I contacted Leaf Filter & a sales rep got back to me immediately. He came & assessed what I needed which was less than 60' of gutter. Informed him I did not need downspouts since I have 3 rain chains in place of where downspouts would ordinarily be. In addition there was a 75% off of installation plus 10% off for senior citizen discount. His quote was $3800!! He also said my current gutters in 2 areas were still good so instead of replacing those gutters he would just place the Leaf Filter on top of my current gutters! I complained about the price & got him down to $1500 through much reasoning & negotiation. I still think it is too high for what I got but it is done & so far am satisfied with how they work. There was no written contact to reflect the price of the Leaf Filter sections, the lack of downspouts nor any evidence of the 75% off installation & 10% senior discount. Contacting the main office was futile. I will never contract with them again & would not recommend this company to anyone. $3800 down to $1500, incredible! read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU ARE A SINGLE WOMAN HOMEOWNER. I FELT EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE IN MY OWN HOME. Robin Appleton came out on 9/4 to give me a gutter installation estimate on my single-story 1,000 sq ft home. He started by quoting me $5,000, then dropped it to $3,200, and when I said I wasn't comfortable spending over $2,000, he suddenly dropped it again to $1,950. At one point, my dad (who was on the phone) commented on the ridiculous price drop and the salesman clearly overheard and his entire demeanor changed. He quickly said, "Well, that's without profit," and his friendly attitude disappeared. He started the visit with the typical overly cheerful sales pitch but the second I said I wasn't going to make a decision today, his mood shifted. He became cold, stopped engaging, and walked out without even a handshake or a thank you. Unprofessional, inconsistent pricing, and high-pressure sales tactics. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU ARE A SINGLE WOMAN HOMEOWNER. I FELT EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE IN MY OWN HOME. read more

This is what over $7000.00 of LeafFilter looks like. Tried for over 10 months to get a resolution from LeafFilter as the product doesn't work; it created waterfalls over the gutter and created landscape issues as well as mold on our porches. The only thing they did was make several "adjustments" and offer us $350.00 on our account with Lowe's Home improvement who provided the financing for this product. That was a complete insult based on what we paid for the product; we declined their pathetic offer and found someone to remove it that we paid out of pocket. Beware of the salesman hard sell tactics. You can have this for free if you want it. read more

09/12/2023. We live in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina and get a lot rain. I decided to have leaffilter installed. Pros: look good and for the most part do what is advertised, Con: they installed splash guards in every corner which created a debris buildup. So I had them removed. Also, unlike the advertising debris does not just flow off in certain areas. Today I had to climb a ladder to clear an area I could safely reach. It does stop buildup in the gutter, but it does buildup on the top of the leaffilters. read more

LeafFilter Gutter Installation & Guards - So much buildup causing rain water to just flow over the debris. - Gutter Services Near Me - Huntersville, North Carolina

We bought our leaf water system early summer in Charlotte NC. Let me first say when the man came, he said this was a no pressure sale! We found out that wasn't true. After he showed us everything, we mentioned we wanted to talk about it and let him know since it was an expensive buy. He made it sound like we wouldn't get the "good deal" if we waited. We should have waited! We did feel pressure. Let me just say he's very friendly but high pressure! HE told us that we would no longer see the clay ring we see in our toilets. HE said our water would be pure and we wouldn't have to change our water filter in the refrigerator. HE said our clothes would come out cleaner. He tested our water and made it sound like it was REALLY bad! HE told us this system would be all we need. After a month or so we still noticed the clay rings in our toilets. My clothes weren't any cleaner then I thought they would be. And I'm sure my fridge water filter is ready to be changed. My husband called their service people and they came out to check the system. We explained the issues and were told we needed to buy more things, like a UV filter! We weren't happy at all!! We needed to spend MORE money?? Spending the $5,000 and more was not enough? The water is softer, but everything else was NOT worth the money!! We regret this high pressure sale and if we had to do it over again we wouldn't!! We feel like we were lied to and didn't live up to what they were selling us! Yes the salesman was friendly but aren't they all to get you to buy their product? We did call our salesman and he returned our call the first time. He told us that he would come back and test the system again but he never did!! This just has been a mess. So before you buy this water filter system be sure to NOT let them high pressure you. Take your time and really think about it. It's an expensive decision. Compare it with others, which is what I wish we had done. We are NOT happy and really regret our expensive decision. If we had to do it over again we wouldn't! I wish they had a buyback program because we'd give it back. We are so unhappy with this system!! Good much if you buy one. I'll never buy anything from them again. read more

