They actually tried to say there were other spots along the railing that were banged up, which was actually just not-perfect staining over bumpy wood grain...not the same thing at all as the gauges left. When they offered to stain the railings, I declined, as I just wanted them out as soon as possible after feeling so hoodwinked and disrespected Also attached it a photo of a gutter that they had banged up early in their visit. Though they ended up using it where it couldn't be seen, which is fine, it is proof that there is carelessness involved in their work. Well we couldn't be happier with that decision. Bill came and gave us an estimate and hit the exact number I expected. His price was very fair. We arranged a date for the job. Bill showed up right on time and went right to work. Our job involved two different colors and walls in part were about 10 feet high. Bill did what is called cutting in which involves using a brush next to areas of a different color that we didn't want paint on. Cutting in takes an amazingly steady hand and Bill's painting talent became instantly apparent. Bill's cutting work was superb! He then went about applying the first of two coats of paint on each of the 4 walls. When it became time to apply the second coat Bill amazed me! He the cutting in technique on the entire room AGAIN! Most painters would not have taken the time to do that most time consuming process again. However Bill did it and the overall painting job was a masterpiece of work. I give my absolute highest rating to Bill for his work and work ethic. Keep in mind that Bill is not just a painter. He is a general contractor and would be willing to take on any job you might have.
