So I had this system installed a couple of years ago... they advertise " clog free" gutters... WELL that's a lie. I have to pay someone to come and "unclog" my gutters... they just came two weeks ago and by the downspouts it was full of leaves and dirt,, I called Leaffilter when this first occurred but I was told I had to pay for a service call!!! and of course it was far more expensive than to call a handyman....so much for clog free... I would never do it again....and unless you still want to climb up to your gutters you shouldn't either! I rated a minus star! read more

Contacted LeafFilter from an ad seen on Facebook. Contacted them and got a schedule for a free estimate. Person came out took pictures of the entire home gutters. Then came in and showed the product. We explained that the Florida room gutters not draining correctly and we wanted this fixed and the rest of the gutters done due to birds nesting in them. Advised we could get 30% off if we signed today. Thought it was a good deal for having all the gutters done. Needless to say the sales representative wrote in the details only doing 28' of the gutters for $1,600 and stupid me initialed that section. When they came to do the work he only installed on the Florida room gutters. Come to find out the only reason the gutters were not draining was because the down spot was blocked. I asked is that all he's doing said yes. WTH even on their website says a 1,000 square foot home should cost approximately $1,500. I have requested 3 times for the sales manager to contact me and no return call. Do not let the sales representative distract you and be careful what you initial. BEWARE! Know what you are getting - expensive! BEWARE! I thought I was getting gutters with filters but all I got was gutters! Not worth the price for just gutters! I would have gone somewhere else. The salesman was misleading. Leaf "FILTER" means a filter system. The salesman told me all about the proprietary surgical material they use on the filter. When I complained he pointed out that he had written only "gutters" on the contract. He did me a "favor" because the filters are a "Cadillac" system costing twice as much. I think he knew I wouldn't have paid for that so sold me only gutters. Of course, I had no idea that Leaf "FILTER" made gutters without the filter. The gutters are superior materials and work well, but still, in hindsight, I would not have purchased them. I do not need a Cadillac on my normal average house. This company send me a coupon for 15% off for entires purchase and 5% off for the first 50 callers and guess what is a lie falsa advertising they give me the run around BS and at the end they charge me full amount with out the coupon they send in the mail so yes You leave & learn again an again in life. The agent was very knowledgeable and explained how and why everything worked. I had just spent a couple of hundred to have my gutters cleaned, which also revealed the source of some interior leaks - heavy rain runoff in certain spots with clogged gutters and shields to avoid a waterfall caused water to back up under the roof. More $$ to fix that. I intend to avoid all of that with this installation. The strengthening braces that they automatically install throughout the gutters made even more sense when I saw about three feet of my neighbor's new gutters bent open and sagging due to IAN. Don't think that it can be fixed, but will have to be replaced. read more

The crew, who did the installation, were truly amazing. The two, who were first to arrive, in the early afternoon, had to work by themselves, for quite a while. They never stopped or took a break. They removed the old gutters, got the new ones laid out, and just kept working to get everything installed. Later, more men finally arrived, just before dark, and they all worked together, even after it got dark, to see that everything was installed and that all the debris and tools were picked up. They were all so nice and courteous. When I checked everything, the next day, they had left almost nothing behind, and, in spite of a lot of overgrown vegetation, did no damage to either my house or garden areas. I am truly looking forward to having all the extra protection around my house, and not having to pay people to come out, to clean gutters, only to find they failed to do the job for which they were hired. read more
