CRT (Ortho K)? YES PLEASE! I am so happy to have found Dr Diop. My kids and I were due for our annual check up back in early/mid 2023, but had recently moved when I saw a sign for her office and dropped it. The experience was wonderful with Dr Diop, as she never made us feel rushed, and took care with every interaction. I had my kids start on the CRT (aka Ortho K) eye therapy this year, and it has been such an amazing experience. Results felt instant, in just a few days, my kids were able to see 20/20 through their entire day. Dr Diop still continued examinations, tweaking the fit of the lenses for one of my kids, because comfort was just as important as vision. Leaf optometry has wonderful staff and such a knowledgeable and friendly doctor. I had a comprehensive exam and also selected some new glasses. Dr. Diep spent time to explain the different tests and how what she was checking for. She even was able to check out how dry my eyes were and gave me some eye-drop samples! She is very thoughtful and listened to all my concerns and questions. All the equipment in the office is clean, high tech, and brand new. Their optical selection is also great and high quality. Dr. Diep and her team let me try on many different pairs and were patient as I was indecisive. Best optometry office in the South Bay and it's not even close. Beautiful office - only two years old so it's still brand new and has all the latest tech. From the first second I called to make an appointment all the way through walking out the door, everything was a 10/10. Jessie at the front desk is so kind, thorough, and helpful. Dr D is of course amazing. I've been wearing contacts/glasses for nearly 2 decades and have never had an exam last more than 20 minutes - this one was over an hour. Dr D showed me photos of my eyes and explained everything in great detail. I learned so many new things at my appointment that no other doctor ever bothered to mention over all these years. Recently brought some glasses from them. The exam was very thorough and the optometrist explained everything about what was going with my eyes. Very very knowledgeable. Very friendly staff. They adjusted my glasses to fit perfectly. One of the glasses I dropped and a screw popped out. The lab had used to short of a screw. I took the pair of glasses back to Leaf Optometry, which they fixed in a matter of minutes with a longer screw, pulse made sure the other screw was not too short and made sure it was tightly secure. She spent a lot of time explaining what each exams was checking for. Doctor Chan is amazing! She spent a lot of time with me and told me every detail of what was happening with my glasses and contact prescriptions. She even educated me on the fact that our eyes can actually get freckles and later turn into melanoma if I do not wear UV protective sunglasses. The staff was also very nice and hospitable.
