Couldn't be more excited to come across this spot! I have to avoid both dairy & gluten for health reasons. Every macron is gluten free, but they also offered 6 dairy free options when we visited. 4 were everyday flavors (blueberry cobbler; chocolate covered strawberry; mango; raspberry) & 2 were seasonal flavors (piña colada; peach). Oh how I love macarons! These are the best in Savannah. Their location is next door to the Lucas theater. So they are easy to find. But the store front itself is small. There is signage, so you will be able to find it. Parking is available on the street, it is not free. The inside of the store is small. It is meant for grab and go orders. But you will see the beautiful display case filled with macarons. The pricing is directly above the case. Let's talk about the macarons! They are scrumptious. The shell is crisp, but when you bite into the cookie itself it has a wonderful chew. The fillings are smooth and flavorful. A few of my personal favorites are the following: classic vanilla, salted caramel, cappuccino, and Mexican spice. There are a wide variety of other flavors too to tantalize your taste buds. You can get macarons in a bag or in a box. They will ship too! And of course they make them for special events and parties. The service is always efficient. Because I'm always in and out quickly. The service is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. In true fashion of its southern town. First, I tried a pistachio macaron. It had the perfect color and a glistening meringue shell as well as the coveted sized feet, and to follow a great filling- sandwiched between the right amount of chewiness and crunchiness. Then, I tried the German chocolate macaron. This was amazing as well. The dark chocolate was perfectly balanced with the macaron's sweetness. Yum, yum, yum, and yummy! Wow, I was never a big macaroon fan, or so I thought, until we stumbled upon this gem as we were walking in Savannah. Quaint little shop, only room for a couple at the display case at a time. Beautifully presented, and you can also get them in a pretty little box for gifting (or just for yourself!). Hubby chose the Snickers macaroon, I went for salted caramel, and we picked up a chocolate ganache for the teen. They were perfection. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The Snickers tasted just like it sounds, the salted caramel was groan inducing. We had packed up the ganache to bring home to the teen, and she had it the next day and said it was amazing. They do ship and can put your logo on the treats as well. They have seasonal flavors each month. This is a definite stop on our next visit to Savannah. read more

I scrolled through this business while looking up places in Savannah. I didn't bookmark it for some reason or another but we were walking on Broughton St when I saw the shop's signage and asked my girls if they wanted to get some macarons. Silly me, of course I got an unanimous "Yes!" The shop is tiny, but they had plenty of flavors to choose from. We decided to get six macarons for $12 and selected all different flavors. We noticed a Square / park within close proximity to the shop and walked there and enjoyed a couple of the macarons. One of the first flavors we tried was the Tybee turtle. Ooh la la c'est délicieux!!! It has caramel fillling, 1/3 of it was dipped in chocolate and topped with chopped pecans. We liked it so much that we went back into the shop and purchased six more macarons (four Tybee turtles and two new flavors). The cappuccino, hazelnut, and chocolate covered strawberries flavors were good as well. My least favorite flavor was the confetti. It was pretty, but that's about it. My daughter liked it but it's probably because of the sprinkles. One macaron is $2.25 which is pricey, but pretty average pricing. These seem to be a bit larger then other places I've been to and this is the first time seeing macarons dipped in anything. You do get a volume discount when purchasing more. Each macaron equated to $2 ea before tax. In hindsight we should have have bought 10 pcs for $17.50 ($1.75/ea). Prices reflects boxes or bags packaging. We opted for the bag since they weren't gifts, but the boxes are pretty and would be a great gift idea. One minor callout is instead of the bags, I think a simple corrugated macaron packing box with clear window would be a nice improvement. These boxes wouldn't have the partitions as the current boxes and shouldn't cost as much, but would be more visually appealing to showcase the beautiful macarons better. The staff that helped us was pretty quiet, but she was friendly. I noticed some of the other reviews stated that the macarons were dry / stale. Luckily we didn't have this issue with our purchase and hope we don't encounter it on future visits. read more

The colorful, beautifully decorated treats were all so inviting that I had no idea what flavor combination I wanted. The prettiest one was definitely the confetti and the most interesting flavor I saw was the blackberry lavender. My friend ordered a coconut & dark chocolate and a pina colada macaron. I settled on the bourbon pecan since I thought those flavors seemed very Savannah. I tried a piece of my friend's coconut & dark chocolate which was a tropical, indulgent blend of flavors. The bourbon pecan was a buttery, sinful, melt-in-your-mouth delicious macaron. I have a feeling that there are no "bad" choices here! In addition to their beautiful Macarons they have macaron wearable jewelry. It looks like the macaron earrings and other pieces are created by a local artist, which is a cool collaboration. The only down side to the shop is that it is so small with only one table. However if you are just picking up a box of Macarons to-go this isn't a big deal. Yes yes yes! I am almost ashamed to say, before I stepped into Marche de Macarons on a whim, I had never tried a macaron before. Something about their cute little storefront immediately drew me in. And I'm so glad it did! The store itself is super small, with a single counter showcasing all the beautiful macaron flavors. You can see back into the kitchen where there are sheet pans of macarons cooling. They have such an awesome array of flavors! We chose to sample the confetti, Tybee turtle, salted caramel, and red velvet. I'll post a picture of all of their flavors and seasonal flavors as well. So many awesome flavors to choose from! All four flavors were a huge hit for me and my boyfriend. The texture was perfect- crunchy on the outside, but smooth and flavorful on the inside. I think my favorite was the red velvet, but it's hard to choose- all four flavors were remarkable! All in all, this was a real treat. Adorable little macaron shop and boutique but situated in a weird spot in Hilton Head Island. After eating lunch at the Low Country Backyard Restaurant, we walked across the street to this cute little macaron shop and boutique. In addition to serving up macarons, there are little plates, decor, kitchenwares sold there. The shop was run by two lovely ladies who were so helpful and friendly. We ordered a dozen macarons in a bag (you can also order them in their signature box, but that's a little more money) and we basically ordered a bunch of different ones. Our favorites were: vanilla, raspberry, confetti cake, salted caramel (their most popular macaron flavor) and the cappuccino. They are baked to perfection, complete with the signature macaron feet ;) We learned they also have a location in Savannah, which we walked by when we were there for the day. I think the macarons are baked at the Savannah shop but then shipped down to the Hilton head location, but I can't be 100% sure. As said before, it's in a weird spot since it's a little hard to find this plaza that this place is located. That's hardly a reason not to go, though. This USED to be my favorite place for macarons. I moved to Atlanta a year ago and I would order them online. That's how good they USED to be. I stopped in yesterday before I got back on the road. I ordered 6 macarons in a bag. ($12) I decided to go with my favorites and ordered two jasmine passionfruit, two pistachio and two tybee turtle. I didn't bite into them until I was halfway to Atlanta. They were extremely STALE. I was soooo UPSET. I bit them and they would crumble everywhere. Even the filling was hard.
