After signing to have them install windows they did not ever come back to do their "expert" measurements. When I called Reg he said his son came out and measured. (I was home the whole time and did not see him. He then said he'd double check. He called back and told my husband that he had called a couple weeks ago and told us he had ordered the windows. That call was never made. He told us the day we signed that it would take 3 weeks to get the windows in and then 2 days for install. It was 6 weeks before he called at 8:30 pm the night before he wanted to start site work. We were headed on vacation. Had we gotten a little heads up we may have been able to be home when he initially wanted to be on site. When they arrived to install they had not ordered the windows I requested. Because I didn't want to wait any longer I let them install the windows that were not my preference. They used a saws-all to cut out my old windows that could have easily been removed with removing the screws. After placing the windows in they then proceeded to wrap my wood trim with vinyl. That is not something that was talked about and now my brown house trim doesn't go with the white vinyl trim around the windows. Now I'll have to paint the whole house to make the windows look good. That was not the plan. They ended the first day with not having all the vwindows. One of the windows they brought is too small. Supposedly Reg is bringing the window that is correct on day 2 so they can finish. We'll see.

We hired Home Genius to replace our siding and windows. While the quality of the finished work was…read moreok, the overall experience getting to that point was extremely frustrating. Our project began the week of June 8. We were initially told the siding would take about a week to complete and that the windows would be installed in one day once they arrived. Unfortunately, that timeline was never met. Shortly after the siding project started, we were told the crew had run out of materials. From there, the project was delayed multiple times. The windows arrived, and I took time off work for the scheduled installation and then received a call the night before saying the crew wouldn't be coming. We were given several new installation dates, but each one came and went without anyone showing up. Throughout the process, communication was disappointing. We often had to repeatedly call for updates, many calls went unanswered or to voicemail, and we were frequently given conflicting information. It felt like we had to chase someone down just to find out what was happening with our own project. Due to the conflicting information given, they agreed to put siding at the top of the front porch, however they did not. I have holes in the walls in the inside of my home where they put the nails in the siding, when I brought this to their attention, they said there was nothing they could do about it, that that was a common issue. Before I agreed to go with this company I was told they had insurance for any issues they caused but was then told the holes in the walls were something they would not fix. In the end, Home Genius did complete the siding and window installation almost 2 months later. However, the weeks of delays, missed commitments, lack of communication, and the inconvenience of having an unfinished home, made what should have been an exciting home improvement project far more stressful than it needed to be. I would not recommend this company to do any siding or window work based on my experience. Update to previous review I came home this morning to my siding falling off of my home. I have reached out to several people including the project manager, the sales rep, the project managers manager and the 800 number to let them know. I am highly disappointed, it has not been 30 days since the project was complete, and my siding is coming down.

In this home, from beginning to end, CPS did a great job on my roof. They replaced the roof in quick time with beautiful results. Roofing is a messy job and I still had the nails, the messy attic, and the broken flowers (from the tarps catching the old shingles). But overall, CPS was professional, kept the area tidy, and the end results look wonderful. No hidden upcharges or "found surprise problems" to deal with. A good honest company that did an outstanding job.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Window Nation…read more I had a representative come to my home to provide a quote for 8 windows. After the appointment, I decided to take a few days to do my due diligence and gather a couple of additional quotes before making a decision. Three days later, I received an email from the Sales Manager, Richard Hansen, with a revised quote. Surprisingly, the new price was significantly lower than the original quote, but it was for 11 windows instead of the 8 I actually needed. Since the pricing was much more competitive, I reached back out and simply asked for the same pricing to be adjusted for the 8 windows I wanted to purchase. Richard responded that the lower price had been sent in error due to a "system glitch" and that Window Nation would not honor it. Mistakes can happen, but what was most disappointing was the company's unwillingness to stand behind the quote they sent or make any effort to find a reasonable solution. As a customer who was genuinely interested in moving forward, it left me feeling that the pricing was inconsistent and that customer satisfaction wasn't a priority. I expected better communication and better customer service from a company of this size. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to take my business elsewhere.

The pre-installation process was straightforward and very helpful, giving me a clear understanding of what to expect. Unfortunately, installation day brought several complications. A team of three began installing 16 windows, but just 15 minutes in, one technician badly twisted an ankle and had to leave. The remaining two proceeded to remove all windows on a scorching 90+ degree day before starting replacements, turning my home into an uncomfortably hot and humid environment. While they finished the installation that day, it was an incredibly long shift, from just before 10 AM until 9 PM, requiring my continuous supervision. I noted that a drop cloth was only used for the very first window, which helped with the mess initially but wasn't continued. Another issue was the window color. I had specified a tan/wicker exterior with a white interior, but received entirely white windows. To avoid a 6-8 week delay and a $350 rescheduling fee, I accepted them. They do look good, and the white exterior matches my previous windows, so I'm not overly concerned about this. My primary outstanding concern is a gutter downspout that was removed during installation and never reinstalled. Despite multiple calls (three to the install team, two to the service team), I haven't received any communication or action to rectify this. This lack of follow-up so soon after installation makes me question the reliability of their warranty service.
