Tony and the Fleet Feet crew really did a great event with this event from responding to emails right down to giving me an extra medal for Run buddy and my Running Club VIP tent access. + Nice swag bags with color specific tech shirts for Male / Female + Medals for all finishers + Awards + 2 Wine pours for each finisher + VIP tent with unlimited pours and extra snacks. + Punctual start + Pacers from the Tri Valley Running Club (another I am a member off and almost paced the the event myself) The run itself was a bit of an odd one for me.. the course was all road which I was totally unprepared for but made it great for a new PR. The first mile I had a few wardrobe malfunctions - My hydration vest was bouncing about so I had to re-adjust it and then my Pandora kept cutting out every 60 seconds so I spent a good 10-12 minutes playing with that trying to fix it. I swear the Runners behind me must have thought I was already on the Wine because I was I all over the place! Once adjusted thought and found my ''happy pace'' all was good and I spent about 6 miles right behind another members of Mountain House Running Club. The course marshals and volunteers at the Aid Station were great and full of energy encouraging us all as we paced though. I'm not sure if he was a volunteer but right around the 12:75 mile mark there was one guy who really encouraging me as I sped down the home straight.. not going to lie, I was really feeling the many miles of asphalt (trail runner here) and getting pretty tired so his enthusiastic cheers gave me that last little push I needed to get across that Finish Line. I really am not a road Runner but overall this event was great and I will likely do again.. The whole experience was made better by the fact that I was here with an awesome group of supportive people.

I called Haag Performance because they had great reviews and they were close to my job. They don't usually do repair work, but Mike was so nice and said he would have his son take care of it for me. My husband took the car in, (unfortunately I had to work), but they took the car right back and got to work! My husband said they were very professional as well as friendly, they offered him a drink and showed him an engine they were working on. They cleaned my headlights which looked awful before, now they look like brand new!! I would definitely take my vehicle back there and I appreciate the Haag business for taking great care of us!! A flat rate at the door gets you all day play or but a 3-day pass for the ultimate weekend of pinball. There is a silent auction and a raffle and a chance to win a pinball machine. This is a wonderful event that supports the World of Wonders (WOW) Science Museum in downtown Lodi.

After a very long trip and temperatures in the 100s, I was very disappointed. The track prep and…read moreseating areas are fantastic. Concessions are very well priced and they also sell beer. So why the 2 star rating? I used to run a oval track in Ohio and I witnessed a lack of urgency in starting the event. They needed more corner workers. But it didn't matter as there was no more than 4 riders in the 10 heats that I watched. Many races had 2 people only. I left after 1 hour of this. I am sorry to say but I wish they could pull more riders and have on track staff ready to roll. The concessions, gate man, fans and announcer all receive a 5 star rating.

It is an annual one day event held on the grounds of the Grape Bowl and there was plenty of food and wine to sample and activities and entertainment to enjoy. Admission was $15 a person at the gate but I believe you could purchase tickets in advance for a special price. Parking was free. There were several food vendors, bands playing, and even an opera performance! In addition, there were cooking demos, bocce ball, a car show and a sauce contest where you could pay $5 to be a judge. In the main hall they had craft vendors and a very interesting history of local Italians who have contributed to the community. While attendance was great, the Grape Bowl grounds are spacious enough so you could walk around easily. I would definitely love to attend this event next year and I highly recommend it. They had a lot more to offer from food vendors, regular misc vendors and activities for the kids. Plenty of parking (however pin your car and remember what lot you're in!) I didn't realize there were 2 entrances. We entered in the front, yet when we were leaving we walked out through the back and didn't recognize or notice until we got all the way out that our car was on the entirely opposite side. Luckily they allowed us to re-enter so we didn't have to walk around. It was definitely packed, parking can be paid with Apple Pay! Purchase tickets online a few days before the fair for the best deals! I can't wait for next year to come back and enjoy some sun, rides, and carnival foods.

Operating hours are during hot to very hot time of the day. Didn't know there were two different…read morewrist bands. One all you can ride and the other was limited. But the limited one was more expensive. If you wanted to get tickets instead they were a $1.00 each. Each game (had only 3 different kinds) were 10 tickets each and the rides were at least 5 tickets each. Every ride we went on had at least 4-8 empty seats left. Very disappointing and won't go back.

I attended the original tour in 2010 when it stopped in Stockton, so seeing it in Lodi is a complete treat. Most of this review will also apply to the other stops in the tour. The trophies were on display for pictures from 5PM-7PM so you had to get there a little early to ensure that you would be able to see the trophies. (All three of course..) They actually started letting people in early so it really doesn't hurt to get there early. You had to be inside the doors by 7 to make it in...they are not very forgiving when it comes to the time. Once you were inside they had you sit in the theater in order that you were in line, and let you watch highlights of the whole World Series while you were waiting. They took people back in rows of two, and then would fill those two rows up with people waiting outside. We probably waited 20 minutes outside and 40 inside, which was really awesome. Instead of a hour standing in line most of the time waiting was reliving the Series in a comfy chair. Bravo to whoever thought of that idea. The line moves pretty fast, they have their own "team" photographer who takes the picture or pictures you want (no touching the trophies themselves) but they try and discourage people from taking their own shots. The pictures end up online for you to order or do a digital download. You could also buy them there, we bought all three pictures we took for 50 bucks, it sounds like a lot but they turned out great and the first thing I did when I got home was scan them and turn them digital. So yes, it's all about publicity and probably a little about money but isn't everything? It's awesome to see ALL THREE trophies without the travel and special passes somewhere else. Totally worth the time, and just a reminder what an amazing time it is to be a San Francisco Giants Fan!! Orange and Black forever!!

I brought my two daughters to funworks to ride the go-carts…read more I have lived in Modesto my entire life. I came to funworks as a child and choose to bring my children here now. We have come to ride the go-carts specifically, and today, we walk in and are asked if we've signed the waiver and my answer is yes.. then asked what attractions we were here to enjoy. After telling the female that we were here to ride the go-carts she proceeded to tell me that mine and my daughters' hair was too long and even if we put it up we would not be able to ride them. My hair has always been long. I can wrap it up and have many times before, and now I'm told no Before I even really enter the building. That's the end of that good chapter. Bye funworks. I will NOT be back.
