Unfortunately, I cannot recommend La Petite Academy after my daughter's three months at this…read morecenter. From the beginning, we never truly felt welcomed. It took about three weeks for my daughter to get a name tag on her cubby, and only after I brought it up. There was also a classroom display with pictures of the children, yet my daughter was never added during the entire three months she attended. I had concerns about supervision and staffing. There were times when I observed what appeared to be more children with one teacher than I understood to be allowed. I also witnessed teachers on their phones and some staff handling children by their arms more roughly than I was comfortable with. Sprout updates didn't always seem accurate, and children sometimes weren't checked into the camera system until hours after drop-off. Potty training was another frustration. I repeatedly explained that my daughter was successfully potty training at home, yet they continued saying she "wasn't ready" and putting her in diapers. She had ONE accident within her first few days and none afterward. I also asked that she not wear a diaper during nap because she doesn't at home, yet I would sometimes pick her up still wearing a full diaper. My daughter is an active 3-year-old, and this was her first real school setting. She needed redirection and would sometimes leave her designated area within their open-concept setup. Instead of feeling like they had patience while she adjusted, I felt she was treated like a problem because she wasn't a child who would simply sit down and stay in one area. It eventually reached the point where I was told Ms. Alex was overwhelmed and crying because my 3-year-old kept leaving her designated area. I was also told by my husband that Ms. Lorene suggested my daughter may have special needs and essentially shouldn't be at their school. When I brought this to Jamie, the director, her immediate response was, "Ms. Lorene is my sweetest teacher, she would never say that." I felt immediately dismissed instead of having my concern taken seriously. After bringing this up, it felt like even more negative things suddenly started being said about my daughter, followed by comments about how much they "truly cared about her." Unfortunately, I never felt or saw that care reflected in our experience. Rarely did I hear something genuinely positive about my daughter unless it came after something negative. Jamie was also very unpleasant to communicate with regarding concerns. In my experience, her tone was unwelcoming, and I often felt concerns were brushed off rather than genuinely addressed. We were paying $480 A WEEK for care. At that price, I expected significantly better supervision, communication, patience, professionalism, and overall care. If your child is active, has a speech delay, behavioral challenges, needs additional redirection, or this will be their first school setting, I personally would NOT recommend this center. Three-year-olds are still learning how to function in a classroom. They need patience, movement, guidance, and redirection--not to be made to feel like they don't belong because they require more attention. Ultimately, I became uncomfortable enough that I withdrew my daughter immediately, called corporate and essentially filed a complaint. Every family's experience may be different, but based on ours, this was not the supportive or welcoming environment I expected--especially at $480 a week.

He has also learned to be respectful in public settings, communicate thoughtfully, and show consideration for others. The Montessori approach has been a great fit for our family. The lessons and teaching philosophy align well with our son's learning style, fostering his independence, confidence, and natural curiosity. He genuinely enjoys learning and continues to grow into a happy, kind, and inquisitive child. The only downside is that the drop-off and pick-up windows are a bit more limited than at some traditional schools. However, we understand that this is consistent with the Montessori philosophy and scheduling structure, which emphasizes a balanced day for young children. It's such a sweet family feel that we love. The curriculum is great, my kids are always coming home telling me what they learned about that day and excited to show me their art. The teachers are so warm and friendly, my kids love them and my son's teacher Miss Ana connects with me often about his day and any concerns that we're partnering together on (because 3 year olds are tough ). I really appreciate that she cares and takes the time to connect with me on things she's noticing and how we can best support him. They also do fun things like pot lucks and even this morning my son woke up and excitedly told me it was potluck day. Can't recommend this school enough!

As a parent, I was apprehensive about leaving my child in someone else's care, but from day one I felt completely comfortable and confident that she was well taken care of. Every single teacher at CTCA exceeded our expectations. Each one brought their own unique strengths to the classroom, and our kids were genuinely loved and had good morals instilled in them along the way. I especially want to thank Ms. Becca. I was torn between the free TK option and investing in my daughter's education here, and I am so grateful I chose to keep her at this school. Ms. Becca sent her into Kindergarten with confidence, strong social skills, and -- most importantly -- a real academic foundation. To this day, my daughter still talks about things she learned in Ms. Becca's class, and she is currently performing above grade level in her academics. That speaks for itself. She is comfortable with drawing and writing in kindergarten thanks to her well developed fine motor and gross motor skills during her time at this preschool. When she became a kindergartener in the public school system, she helped her friends with opening lunchboxes, was confident in using the restroom and setting appropriate boundaries in friendships. Our second daughter is now in Ms. Becca's class at this preschool and she couldn't be more excited. She had wonderful and caring teachers ( Ms. Mariah and Ms. Winnie) who helped her become comfortable with school. We are grateful to have found this school and to have stayed here over the years. They have a wonderful little playground, a beautiful garden, and most importantly, a deeply caring staff.

The hours are short though, 9 am-2 pm. So no nap time for the kids but it's ok, they can nap at home, even better for mommy! At this point there's a new director on board and although sometimes there can be some miscommunication between the parents and school, overall I still love this place.

I love how caring the Director Julie is - she knows every child by name, prays for them, and listens to the Holy Spirit. During covid I knew the school was being ran by someone who hears from the Holy Spirit - what more could you ask? I love that they do the pledge every week together, along with prayer, and they sing songs about Jesus in chapel. I have never had any safety concerns the entire time they've been there, I know they are in the best hands. One of my favorite things about Lifebridge is how they do fun spirit weeks and celebrations. My boys are always looking forward to exciting celebrations coming up, Lifebridge makes holidays memorable and add in a ton of flare in between holidays to make school more exciting! Summer school especially is also full of exciting themes - splash day with bounce houses, popsicles on the playground, etc. If they're ever having a hard time getting to school, I can usually remind them of something fun coming up they're looking forward to. We are not a big extracurricular sports family, but I LOVE that they get pulled out to attend Amazing Athletes every week. They get to experience each sport, as well as do fun games & exercises & they get stamps to show what they learned that day so I can ask them about it at home. They never want to miss it.