I was curious about the product and service but quickly realized it was way too expensive and told them I was not interested. They have called me repeatedly for over a month using a different phone number every time. Absolutely ridiculous to be harassed like this!! Terrible business. read more

We had a salesman Robin come out and talk to us about their product. He was very friendly till it got time to give us the price. We first said we wanted to think it over, in which he started to reduce his price and applying pressure to say yes we would do go with them. he cut the price in half then talked us into letting them come out the next day to install the product. He told us they used their own people which was not true as we found out later that everyone that come out were sub contractors. 2 guys showed up the next day, never came to the door and introduced themselves to say they were there from LeafFilter. They showed up 2 hours earlier than scheduled and called from their vehicle out in the driveway. They installed the product and were putting tools back into their vehicle and as I was exiting my back door I noticed they installed one gutter backwards. I went to their vehicle and informed them of the problem. I would have thought they would of came to the door and asked us to come look over things to make sure everything was done properly. They fix the gutter the way it was suppose to be. Then one guy comes and pressured me into signing a satisfaction card before they even cleaned up. They left a mess in our yard. I found nails laying on the patio that were not picked up. Upon inspection the next day my husband noticed some of the filters were not properly installed. So, he called the salesman to inform him of the problem because he told us if we had any issues to call him. He told us to call the main office to set up an appointment to have someone come back out to correct the problem. They told us we would have to wait 1 month before they could get out to fix their screw up. We didn't feel this was very good customer service or professional. In the mean time, before our appointment approached my husband gets a called from a guy named Hutch at work stating he was in our area and if he could come right then to fix the issues. My husband told him no no one was home. Hutch just hung up on him. Again, not good customer service. Finally, 1 month later another contractor comes out to fix the first guys screw up. Not one person from the company called to see if we were satisfied with everything in the end. We will never reccomend them to anyone. read more

leaf Filter installed their system on our home in June of 2025. after installation, there were many serious issues. we immediately brought them to the attention of the corporate office, who referred it to another division, who told us it was fine. we hired two additional contractors to look at the job that was done and they saw more issues after inspecting the entire roof. now it is January, and nothing has been resolved. if anyone else has had issues please file a complaint with the attorney general's office. it is my understanding that there has already been a class action lawsuit against them that was recently settled. the salesman was misleading, the person we dealt with trying to get this resolved , was rude and unhelpful. leaf filter provided untrue information when answering our complaint. this situation is still ongoing. I would recommend you NOT use this company! they ask top dollar for a horrible experience. get quotes from a reputable roofer or contractor, and read the reviews before you make any decisions. read more

I purchased the leaf filter system for my home in the Blue Ridge area. The Greenville office was the local office to perform the work. Three small sections needed to be installed. Two of the sections leak terribly. When I call the corporate number they will only refer you to the local office. Greenville office has sent 3 different contract 5 times to my house. Each contractor said they can't fix it because it was installed incorrectly. Beware, beware, beware. Not a good company for delivering on a product. read more

Very poor service! We had these installed 2 years ago and it was poorly done. A part was damaged back in May by a storm and a tree falling. Called them that day had nothing but a run around since. The guy who estimated damage came out charged me 105 dollars saying this will be deducted from estimated repair price. I have called in 4 times now and no result. This is the worst service I have ever seen. Why people keep using them is unbelievable. Not worth the high price they charge! read more

This branch, Charlotte metro/Huntersville has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE worth mentioning. In over a week, this branch has not responded to any of my requests. *Even though I initially offered a credit card for payment, I contacted the salesman and customer service to advise them I took advantage of the 0% financing offer, and was already approved for that program. ***I made it a point to let the salesman, the customer service department, AND my credit card's customer service department that I NO LONGER AUTHORIZE THE USE OF MY CREDIT CARD, as financing had been acquired and activated. *The salesman erroneously reported back to me that the financing didn't appear to be finalized, according to his research. Indeed, it had been finalized. I repeated the steps the salesman offered, only to confirm the financing had been approved and activated. **This local branch of LeafFilter GP is NOT ORGANIZED, administratively. From high-pressure sales tactics, to inoperable phone contact numbers...this bunch is a mess. After a week of hearing "a manager would be contacting me..." , not a single person has reached out to resolve the issue...effectively being charged TWICE! What's worse, the dollar amount charged wasn't even the right amount. It was the inflated (before published discounts) amount, even though I agreed to a completely different amount. **Does this constitute fraud? I'm being kind in this review. There are several incidents of unprofessionalism involved with the interactions with this company. I can't attribute their lack of urgency and ineptitude to anything in particular. They're just a mess. read more

