. If I go back it would likely be for the other side of the counter with the gelato. read more

Have only been to this mall twice and each time we had to stop for a small box of chocolates to go! I'm not much of a macaron person myself but they have quite a variety on display. The prices are pretty standard, not overly expensive. My fiance loves the key lime flavored chocolates. I personally am a fan of the dark chocolate cheesecake. The gold dusted dark chocolate Eiffel towers are delightful also and super cute! They do leave a little gold dust on your fingers but I've been made aware that this is because they didn't want to use any preservatives which I can definitely appreciate. If anything it just assures me what I'm purchasing is fresh and not sitting there for weeks. This location also serves coffee as well that I plan on trying once I have some time to actually sit down and enjoy it. The service has always been quick and above par! Worth a stop if you're in the area *Update* Have stopped many times now for chocolates to go and I've yet to be disappointed! We are always greeted with a friendly smile and hello when we arrive. I hesitated to update this review and it makes me sad to do it. I prefer to only update with good news when I'm raising a rating. However, this place is very different now and it impacts my rating, opinion and how often I will return. I was a regular customer here for their entire first year. When I visited in July, things were still fantastic. The owners and I always chatted for a while and everything seemed fine. The franchise owners were a delightful and dedicated couple. Then my husband and I came in at the end of August and I asked an employee if she was new. She told me there were new franchise owners, which was a complete shock. I came back recently and the new owner was kind enough to inform me that Fabien had to go back to France due to an illness in the family and had no choice but to sell the business. This at least explained the change to me. I do want to stress that the new owner was an extremely pleasant and professional woman. Service was great, she even asked me if I had ever had macarons before. She also made a suggestion when I was on the fence about going with my favorite (pistachio) versus trying the chestnut. So service is still great! The menu selection is also varied with lots of options. For me, it's the quality that forces an update at this time. I will continue to come by occasionally because as soon as I can confirm the quality has returned to the same standard, I would be thrilled to immediately update my review and rating. When I came here 3 months ago, I got a scoop of pistachio gelato, which I've gotten many times. Normally it is fresh, creamy and has a great nutty flavor. On this visit the gelato had a crumbly texture, it reminded me of freezer burn, both visually and in taste. It didn't taste like pistachio and it didn't have the slightest hint of creaminess. I was so disappointed. I came back last week, thinking I had given them enough time to get in their groove. I sampled two different flavors of gelato. This time, it stll wasn't as creamy as it should be, but it wasn't crumbly at all! However, both had a really, really unpleasant aftertaste where they started out sweet and then had a faint chemically tang to it. Both of these were flavors I had never tried before so I can't fully compare them to how they should taste. I figured I should just nix the gelato and go with a macaron. They had the macarons fully stocked, which is rare to see. I ended up getting pistachio because it's always been my favorite. Upon first bite it was really cold and gummy and didn't taste like pistachio or have the expected texture of a macaron. I figured these hadn't thawed from their cold storage long enough, so I put the bag in my purse and came back to it 20 minutes later. Less cold, still kind of gummy, but a faint and familiar taste. Sigh, okay, let me try in another 20 minutes. Oh, okay! Not the melt in your mouth texture I'm used to, but now it tasted like pistachio! Wait, is someone with my level of self control and demand for instant dessert gratification supposed to wait 40 minutes to get a macaron that somewhat resembles what I'm used to? I was really bummed. The gelato should be creamy, the macarons should be delicate, the filling should melt in your mouth. My taste buds mourn the memory of the gelato and macarons here. This place can be so much better. But I bet it will be, so I'll come back in a few months and see how they are doing. My rating is currently a 3 because the service is good and to be fair... gelato and macarons are not the only things that are sold here. Their chocolates still looked fantastic and they also had some pastries on display. I'm not giving up on them, but I am waiting for them to return to their high quality standards before I become a regular again. read more

Really cute café style bakery with some seriously delicious macarons! I have fallen in love with the Colombian Coffee Macaron. I bought a box of macarons and a box of chocolates and picked all different kinds of flavors because I wanted a variety of things to try. We haven't gotten to try all of it yet, but everything that has been tried has been really good. Besides the coffee macaron, the chocolate that is shaped like a peanut (flavor was peanut butter I believe) is very, very good (a curse word might have involuntarily slipped out of my mouth as I was eating it). I didn't get to try it but they also serve crepes and gelato and different coffees. I do want to go back to try the crepes and an afogato. read more

