Knowing I was going to have multiple teeth removed, I obviously had concerns regarding post surgery discomfort. Dr. Fleishman said I should have nothing more than manageable pain and that it would likely last only a few days. This is my first day post surgery and I have to say my discomfort is even less than he described. Needless to say I am thrilled that's the case. The office was quiet, clean, and comfortable and the staff was very kind. Went to see Dr. Rosenberg for a simple tooth extraction. She was good, however I am still waiting for money reimbursement from this office for at least a month!! Was originally told by front desk gal that would be submitting a bill for $265, later found out they submitted a bill for $608!!! Was told they were in network which turns out they are not in network since January 2021!!! Manager insisted they submitted bill for $265 which is so far from the truth and submitted the same bill for $608 to my secondary. They used up all money from my primary and I am still waiting for this refund. Be very careful when using this practice because what they say is totally different from what they do. read more

WOW! In and out in 40 min! It seems that the efficiency and respecting patient time is one of the goals of The Plainview office. From the check in process (if you get it done online prior to the visit, it will save you great deal of time), to the x-ray, to the prep, the procedure itself and the recovery room (yes, I want trough 6 peoples that take care of you, but i guess that the magic of make it happen quickly) it was a pleasant (as pleasant as removing wisdom tooth can be....) experience and I will recommend anyone that need oral surgery or procedure done, do it here. my procedure was done by a great young DR. I saw Dr. T (my dentist) for a severe toothache on 1/16/18. He thought I fractured the root and immediately sent me to Plainview Oral and Implant Surgery. Dr. Barry Bass made room for me in his schedule and evaluated the tooth. He determined I had an infection and recommended an apicoectomy instead of extraction. He wanted to save the tooth. He was able to complete the procedure with minimal discomfort that same day. I was sent home with antibiotics and pain medication. Dr. Bass called me later in the evening to check on how I was doing and gave me more information on how to take my pain meds to minimize my discomfort. Dr. Bass did an awesome job to help me and save my tooth. Big props to Dr. Bass. And his staff was awesome as well. read more

I experienced the worst turn of events here and I highly recommend that this office be avoided when seeking oral surgery and dental care. I would not trust this office period. Nothing went wrong with my surgery which was the extraction of four wisdom teeth but the debacle that occurred due to a highly irresponsible and completely unprofessional oversight on their part led to them billing me in full for a procedure that they had said was covered completely by insurance for me. Specifically what happened was that I went in for a consultation in August and then the surgery was scheduled for October. In August they told me that my insurance covered the procedure. I had the surgery in October. A while after October I got a bill from them for the procedure. Its a hefty price when not covered by insurance, I was shocked and aghast at what had just happened. It was extremely deceptive for them to tell me that my insurance covered and then to let the procedure happen without any other information that the procedure would not be covered. My insurance had changed from one to another, the latter insurance was not accepted by plainview oral. The huge mistake on their part is that they didn't check in October before my surgery whether they took the insurance that i had at the time. They should have reached out and apologized, i received nothing of the sort, just demands for payment when it was their mistake and something they could have totally prevented from happening. Today I had my second appointment with the wonderful Dr. Neller. He was assisted by the very charming woman Diana. I must say I was very nervous two weeks ago when I was going in for my first appointment to have my wisdom teeth removed. Today was my second and last. The experience I had at this practice has been nothing less then phenomenal! I was awake for both procedures. Dr. Kneller did a wonderful job at explaining everything step by step to me. He and Diana kept me very relaxed and even had me laughing at some points. Today he removed my top right wisdom tooth and my bottom left. The top tooth was removed before I knew it and the bottom was out shortly after. I have never in all of my life had such a great experience with any type of procedure. One thing I very much appreciated from this office is that they called me after my procedure, just to follow up and see how I was doing. Everyone in the office is very friendly and easily approachable. I truly feel like they cared about me as a patient and at no point felt like they were just trying to get my money. It was a refreshing experience since every other oral surgeon I have seen only seemed to be interested in taking my money. I would give this office more stars if I could! I look forward to seeing Dr. Kneller for my follow up next week and for all future oral surgery needs! read more

The Massapequa office was professional and caring. Dr. Bass removed my son's wisdom tooth, and he healed without complications. Unfortunately, the Plainview office where he went for his followup appointment cost this review a few stars. One of the women at the desk loudly insulted him after he was checked in. She brought up his age, insulted his taste in clothes, and stated that she would not let "that" walk through her door. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and may not like basketball jerseys and hats, but I do not believe that it was appropriate to insult a patient in a professional setting. If a staff member insulting patients in the office is accepted, I have to question if that staff member is following Hippa guidelines out of the office. "That" will not be walking through the door at the Plainview office again, and I will mention his treatment to our referring dental office. read more

The front office receptionist/staff greeted us promptly when we arrived and assisted us with checking in. Dr. Tracy Rosenberg was professional and thorough with explaining the procedures both children needed. She was especially understanding and supportive for my overly anxious child. She listened carefully and developed a plan that my dtr was comfortable with. The day of the procedures the dental technician/assistant was amazing. I came to this office for my TMJ- when I got there I waited 15 minutes in the waiting room which was not to bad. Then they called me and told me they had take a pano x-ray which makes sense and told me it was going to cost me $150.00 and they needed the payment today. I told them to send it to my insurance and get a denial first then I will pay the bill. They were not happy, but why should I pay for something my insurance might cover. I then go into a nice room, and wait for Dr. Rosenberg. minutes go by, 10,20,30. I waited for over an hour, with no knowledge of whats going on. The doctor comes in looking rushed, told me open and said I need a night guard, I waited over an hour for a two minute appointment. The lady who helped me check out told me she will send in for the night guard. My insurance doesn't cover it so they charge me over $400.00 for the night guard. Thank god I work for a dentist and was able to get it cheaper . I got a denial for the x-ray which is fine, the same day I got a collection call, for my payment. THEY PUT ME IN COLLETIONS AT 21 YEARS OLD!!!! WITH OUT EVEN TRYING TO GET PAYMENT FROM ME. Hell no- I work for a dentist near by and I always tell my patients about my experience here because it was not a good one. read more