They will screw you over if repairs are needed!!! I had them install partial coverage of my gutter a few years ago. They claim lifetime repair if anything goes wrong. For the last 2 years, I have called and emailed several people to repair part of the installation. The only response I have gotten for repair is when I inquired about buying more product!! They are not interested in covering their work. If they can't see a way to sell you more products, they won't stand behind the so called lifetime guarantee. I would not recommend this company. read more

Unfortunately, their warranty is only for the "belly of the gutter" and none of the other parts or their workmanship or so I'm told. Their commercials regarding a lifetime transferrable warranty is laughable. They are more than willing to send a technician out to assess the situation (with a trip charge) and provide a quote to address the issue. Even though the situation is a result of their initial installation, they have no interest in resolving the problem (beyond the one-year warranty period) and ensuring customer satisfaction. They are simply not standing behind their products no matter the situation. This was an expensive mistake, and I cannot recommend the company, LeafFilter to anyone considering gutter replacement or gutter guards. Buyer beware! read more

I just had the best presentation I have ever seen as it pertains this product. This guy could have convinced me to join the KKK. We were so impressed with the product, presentation, and the company. But, it quickly goes downhill from there. 1) the guy showed up 24 hours earlier than expected. He didn't look like he belonged with the company. No logo, no company car, and looked unkempt. He showed up in a car with GA plates. So, how do we know if he was there to cause her harm? I thought that everyone with this company is employed by the company. This guy was clearly contracted. And, a terrible one at that. 2) he didn't have a ladder. So, he stepped out to Lowe's to acquire one. He then leaned the ladder against the damn gutters. I thought the objective was to protect my gutters! I shouldn't have to bring this to his attention. He went back to Lowe's to get the appropriate ladder. 3) he asked to borrow my leaf blower? WTF? How does this guy not have the proper equipment. 4) after an hour or so, we asked him about; cleaning, sealing, and leveling the gutters. He said; "I'm doing that as I move along". What's insulting; the moron did not have any equipment and material to seal our gutters. He also didn't have a level. His response; "these brackets act as a built-in level". He must have me confused as an intellectual misfit. Stop Bro, get down, please leave. You are sending a trainer to get this project going. But, outside of a wonderful presentation, we're terribly disappointed. And, the product looks amazing. I'm still willing to say that. But, for $5,000, I expected a great deal more. On a side note, similar comments were pasted on their Facebook page, but it was since deleted, and I was blocked by their admin. read more

Salesman didn't know how to do half round gutters and called someone to get ok - we signed contract and installer showed up alone - he made some phone calls and rescheduled - they installed on one building and were unable to get gutters down on our house to level - more phone calls and told me that they couldn't do half round gutters - ripped filter off first building leaving holes in drip rail and top of gutters more phone calls and I overheard him saying the home owner just wanted them off the property - I never said that - left us unfinished and we never heard any thing about the contract we signed. Very unprofessional and disappointing !! Larry read more

Am getting my house painted. Decided to look into replacing my gutters as well. Submitted the online form and got a call immediately to set up an appointment for an estimate. The customer service person asked my name and asked if I was "one of the homeowners". I told her that I was the homeowner that they are/would be dealing with. That is where she shared that there is a current promotion that will give me a 20% discount. BUT if I to included the "other homeowner" in the appointment I could get a 30% discount. I asked her to repeat it 3 times because I wanted to make sure I had heard and understood correctly. She did... Yes, I had. She was basically telling me my pricing would be contingent on me having an "other homeowner" (I.e. husband). When I shared my shock and discomfort with their open discrimination she reminded me I could get the 20% discount as a single person. I think at that point my brain exploded. Needless to say this is not a company with which I will be doing business. read more

