We started with the cheese curds which were very good dipped in their honey sauce. My brother and his girlfriend each had a burger and they shared so they could try each one. One was the picked loon and the other was the special for the day. They said both were good. They also liked the fries and tator tots. I got honey mustard chicken salad which was big. Gorgeous piece of architecture, but also a really well maintained lawn and surrounding grounds that looked like it could accommodate a considerable gathering of people. There's a fountain near the memorial plaque, along with some statuary and some cute music makers for people to play with. I was quite enamored by the multicolored mosaic animal statues (I had to snap a photo with each!) near one of the entrances. I noticed a couple of port-a-potties and many trash cans. Also the geese waddling about the grounds were kinda cute. I'll probably look online to see if they're having any upcoming events that interest me, because it'd be cool to show up for a performance!

We were able to bring in our own lawn chairs and the drink options were very decently priced for a concert venue. They had a handful of food trucks on site. We were able to find free street parking nearby. All of the workers were very friendly and it was a great way to spend a summer evening in Minnesota!

My other recommendations are the Cajun hash and the corned beef hash and the blackened walleye Benedict along with the Monte Cristo. Often we sit at the bar which is really nice but you can't go wrong sitting outside especially in the evening where it seems a little extra special, especially if you're out there with a few friends like we did a couple times already. Some of our friends that lived out west a bit came out here to visit us so we had to bring them to lucky 13 and they really enjoyed it.
