My old optometrist retired. (And the one before that, too.) Now I've landed at Blink, and it's delightful--bright, fresh, helpful, with a good selection of frames and very helpful staff. I've seen both Dr. Slivar and Dr. Compton, and can cheerfully recommend both as smart and thoughtful and kind. Both actually read through my chart and talked about what was best for my vision. Made an online appointment for February back in December. Get a call the week prior to my appointment, that the online appointment I made was already booked over? Weird considering I had made it over two months ago. Rescheduled for the following week but continue to get texts over the weekend for my original appointment date. Called to get an irritable receptionist on the line who claims I don't have ANY appointments on the calendar. I told her to remove me from Blink's calendar altogether thanks to the crappy service I've received time and time again, and I will find somewhere else for my annual exam. read more

Absolutely horrible experience, I got sick for my initial appointment, so I rescheduled for a different date. I show up on that rescheduled day and they tell me there is a problem in the system, it didn't record the new date and they don't have it. Just wow, one hour of waiting later - nothing. I have a record of my call to reschedule and everything but guess what, it doesn't matter. Waste of my time, waste of gas, just absolutely a waste. Would not recommend a business that has workers that don't know how to reschedule customers properly so customer doesn't waste their time and effort. Or at least if they made a mistake don't know how to accommodate a customer. read more

Sad. Had glasses done on 12/2/2025. Doctor made a mistake, had to re do refraction and lenses. I called, staff said fixed on 1/5/26. Jan 5, still not fixed. I asked if I should wait another 2 weeks because the unfulfilled promise is messing up my trip. Manager denied Jan 5 promise, got angry instead of apologizing still unable to say when glasses are fixed. I should not have paid in full until glasses are done correctly. I regret going to this optometry and will never recommend them to anybody. read more

We've been going to Dr. Ivor Meyerson for over a decade when he was in the Southbay Galleria Mall but recently moved to this new location. Service is always excellent and this new environment is sleek, cool, and we can see outside! Love this new location especially because I was able to grab a bite a couple doors down before my appointment. So convenient for parking too--do not have to circle up the parking structure any longer. All the support staff is lovely and makes it a smooth process for the entire appointment. The most challenging part was selecting new eyeglass frames. read more

While driving in the area, I just happen to notice that Dr. Monica Slivar was listed as one of the eye doctors at the new Blink Optometry location. As a patient of Dr. Slivar's for years, I was very happy to find her at such a convenient location. Dr. Slivar is one of the best optometrists out there, and I've been to many, many eye doctors over the decades. She is very helpful, answers all my questions, and works with me to find the right vision prescription. The rest of the folks at Blink Optometry were very professional, and the new location is very nice. It would be great to have a bit more seating in the waiting area, but that's the only thing I can think of that they need to improve. read more