Buyer beware! Everything you read about how these filters will prevent your gutters becoming clogged is probably true. They absolutely WILL prevent leaves getting into the actual gutter. Unfortunately, these screens also catch (and retain) oak tassels, maple tree seeds, poplar tree seeds, pollen and various other debris, effectively clogging the screen, preventing water from actually entering the gutter systems and funneling it right over the edge of the roof onto the ground where eventually you may have to contend with foundation problems. The pollen build-up on the screens alone renders them impenetrable and must be scrubbed loose with a hard bristled brush. I've complained to their customer service number as well as social media and they did send a tech out who said he would clean the gutters "off" but there was a charge for this. I declined. After spending in excess of 6K for this system, I'm left having to continually clean the gutters "off" versus "out." I could have saved myself the hassle and the expense - don't be suckered as I was. read more

Shifty, deceptive, and misleading. I keep getting the run-around. The Leaffiter system does not work as advertised. The filter may keep your gutters clean, but heaven forbid you have trees. The leaves stack up on the filter and rainwater does not drain well, especially in moderate to heavy rain. There are water puddles collecting in areas I have never had puddles, and I now have mold discoloring my gutters. There is also moss growing in spots. Furthermore, I contacted the salesman **** to tell him what was happening and how upset I was. His comment? "That's too bad". I contacted corporate, "We don't handle that" and was transferred back to the installation department. I am astounded at how many good accolades there are for this product. Likewise, I would remind folks an A+ rating on the BBB is worthless, please read the comment section. The supervisor **** did send someone out twice to clean off the gutters, but one of the gentlemen that came out said that Leaffilter suggests inspecting/cleaning them off twice a year! We got these, so we would not have to clean them off. We have a 2-story home, and I am definitely not getting on a ladder! Then we contacted Gutter Helmet, since we had used them previously. Wonder of wonders, after Gutter Helmet was installed, all our problems disappeared. read more

This company is a joke! I made an appointment for them to come and give me a quote and the sales man said that he would not look at my property or give me a price if I did not commit to buying them. I have a current post on Leaf Filter that has been going on since May. I reported them to the BBB, nothing happened. Leaf Filter corp. called me about my social media posting, we will have someone call you. Well that was sometime in June. The lady I spoke with told me the company was sold and they (the new company) did not make any money with the installation, well what happens to the warranty they tell you get? All prior installs are SOL! So then they say they will fix it, the NC office will call you, two weeks and no phone calls, I call corp. and told the NC office is a mess and they will call me next week, that time has passed. I asked for the local number and called the office, goes to voice mail that is full. Called corp. today, 8/12/2019 and talked to serviced, hung up, called again, hung up, and keep calling and voice mail. So bottom line, if you are looking to purchase gutter protection I would not consider using them. I still have a 2' gutter without the filter that was supposed to be replaced with a 6" wide gutter in the original contract. Do they need a star rating, no, cause the one I would give would be a negative 2 star. Not a satisfied customer and apparently I'm not the only one read more

LeafFilter North of North Carolina significantly damaged my front copper roof, gutters, Leafilter product and boxwood plants at the front of my house. In addition, they made an unauthorized charge on my credit card. On November 8, 2019 LeafFilter North of North Carolina installed a gutter cover that is supposed to prevent leaves and other debris from entering my gutters. LeafFilter agreed to initially do a partial removal of the old front gutter covers thereby permitting me to view the impact on the copper roof abutting the covers before complete removal, leaving the old gutter covers, if necessary, on the front of the house to preserve the copper roof. Instead, LeafFilter, without my permission, removed the entire front gutter system, significantly damaging the front copper roof and aesthetics of front of the house. LeafFilter North of North Carolina - Charlotte agreed to remedy the situation and sent someone to restore the copper roof. When that person could not remedy the situation LeafFilter sent a second person to repair my copper roof. The first attempt by the second person to restore my copper roof also failed and LeafFilter indicated they would have to order a chemical that they indicated would repair the significant damage to my copper roof. When this chemical did not work, unbeknownst to me, LeafFilter tried to repair my copper roof with acid. The application of the acid served to not only further destroy the copper roof but caused the LeafFilter product itself, the gutters to be eaten away and the front boxwood plants to be damaged. I have been attempting to resolve this with LeafFilter since November 9, 2019. They sent someone to my house to take pictures. I provided that person additional pictures and estimates for repair, as he requested. Since that time LeafFilter has not returned any of my telephone calls. read more

