While in the area, I decided to workout in this gym instead of going across town to the one I…read morenormally go to. Plus it waa said to be new and good. Ita located in the circle area by Raw Juice. I could see parking to be a hassle as its tight. The gym is below apartments and surrounded by other shops. Once I walked in, I was greeted and as I am accustom to a norm of being provided with a towel or 2; I asked as I was provided and was told they dont provide them at this location. I then asked the direction of the locker room for women as this was my first time at this location. This is definitely new and updated compared to Reisterstown location but smaller then Padonia. I went to the locker room, changed out to gym fit and browsed the place to adjust for working out. Unfortunately, my brain didnt adjust well as thete arent towels nor mats. Its pretty small, and split level with stair master/treadmull and other machinery of the sort upstairs. The gym presented clean throughout as well as quiet. Im not sure if its due to it being 2pm. Needless to say, I did not workout as this gym is minimal with what Im use to receiving and wasnt prepared for this gym without the towels and mats I would probably only come if the others closed for whatever reason. So with that being said, I personally will continue wirking out at Reisterstown or Padonia locations.

So I recently quit my old gym and decided to sign up for Brick Bodies again. The facility is small…read morebut well maintained with a decently equipped weight room and tons of treadmills, stair masters, and ellipticals. One of my biggest complaints about my old gym was that it didn't have nearly enough treadmills for the size of the facility so I was often waiting for someone to leave at peak hours. This has never been an issue at Brick Bodies. I also love that the cycling room is typically open and available for use even if there's no class going on. The locker rooms are oftentimes clean and I love the lockers with built in locks -- no need to bring your own! I don't do any of the classes here anymore (mainly because I'm also a CorePower member and prefer their classes) but they offer a wide array for different skill levels. I took one barre class here but wasn't a fan of the instructor and the pace of the class wasn't intense enough for me. I would love to see towel service be introduced here. When I joined back in 2021 I thought the lack of towels was a Covid-era, thing but fast forward to 2026 and they still don't provide any. It's $50 a month ($25 every two weeks) making it a more affordable option compared to my previous gym.

Excellent instructors and a beautiful studio all set in a lovely part of the Roland Park…read moreneighborhood. Kristy and Jodie are amazing Pilates instructors and extremely welcoming to all skill levels. While I had taken several Pilates classes before, I had not used a Pilates reformer until first visiting Embody Pilates & Wellness in 2018 - I might have been the only one in my first class who had zero reformer experience. Instructing a class with a wide variety of experience can be challenging, but Kristy and Jodie do it with ease and seamlessly offer modifications to make each portion of the class accessible to anyone. Easily Baltimore's best!

I love this place! Had to update my previous review to talk about how awesome Kristy is. She…read moreteaches mat pilates, barre, and a mashup class (blend of barre/pilates). Kristy is AMAZING. I try to go to all the classes she teaches because not only is she kicking my butt and making me the strongest I've ever been, there's just something about her that is so soothing to my brain. She's always excited to see you and she is so encouraging during the workout. It will be the toughest workout but somehow she makes it not seem so bad. It helps that she is either doing the entire workout with you or demonstrating so you know exactly what to do. I can't sing her praises enough! Definitely go to her if you're new to barre (or a pro at barre!). I use the "mind body" app to schedule all my classes (or just go to their website).

I am currently in graduate school completing my Masters of Arts in Teaching (Secondary, Biology) so…read moreI will refrain from commenting on the program and academics. The Evergreen campus itself is small but also quite beautiful in the varying seasons. The admissions building is a beautiful Victorian style home surrounded by a big quad and varying buildings. The grounds seem to be well maintained. The athletic center with the pool (the FAC) is also kept up well. The biggest complaint I have as a commuter and a visitor is the parking. There is basically no on-campus parking. The visitor lot is expensive and small -- often times it is reserved for different athletic and academic events on campus. You can try nearby side streets but there are times when nobody is allowed to park there, which tend to coincide with the end of undergrad classes and the beginning of grad classes. There are shuttles to locations like the FAC and the cathedral of Mary, Our Queen, but the shuttle is slow and unreliable. The graduate campuses at Timonium and Columbia have huge parking lots with enough room for everyone. If you want to visit, invest in an Uber or be willing to circle around for a while to park. Or you can pay for the Jenkins visitor lot. Your choice!