Walking around the mall and ran across this little shop. I ordered my signature Rose and Pistachio. The sizes of the macaron were nice and big. When I tried the Rose the flavor was there but the texture was a chewy same with the pistachio. The airiness of the macarons was missing but the flavor was actually there. Not my favorite. read more

Love this place! The lady that worked here was really nice and friendly. I ordered 12 macarons to share and they were all great! It's inside golden triangle mall, next to Claire's. I thought it was just a little vendor stand, but turns out it's a whole little store. All the macarons, chocolates, and gelato looked beautiful and tasty! Macarons tried: rose, lavender white chocolate, mango passion, pistachio, vanilla, Belgium chocolate, pumpkin, lemon cream, raspberry, green tea, salted caramel, and chocolate praline. The strongest flavors were the flowers-rose and lavender. The mango macaron didn't taste like mangos, the raspberry tasted kinda like raspberry jelly, and the rest tasted like what they're suppose to taste like. I don't like the pumpkin one as much. My favorite would be the lavender one, it's not as powerful as the rose. It's kinda calming (since lavender calms our mind lol) I'd come back next time to try the chocolates and gelato! The guy of this store was really nice to strike up a conversation. He gave good recommendations on which are among the best. I tried Pecan Praline, Chocolate, Lemon and Pistacchio. This was my second visit here. The first time, my son wanted to try it, but I didn't get anything. He got 2 and loved it so much that he wanted to share (a bite) of his second one, but it was so good that I ate all of it. (Sorry Izzy!) Hubby and I went to a local restaurant earlier and I was very underwhelmed, so I needed to end the night on a good note and I knew this would do the trick. Initally, I only wanted macarons, but after reading my yelp bestie's review , I decided to try the gelato as well. I am so glad that I did. I had the madagascar vanilla macaron. It was great!! It is perfectly chilled and the meringue was so light and tasted almost like ice cream. The "cookie" was crisp, but not hard. I had the creme brulee gelato. It was delicious. Le Macaron has the best and freshest macarons (not macaroons - BIG difference!) I've ever had. It's difficult to savor and eat them slowly. The texture of the macarons are textbook, I mean, pastry-book perfect. The use of fresh ingredients is obvious. No artificial anything. Great care, passion, and hard work went into each macaron, pastry, and serving of gelato (all of which are fantastic too - the creme brulee gelato is delicious). I highly suspect that Fabien has some serious training in his past. Or, maybe macarons and pastries just come naturally to him. :-) This is our second visit and Fabien and his wife both remembered us from our first - which was almost a month ago! These two are super friendly and always greet customers with a smile. Fabien even stopped to chat with us for a few minutes. I can't recommend this gem enough. Was in town for an appt and just had to stop by. Got an eclair for my partner, and a box of chocolates for myself. I do have a local chocolate place at home, but they have odd hours and I always forget about it due to the location. Being in the mall sure helps this stores foot traffic I bet. The candy was beautifully displayed and clearly priced. I beleive I got the Key Lime, Bananas foster, Dark chocolate paris tower, I don't recall the name of the dark heart but it had a nutty taste, and the moulin rose'. Am I forgetting one? Probably so. I did not get to try the Rose', much to my dismay, as my partner scarfed down the entire one without allowing me so much as a nibble, but i thoroughly enjoyed the rich flavour and consistency of allowing the tower to melt in my mouth. Can't beat a classic dark! But as for some thing a bit different, I very much loved the key lime! Oh yes, the last one was the pear! I will say, I am not much of one for jelly filled ones. Wow. I think this place could get me in some trouble. I have to be honest with you yelpers. I hope this isn't a big sin, but this is my first time trying macarons. A part of me felt maybe I shouldn't write a review because I don't have anything to really compare this experience to. Another part of me said these things are too amazing not to review! The macarons were a different texture than I was expecting. I thought they'd be crunchier, but when I bit in they were barely crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They tasted incredible. I haven't tried all the flavors yet, but I plan on it! The raspberry macaron is the one I can't stop thinking about. It was sooo good! It took me a while to try this place because of the prices. They are very expensive. But the quality of this product makes it worth the price. 5 stars! I think I'm already addicted. I'd like to add that I've ordered a few times from this place through UberEATS. I can tell even through delivery that they care a lot about their customers. I first visited Le Macaron Denton with my husband for their grand opening on June 23rd. The owners were friendly and offered suggestions on what to try since this would be my very first time trying a macaron. When I was there I ordered a salted caramel scoop of ice cream and a coffee flavored macaroon. Honestly I was so impressed by that ice cream. I've had a variety of ice creams from a variety of places around America and I found this one to be hands down the best I've ever had.
