Walking into Le Nails in Slidell, my visit started a little rocky, the staff arrived late, which had us waiting. I was second in line, so I ended up being serviced pretty quickly. They offer a lot of pedicure options, honestly, almost too many. It felt overwhelming trying to figure out which one was actually worth it. Prices were fair, though, so that helped balance things out. Inside, the atmosphere wasn't the brightest. The lighting made the space feel a bit gloomy, and while it may have been clean, it didn't look fresh or crisp. The pedicure chairs were placed very close together, which made the setup feel cramped. They even do eyebrows right there in a chair in front of the pedicure station, convenient, but definitely not the most private or relaxing vibe. The manicure area was nice. The seats were plush and comfortable, oh and the pedicure chairs had a great massage feature, honestly my favorite part of the whole visit. However, when it came to the actual nail work, my cuticles weren't properly done. They weren't cleaned up the way I expected, which made the polish look a little unfinished at first. My nails came out okay overall. I actually had to give them a day before I could appreciate them. Overall, Le Nails has some strengths: fair pricing, comfy chairs, and relaxing massages but the atmosphere and some of the detailing in the nail work could use improvement. read more

I asked for nail dip they insisted on gel after I told them I didn't want it so I got a dip with gel on top. She doesn't listen she gives you what she wants you to have and NOT what you ask for at your expense. I asked her not cut my nails. She cut my nails anyway on one hand after I told her NOT to cut them. She is rude and argumentative. Finally I told her to just take my credit card and pay for the botched services and let me leave. She had the audacity to hold my card and raise her voice saying next time they don't give me what I asked for I should snatch my hand away. I responded NEXT TIME??? please give me my credit card and let me leave. She held me and my credit card hostage as she ranted loudly refusing to take accountability and blaming me for inability to listen to her customer. This place is horrible!!! absolute nightmare. This will be an on going review... I'm new to the area and looking for a regular nail salon to go to but I can say this at this point.... It's not looking favorable... Was told to go wash my hands first, so not a problem if only Everyone else did the same. I've sat here and watched multiple people walk in and be serviced. Now, over 25 minutes soaking for a pedicure, finally - I guess they got the message when I took feet out of the cold water.! And of course I'm going to get the fast pedi in record time ....wait let me massage that lotion in my legs myself. They are not happy because I won't get gel nails- they don't understand the gel do not stay on. The pop off in a day or two. I got asked 3 different time to do gel - they never recommended an alternative. So don't catch an attitude with me..... Not the friendliest of people I've come across .... WATCH YOUR VALUABLES! My friend had her engagement ring stolen today at Le Nail Spa! The management yelled at her when she asked them to check the cameras and for help looking for it (real classy, btw) SPD couldn't search anyone because it would violate their rights, but they did inform her that the "security camera" isn't actually REAL! No camera means there is no way to see if the suspicious employee that it was next to (that they suspect jacked it) was the one that stole it. So, for now, all we have is our first amendment right, and I'm choosing it to warn others and to remind Le Nail that there are almost 50 places in Slidell that you can get your nails done at, and when you list them all by "top rated" in google they don't even show up in the list of the 48 places I counted. I used this salon several times and it is getting worse -the last time I went for a mani-pedi, sat in the Pedi-chair for 45 mins with my feet soaking the whole time. Then the older lady did the pedicure and the polish was old and thick so she put some acetone in it and was runny and extremely messy and chipped off in 2 days. The mani was rushed and the gel nail polish peeled off in less than a week. I would have gone back to fixed the pedi but was already out of town on vacation! Need to find another salon. read more

I've been going to the salon off and on for the past 10 years or so. What caught my attention was their prices. It made it worth the 15 or 20 minute drive for me. They do pretty good quality work. The guy always ends up doing my nails, he could smile a little more. All of the girls are pretty friendly. Their nails stay on for a really long, which I love! I can wear a full set of nails, which I am rough on, and they will stay on easley for a month and a half. read more

This place was really nice for a small area in Slidell. I came in looking to get a pedicure with my girlfriend and they both treated us nicely! The prices were extremely low compared to other nail salons I took my girlfriend to. They may be busy on the weekends, which sometimes causes them to rush. Because of this, I always come in on weekdays after work and they always do a great job. I always get my eyebrows done by Tracy and she always gets the job done nice and fast. read more

I have visited this salon a few times in the past with my sister. I never enjoy my experience. When I get the pedicure my water is never hot enough and sometimes I'm sitting there waiting for 30 mins or more to get my feet done. I said I wouldn't go back again. Well, today my husband and I passed and it was empty so I thought why not. Let's just say my pedicure and gel manicure was not good. The lady could not get my nails right. They kept bubbling up and she fixed them 3 times.. I still left with an ugly dull lumpy gel manicure. NEVER going back and I'm serious this time. read more