I don't know how to express how angry I am now about this place, but I would try to keep calm and tell the story of this awful place I went to take out my right upper wisdom tooth, and a dramatic side issue I am having today. I visited this place in January, and Tracey Rosenberg was the one who did the surgery for me. She simply just did the extraction like treating me as an animal. Very few communication during the surgery and she was just doing it like repeating a house job she does all the time. After the tooth was out then I was sent to the waiting room to rest. At that time, I was using my tounge to feel that wound area, just the tooth in front of the extracted one, and I feel a little crack on it. I didn't pay too much attention because I tought it might just be a little chip after the extraction. Then I was sent home. For the past month, that wound socket was never healed and until 3 days ago, it became weeping and bleeding again. So today I visited another dental office and guess what - she craked my other tooth when pulling my wisdom tooth out! I was suffering drastical pain in the past month from a deeply craked tooth because of a simple wisdom tooth extraction surgery (being mentioned by Tracey Rosenberg that THEY DO THIS SIMPLE THING EVERDAY)! Wow, what a "professional" statement from a professional DDS has 15 years experience in this industry. And I was found my whole upper jaw was infected due to this cracked tooth and then I had to have it extraced. Fair enough, this is from my own experience. Anybody who reads my review should know and feel how true this story is, and HOW ANGRY I AM RIGHT NOW. Plainview Oral, you guys should be feeling lucky that I am not suing you guys to the court because I did not keep enough evidence to show the court. I will tell every of my neighbour to stay away from you guys now because of the heavy and ridiculous discomforts I have suffered due to the extremely amature surgery you guys have done on me, and yes, you too, Tracey Rosenberg - just retire now for the rest of your life and SHAME ON YOU! read more

I called to have my daughters wisdom teeth pulled last week, I told them on the phone that 2 definitely had to come out, but we didn't get the entire scan of her mouth. So they asked me if they should put down for 2 or 4, I said I guess 4 because I knew I wanted them all out of need be. But didn't have a X-ray of all of them, so she said she would put down 2 , but if 4 needed to be done, they would do so. She also recommended us doing a prior appointments see what really needed to be done. My daughter spoke with June on Monday, due she has an appointment on Tuesday and she said no worries, we can do it all on Friday, so my daughter said great......well today she gets a call from Bernadette ( very condescending lady) and says there won't be enough time to do this all on Friday, I was SUPER CLEAR that I wanted them all out at the same time, and Bernadette just talked over me and said she has a memory of an elephant and remembers talking to both of us.....not too sure how when my daughter spoke to June!!!!!! They claim they would never see my daughter at this point, but I would never go to them. My recommendation is to get things recorded from them, if you don't want any problems. Too bad for these doctors, it has nothing to do with them, just their incompetence staff. I have worked with the public for over 37 years now, and would never speak to someone like that, she should be disciplined for her behavior !!!!! read more

I went to Dr. Rosenberg for a fairly significant maxillofacial surgery procedure and let me just start by saying that she was amazing! I met with her the first time and had some scans done and some measurements made. The next time I came in she laid out the surgical plan for me. I'm one of those people who does some research online and comes in with 1,000 questions and she was GREAT at taking the time to respond thoroughly to each one. I asked that we slightly change some aspects of the surgical plan and she was very receptive. How often does that happen that a surgeon actually hears you out and changes their plan to best suit your personal preferences?! Awesome. She explained to me how the surgical modeling works and even offered to send me the digital surgical plan .pdf when it came in. As my surgery was approaching and I was getting anxious, she met with me one more time just to set me at ease about everything and answer any last questions. Procedure day rolled around and everything went GREAT. I'm THRILLED!!! with how everything turned out. It was about a 7 hour operation. Afterwards, she gave me her personal cell number so I could text her any questions I had during recovery, even after hours, which was fantastic and I certainly did on more than one occasion. Her bedside manner was extremely caring and compassionate, from the surgical planning to her post-op care. She had me come in several more times just to make sure everything was healing up perfectly, which of course it WAS because she did an amazing job!!! I couldn't recommend Dr. Rosenberg strongly enough! And her front desk staff? Don't even get me started. They were FANTASTIC. At the time I was working on a military physical and unfortunately I had to keep asking them for various parts of my record from the surgery, which they were happy to do, and VERY timely as well! They'd e-mail me exactly what I needed within maybe an hour, tops! And getting the insurance approval? A lot of people who had the operations I had get their request for insurance coverage kicked back once, twice, or even flat out denied. Recently took my 13 year old daughter to get two baby teeth pulled. The front office was amazing! Before my visit I called my insurance company to make sure the procedure would be covered. I spoke to three different people from my insurance company who all told me it would not be covered. When I go to their office I explained this to the staff. They told me not to worry, just pay the co-pay and they would handle the insurance. During the procedure Dr. Jurman couldn't have been nicer and they staff was so comforting. They explained step by step what was going to happen. We both instantly felt comfortable. After the short procedure, I was informed that my insurance company would cover the cost and a few weeks later I received a check in the mail from Plainview Oral for an overpayment.
