Snow/freezing rain was blowing sideways in the wind and it was not a night to venture far. You enter the 1026 and it's clear this is a bar. Guy food, beers, all that good carnivorous stuff. Looking at the menu it was loaded with goodies of Pizza, wings, burgers, pasta and some seafood options. Really a pretty decent menu. Don't expect gourmet food but a solid offering of food that goes well with beer. I had a hankering for a burger so I chose a portabella swiss burger and was recommended the caesar salad (I try avoid fries with all my biz travel). Burger came out a very generous portion and the caesar was quite good actually. A bit garlicky but generous with dressing and croutons. The burger was on the better side of okay. Not the best I've eaten in my life but not bad none the less. We were here for a Wednesday night and noticed wings were 1/2 price. Not gourmet food but very decent pub food to meet the needs!