Without a doubt, the absolutely worst customer service/follow through I have EVER had, with ANY company/business or contractor. I had the initial consultation with the sales person, Brian Drastal, the Commercial account manager on 06/17/2021. I was told that a specific team, who specializes in copper gutters and slate roofs would be assigned to the job. The quote for the job was $11,137.00. The SUB CONTRACTOR from "Go Gutters" showed up on 06/28/2021 to start the job, (even though I was told by Brian that all their teams were "company owned." After a brief look at the gutters, the installer stated, "I cannot do this job, the gutters are bent." In the contract Brian clearly states, "repair any damaged gutters and downspouts. Realign gutters as needed." I showed the contract to the sub contractor, I said I would call Brian so he could speak with him, he looked at me and said, noway, I'm out of here. He got in his truck and left. I sent Brian a text, explaining what had just happened, it took over 5 hours for him to respond, saying, "I am waiting to hear what is going on. I will let you know asap. I heard NOTHING from Brian, or LeafFilter for 7 days. On 07/07/2021 @ 11:40am, I again sent Brian a text asking about the status of the job. Not until the following morning, Brian responded with, "I had spoken to the install manager and assumed it was handled. He then told me than he and the install manager would be at my home, the following morning by 10am, to come and inspect. They were a no show. I followed up with ANOTHER text to Brian, on 07/15/2021, asking about the status of the job. He NEVER responded. I then reached out to the customer service department for LeafFilter on 07/16/2021. After reviewing the notes on file, "Danny" informed me he was "escalating the claim to upper management, and I would be contacted the following day. Once again, ZERO response from LeafFilter. I called customer service again on 08/02/2021 and spoke with Shannon at 0815 that morning. She reviewed the notes on file, and told me, "your job was cancelled on 06/29/2021. WHAT??? After ALL of the texts and phone calls, dating back to 06/28/2021, NO ONE could inform me, that in the notes on the account, that the job had been cancelled? I have put two additional calls into LeafFilter, with NO response as to why the job was cancelled, and by who. Needless to say, I am beyond disgusted with LeafFilter as a company, and Brian Drastal as the go between employee. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

Great product - Horrible follow up service This was my first venture into gutter systems, and I can say when they are installed and glued correctly they work excellent. This review is not about the product but about the service to expect when you work with LeafFilter. Expect a hard sell, the salesman will insult you if you want to get a second opinion or if you want to wait to talk it over with your spouse. - this is where the discounts start piling on. In my case the first amount quoted verbally was $9,000 but after debating to kick the guy out of my house the price started dropping down to 7k them 4k and finally down to 3.25k for the install. The more insults and insinuations you endure the lower the price will go. At least this is what happened to me. My job was simple, install 2 new down spouts, attach them to my French drain and install the leaf filter system. The crew will work fast, they will work to get a crew to your house as soon as they have a check in hand, also part of their selling tactic. If you don't commit on the day of the evaluation you will expect to pay several thousand more. I fell for this tactic. On the paperwork side my contract and my warranty have 2 different job numbers on them so expect some discrepancies! Expect the contract to be written in long hand and hope you can read the writing. Make sure all notes are on the actual contract and not other pieces of paper written on by the salesman. This is important for when customer service challenges what you agreed on with the salesman! On the day of the install the crew showed up on time, was very professional and worked fast. The downside was they didn't bring enough material to complete the job! They did get the Leaf Filter system installed and completed installing one of the two downspouts to the French drain. They didn't bring enough parts for the second downspout and I was told they would come back out the next day to complete the install. Fast forward a couple weeks and several service calls and apologies later they send a guy out to attach the downspout to my house and fix a leak in the gutters. Leaks happen and he just needed to add some more glue. The downspout was installed off center 6 inches from my French drain. Yes I could fix this but I paid the company 3k to complete the job. Fast forward several more weeks and one missed service call later I start calling daily. The new region manager answers the phone and informs me he sent out a service tech to take pictures of my house and he would be happy to share them with me and that it is against the company policy to attach anything to the French drain, well they already connected one! According to the managers explanations that the company will never connect their product to any underground system as they would be liable. Well I guess they are now by their own logic as they are 50/50 on target. So I can say expect follow up to be poor, expect the salesman to lie, expect excuses and apologies from customer service. Expect to cover the cost of any other follow up on your own. The fix for me is to pay 10 bucks to get the parts needed to connect my drain and drill a new hole in my brick house for the bracket. read more