Yesterday, I went in after working all week thinking I would treat myself they had another teenage girl that they messed her nails up & as she tried to explain to the lady she wanted her nails filed down & some nails were not the same shape & size the lady was grabbing & snatching her hand roughly with aggression & they seem like the don't have time to start & finish your nails because they often let another person randomly jump in & do your nails were they left off they hurried up & got my credit card for me to pay because they knew my nails were not right so worried about getting paid then they told they very rudly told the teenage girl I was sitting next to "you want or I cut off you want or I cut off" she said no I don't want it now because you messed my nail up the lady snatched her hand & cut her nails off then started getting the polish off after the girl left she tried to come by me with her nasty attitude & she got corrected real quick they got paid but I had several bad experiences in this place but tried to give them a chance I will never go back PERIOD read more

They were taking appointments and I had one for 5:00 pm. Apparently they were also letting walk ins come in and I waited an hour for my appointment and the walk ins were served first. Needless to say I left. They are also not practicing safe distancing. Every chair had someone in it and they were not even 2 ft apart. This is my original Facebook Review from yesterday, Sunday 5/13/18 around 3 or 4 am. I had the worst experience ever at a nail salon! I went to this place for the first time and needed to soak off dipping powder and have my nails redone. My mom was with me and she was getting a pedicure. We arrived at 6 something in the evening and expected a wait because it was the day before Mother's Day. People came after us and every single person left before us. NO EXAGGERATION. We were the last to leave and it was almost 9p! I showed the guy my nails when I walked in and said I wanted a similar color. My nails were a light grey. He ended up showing me a dipping powder that almost looked like my nails. A man started to file my nails finally after I don't know how long. Then a lady came and picked up the file tool and started doing the same thing. When dipped, the color was so dark that I thought it was black at first. The lady doing my nails kept saying it wasn't that dark but it totally was! She said once the top coat goes on it'll be lighter. I showed her my toes and said nails was a little lighter than my toes and she insisted that the color was the same. She started the process and in the middle of it got up and another lady sat down and I had to tell her where the other left off. Then they swapped again!!!! The first lady sat back down and I had to show her where to start and by then my nails had been dipped 3 times. I told her please do not dip it again. There was also a nail that cracked across the top and I told them to cut it but the First Lady insisted on fixing it. She put glue on my nail and that nail was dipped about 4 or 5 times in between. So it's bulky compared to the rest of my nails. She then put a gel top coat on. The guy who initially greeted me came by and put alcohol on my nails. One hand was glossy and had streaks in them like as if I had my nails done for a week they've been lightly scratched against something. The other hand looked like a matte finish. I told him to ask the lady but he said he would try WATER on them. Needless to say after water, then oil, then washing my hands the lady had to finally come back over to repolish that hand. By then everyone was gone and a last minute person had come in well after 7 and was leaving after getting a pedicure. I tried to show the lady nails more than once asking about the streaks in my nails and she put more oil on them and said they were fine. By then I wanted to cry. I stood up and wiped my nails on my pants and showed her. I told her as a customer who's paying it's awful to not only have my color messed but to also be rushed and "hushed". When I'm trying to show them a problem that's bad customer service not to listen. I showed her my nails up close and explained that it's for future references because I would not be coming back. I explained that I went somewhere else normally and I came there last minute but didn't expect all that. I told her that I had my nails dipped and it was only dipped twice and the look was supposed to be thin and natural. She said it needed to be dipped 3 or 4 times so the nails are hard. I told her mine were hard when only dipped twice. Also I had not gotten a gel top coat. It was a top coat that went with the dipping powder. She then proceeds to tell me that they don't have the right stuff to do the dipping powder and she needs to talk to the owner about it! Keep in mind that it's almost 9 at night, I've been there about 2 hours or so and my nails are messed up for Mother's Day. At that point I was just so over it! Why would you offer a service if don't have what you need or don't know how to do it??!! She told me I should go to the place that I went to before since they were able to do the dip. (You think??!!! I'm totally going back to my original place in the future!) Now I'm up in the middle of the night and my fingers HURT!!!! I woke up out of my sleep and they are burning. I don't know what is going on with my nails but I have NEVER had this problem before in my life!!! Edit: I forgot to mention that they tried to charge me for my toes and I came in with my toes polished already! I had to show them my CHIPPED polish that had been on for weeks! read more

I came here because I was in the area and needed a pedi. .... I will never make this mistake again ! My feet were not able to soak , when I left they looked the same as when I came in . They didn't not massage my feet or paint them any better than my 7 year old ! All in all the pedi lasted maybe 15 to 20 min ! read more

Price seems to be about average for the area. The work and staff were less than impressive. I had a pedicure with French tips and the man that did it was friendly and did a nice job. I also had a manicure with gel polish (French to match toes) and wanted a fleur de lis on the ring fingers. I expected them to paint the design on but they came out with stickers and only put one coat of gel top coat on over them. They were lifting and damaged by the time I woke the next day. When I went to have them fixed they seemed irritated and hardly spoke at all. They did fix and do the design in paint but only after I asked them several times. During my original visit I had to ask for several different errors to be fixed and some of my nails were still not filed evenly when done. For the price I have seen much better work and I will not be going here again. read more

This Nail salon has great deals, I came in this morning and asked to do my eyebrows, then i ended up doing a manicure and pedicure! They massage me so well, i just want to stay there and sleep there. They always ask me if my water is hot enough, and if it isn't, they put in hot water to your preference. I always come here and always will! read more
