He made it seem like he was the only person in the city capable of making this tux look good. When I called back for the second fitting, I was told to just pick up the tuxedo. That was the beginning of the disaster. I got it home to discover the pants wouldn't even close, and the shirt sleeves were FOUR inches too short on each arm. I called immediately, and they told me to bring him back in -- which I did, trusting they'd fix it. Instead, they sent my 5-year-old home looking like he raided a clown's closet. The replacement tuxedo had a shirt down to his knees, pants comically baggy, and a jacket hanging off his shoulders like he was playing dress-up. The sleeves were now so long, they rolled them up and pinned them with cufflinks. Seriously. This tuxedo is an embarrassment, and the service is worse. I paid $250 to rent this joke of a tuxedo, and when I called to express how unacceptable the situation was, Jon refused to do anything about it. No refund. No apology. Just arrogance. I found a perfectly fitting tuxedo at Macy's for half the price. Save your money, your time, and your sanity. This place is a scam dressed up in false promises and ill-fitting jackets. I wouldn't trust them to dress a scarecrow. Run the other direction.

Fine, that is a stylists job to help you find what works best for your body. I felt there was some slight body shaming inherent in her pushiness, but whatever. I chalked it up to the stylist being a bit older and perhaps of an era where curves were not as celebrated as they are now. I would not have written a review, except for this one exchange that really continues to not sit well with me. After I responded to her that I was comfortable with my curves and that my fiancé is also a fan of my body, she said: well it doesn't matter what he thinks, they always think you look nice. It is everyone else at the wedding you should be thinking about. That was just a step too far for me. I promptly left, ending up purchasing the sheath dress I liked elsewhere where I was comfortable doing business. It just left a bad taste in my mouth that she (1) was unable to read the room about my personal preferences and comfort, I wasn't looking to her to help me decide what suited me best in that moment and (2) would go so far as to stoke insecurity with that last comment. It doesn't matter, but I am a size 8-10 street, 14-16 bridal. I include that only as a reference for those who might be seeking an inclusive, supportive shopping experience -- because that is NOT what I had here. They did have some nice dresses in stock, though I did not fit into any of the samples really.

Meanwhile, I poked around on my own, never once asked what I was looking for, while the declassee gum-chomping saleslady catered exclusively to the other woman. While I was approached for her to take the two items I found into the dressing room, she never inquired how I was doing and even in my departing "good-bye, didn't stop talking to the other woman or bother to thank me for stopping in. Initially the employees seemed pretty nice and helpful. I was looking for a specific color suit that I needed for my sister's wedding. Pretty uncommon color but I figured they would be the best place. They measured me and told me they didn't have anything in my size for that color, I'm a bigger guy. Then they said they might have some in their book that can be shipped to them. I took a look and found some that I liked. The one I really wanted they said they couldn't get for me because I would need separates, understandable but disappointing. The other one I found didn't really match the color | was looking for, but the tie helped pull it together. I decided to RENT it for ~$200. The time came to pick it up, a few days early which was nice. Then I saw the suit... it was VERY low quality with a CLIP ON TIE (hook and loop). It was days before the wedding so there was nothing I could do but suck it up. They picked some white shirts from their stock for me to try on, but none of them felt like a good fit. I don't understand how a suit rental place can't find a correctly sized shirt. I decided to just take the one that fit okay and buy a shirt that actually fit me. I also had to buy a tie that would not look horrible. Still ended up looking pretty good at the wedding thanks to my external purchases, but | felt like I looked cheap thanks to the suit. Very bad experience overall, definitely would not recommend. Also the employees always smoke right outside the front door.

That could not be the opposite! Their gowns are so moderately priced with majority of them being under $2300. I went in thinking I wanted a ballgown and went the entire opposite direction. Alessia pulled every single dress I asked to see, she helped me try on and take off the same dresses multiple times. In the end she ended up custom making me a gown from items all around the shop. I found my dress at my first apt but left without it because I was too nervous to say yes at my very first apt. I went back about a month later tried on even more dresses & Alessia convinced me to try on my dress one more time and I knew it was mine when I looked at it on the hanger. We learned that the owner's name is Charlotte and she painted all of the artwork in the shop. But what they didn't know is that my late grandma's name was Charlotte & I have been having a very difficult time without her being here, walking into my changing area and seeing her name on the art work on the wall I knew was a sign that not only was she there with us but that I'd be leaving Lambs Hill with my perfect dream dress. The entire staff is amazing, made me feel like a princess and I absolutely cannot wait to see my dress come to life!