I had upgrades done to my house to include new gutters because my old gutters leaked, causing my deck to rot. when I contacted lead filter to have my new gutters covered, the salesman recommended that I get rid of the new gutters because they were smaller than what is usually used by their company and purchase new gutters from them. I absolutely refused. then, after agreeing on a contract and a date for installation, the installers didn't show up. That day, I called to cancel and got the runaround. I talked to two different office managers in two different offices and still got the runaround. when I did finally talk to the district manager he said I missed the deadline according to the contract to cancel. Never mind that they didn't keep their installation contract. I would never recommend this product & company to anyone! As a matter of fact, Leaf filter, I demand you stop sending me mail soliciting your service. You demonstrated Poor Service and contract under false pretenses. Do not use this company!!! read more

Leaf Filter will lied to you about the cost they charge ti others in your neighborhood Recently I had leaf Filter give me a estimate. Originally they quoted $18,000 I said my neighbor recently had his house done and was charged $4200 The rep said no way. Your neighbor had 350 feet of gutter repaired and his price was $8700,. I can do yours for $11297 if you will pay cash and do it tomorrow. You have 400 feet of gutters so that is the difference. I had recently had knee replacement and could no longer do repair myself. I just wanted the work done at a fair price. I finally tw my neighbor and he confirmed to me he paid $4200 I called Leaf Filter and call them out on this. They said this was a commercial rate they gave my neighbor on a resident. I called Nick Dimodugno who was the rep. on this When I called him out on what my neighbor said he admitted this He said the neighbor was suppose to keep this quiet. Underhanded sales . I have filed a unfair business request with the state. Do not do business with this unethical company read more

I do not recommend this company or their product. Our gutters worked perfectly fine BEFORE LeafFilter installed their filter over our gutters. We have clogged gutters which is destroying our landscaping. We cannot get anyone to return a call much less remedy our problem. This company is a rip off and does NOT stand behind their product or complete follow up maintenance as promised. We've wasted thousands of dollars on these filters and could have paid to have our existing gutters cleaned once a year for a few hundred dollars. I would give no stars but it made me select at least one. Do not do business with LeafFilter read more

Wish I could give them less than one star. Worst customer service ever. Waited 3 months for them to fix a faulty installation. They showed up twice without the correct ladder. Salesman came out & was genuinely a nice man but seemed flustered. After a nearly three hour sales pitch, with me expressing my concerns of our water runoff issues, he assured me their product would fix our issue. We signed the contract and installer came the next day. Told him about the concerns and he instantly said the product would not fix my issues, it would make it worse. I told him to cancel the order. He also noted the salesman did not measure correctly and the 6000 price would not cover it. My opinion of this company is they are a high volume churn operation out to close sales. I went with another company that is installing an entire new gutter system for less money with the same style of mesh covers. read more

I had the Leaf filter installed in November of 2018. I have had problems with water problems in the valley of my house every since. When the first technican came, he told me they had problems with valleys in roofs. The sales person did not mention anything about problems with this. Since this visit/call, they have been here at least four other times. They have installed, water guards/deflector dams, larger screens and drilled three 3 inch holes to allow the water to enter. Has not solved the problem on one side, improved the problem on the other. Now that leaves are falling, they dam up/ clog up behind the water deflectors, causing water to over flow/ around the deflectors. The water goes right into my gas pack fan and in the gas pack. The other side is now letting water run behind the facial boars, coming out the soffit. Two weeks ago, before our last heavy rain, I called a person and was told they would put me on a regular rotation to clean out the leaves behind the deflectors. No call to let me know when they would be here and no one has shown up. Rain this morning was overflowing and coming out the soffitt. I made pictures this morning. Where there is not a valley, the filters seem to work. I was told they could handle up to 6 inches an our. Our local news said our rates were 2 inches an hour. I have them on my garage also, except for one place on on the rear, seems to be doing the job. Leaves around the garage was really a problem I have been advised by my Dr. not to climb the ladder to clean this myself. The reason, I have both knees replaced, both hips replaced and am a senior citizans. That was my reason for having this installed. Guess I need to get our local tv station involved to get this problem solved. This review is for Concord, NC, not California or other area. read more

