They did provide the name of this company that they were representing, as well as the address. My number is on the do not call list, and I have never done business with Best Roofing, or the Roofing Contractors Network. I would not recommend any business that partners with a cold call agency, especially when they do not bother to check the do not call registry. I can only hope that a negative review will cause the owners to reconsider using a cold call agency in the future. Recommendations and quality work should be enough to gain business, cold calls will drive it away.

After my friend's recommendation, I called Blue Fox Roofing to inquire about an estimate for a complete roof replacement. During our initial conversation, I informed him that the company that was already working on other projects on my property was fully expected to handle the roofing as well. When I called, he assured me that he could do a better job and even offered to include some extras if I chose his company. I mentioned the other company and that my insurance would cover the new roof. I provided him with the insurance company's price for all roofing-related work. He was fine with this and expressed his willingness to complete the job immediately. Since he was a professional roofer, he assured me that the job would be done correctly. I provided him with all the details that the insurance company had given me, and he reiterated that he was the right person for the job. However, during our conversation with Jay, my wife signed a contract with the other company without knowing that I was seeking this alternative bid. Consequently, I found myself under contract with the other company. Jay informed me that I had three days to cancel that contract, and if I did, he could start the job immediately. After having several conversations with my wife, I decided to cancel the first contract. The next morning, I called Jay and left a message stating that the previous contract had been canceled and that we were ready to proceed with his company. I asked him to let me know what steps we needed to take to set the job start date. I did not hear from Jay for over six hours when I called him again and explained that I was ready to move forward with his company. To my surprise, he responded that there was no reason to return my first call because the job did not pay enough for him to be interested in it. He even suggested that if I could convince the insurance company to increase its payment, he would call me back. I was shocked and felt betrayed. Now, without a roofer, I had burned the first bridge and foolishly believed in his lies and deceitfulness. Today, I am without a roof or roofer, but I am determined to find a solution. However, I will never work with companies like Blue Fox Roofing, NC. I wanted to warn others about the potential pitfalls they may encounter when dealing with this company.

Mike came to do the estimate the next morning. One day later, his crew came out to do the job. They were quick and efficient and the new gutter looks great. They even replaced the old curved connecting sections that the broken piece fit into so it looks extra sharp. The price is about what I expected to spend. Stacy, who answers phones and does scheduling, called to make sure I was satisfied before mailing out the invoice. This is a nice touch, because I'm used to paying contractors in cash at the completion of a job, whether I am satisfied or not.

Charles provided updates, with photos periodically as the work progressed throughout the day of the project, from tear off to new roof finish. Additionally, we contracted C&B to provide repairs and replacement to rotted portions of siding, fascia, soffit and garage door, along with painting this entire area. Charles and Celso were on hand during this project to answer any questions and take pictures as the work progressed. This work was done exceptionally well.