Not even close to what I thought I was getting for my money!!!!! Okay folks, this is my third time posting. First I would like to share the candid reply you get from Corporate when you write a review. Reply from LeafFilter Gutter Protection Published Tuesday, July 24, 2018 Hi Dan, According to my notes our corporate office is in touch with your local office and working on a resolution to ensure you are completely satisfied. If you need immediate assistance, please contact us at 800-749-4566. This is the only response I have received from Corporate. I have called the 800 number numerous times asking for someone from Corporate operations to contact me with no response. After many weeks of complaining and asking to have these problems corrected I finally got a supervisor to come out and assess the situation after I had 3 other people miss appointments. He scheduled a day for a repair crew to fix the many problems. They claim that all of the workers are in fact employees of the company, and let me tell the guys that showed up yesterday left a whole lot to be desired. I know you should not judge a book by its cover, but this was just ridiculous. After only being here two hours, they said everything was good to go. A few hours later we had a heavy rain and they are performing far worse then before. So not really sure how the best crew was able to make them that much worse in such a short amount of time. Also, the lead guy on the crew named Chris did not seem to thing the product was all that great. When I told him my concerns all he could say is that some people love them and others hate them. It really depends on the type of roof you have, and as far as things not sticking to the screens. All he could say is that he is not a salesmen. So that leaves me with fighting with the company to put my house back to the way it was before making it much worse than it was before. The whole reason for hiring this company was to make it better for me with less stress and work on keeping my gutters functioning properly. I am total disabled Army Veteran and am not able to climb ladders and get the roof to keep functioning properly. So as I stated in previous posts, do your research but in my opinion run the other way when it comes to Leaffilter. I really wish I could upload video and pictures of the mess I have. If anyone wants to contact me my user id is csmretired04 and I can be contacted through yahoo and I will be happy to provide video and photos of Leaffilter failures. read more

I have called several times to complain about the gutters blocked with dirt off the roof. They want $59.00 in advance to send someone out to look at the problem. Then what??? read more

Please do not waste your time or money on this company. They have a sales team that prices the estimate then sends sub contractors to the job. They charged me $22 a foot for a very inexpensive gutter. I used the same sub contractor who did a good job to finish the job at over 1/2 the rate of Leaf filter. They salesman who came out for the estimate came two hours earlier when I was not there, then quoted me over the phone. We were not on the same page when the contractors showed up the next day, and they only had an work order for half of what I wanted done. I have reached out multiple times to the company for resolution however no response is what I am receiving. Do yourselves a favor and utilize a local gutter contractor and cut out the overpriced, non-responsive, middleman that Leaf filter represents. read more

I left a rating with TrustPilot. This has been the biggest headache ever. I must echo the previous post. Presentation was amazing...installation a nightmare and it still continues. Had these filters installed back in September, I wasn't home my husband was. no one ever knocked on the door, they just proceeded to walk across the roof making all kinds of noise. They left debris all over the yard and on my patio....they were suppose to close off a downspout and they never did. I took pictures, called corp..got empty promise after empty promise about repair. A guy comes out about 2 weeks ago, told my husband that the installation was done poorly and needed to be redone, and that the gutters were not properly cleaned out and he would get someone out to take care of it. Blah!!Blah!! Blah!! We haven't heard a word . Now we come home over the weekend and find we have a huge water bubble in our closet ceiling right along the back edge of the house where the gutters are. If it rains anymore, it will surely burst thru the plaster and paint. The debris is so full in the gutters that water is starting to leak into my closet. Had the gutters been cleaned properly and the filters installed correctly this would not be an issue. I am furious now and corporate is a joke. I am not sure what else to do at this point read more

I paid over $3000 for Leaf Filter to put their product on my gutters. The product sheds not only leaves but also water. Water runs off across the top of the fine mesh of the screening material and ends up flowing down behind the gutter and in front of the gutter...not good for the house and not good for the landscape on the ground below. I do NOT recommend this product or this company. Initial installation missed one corner of my home gutter. Repeated service calls have NOT fixed the water runoff problem. The mesh screening is too small to allow water to easily flow into the gutters, hence the runoff problem. It is difficult to get a prompt reply from the company, either the outfit in NC or the home office in Ohio. I am still waiting for them to refund my money and to come and take their poor product off of my gutters. read more

Step back, do not, I repeat do not, buy this product. We have had similar experiences to other people who have posted here: great sales presentation, with the worst customer service and repair we've ever had. The gutters are clogging and while it looks like the problems might be fixable in time, the service people are completely incompetent. After a week of having the product installed, there was a flood of water off the roof that shouldn't have been happening. The first guy that showed up didn't have the materials he needed but did a little something that didn't really help. After that, we had three no-shows, despite multiple promises from various reps that teams would be showing up. We just keep getting the runaround. Extremely unhappy with the experience. We just want our money back - another promise the company made that seems like it will never happen. What a frustrating, insulting experience. read more
