While in the area, I decided to workout in this gym instead of going across town to the one I normally go to. Plus it waa said to be new and good. Ita located in the circle area by Raw Juice. I could see parking to be a hassle as its tight. The gym is below apartments and surrounded by other shops. Once I walked in, I was greeted and as I am accustom to a norm of being provided with a towel or 2; I asked as I was provided and was told they dont provide them at this location. I then asked the direction of the locker room for women as this was my first time at this location. This is definitely new and updated compared to Reisterstown location but smaller then Padonia. I went to the locker room, changed out to gym fit and browsed the place to adjust for working out. Unfortunately, my brain didnt adjust well as thete arent towels nor mats. Its pretty small, and split level with stair master/treadmull and other machinery of the sort upstairs. The gym presented clean throughout as well as quiet. Im not sure if its due to it being 2pm. Needless to say, I did not workout as this gym is minimal with what Im use to receiving and wasnt prepared for this gym without the towels and mats I would probably only come if the others closed for whatever reason. So with that being said, I personally will continue wirking out at Reisterstown or Padonia locations. read more

So I recently quit my old gym and decided to sign up for Brick Bodies again. The facility is small but well maintained with a decently equipped weight room and tons of treadmills, stair masters, and ellipticals. One of my biggest complaints about my old gym was that it didn't have nearly enough treadmills for the size of the facility so I was often waiting for someone to leave at peak hours. This has never been an issue at Brick Bodies. I also love that the cycling room is typically open and available for use even if there's no class going on. The locker rooms are oftentimes clean and I love the lockers with built in locks -- no need to bring your own! I don't do any of the classes here anymore (mainly because I'm also a CorePower member and prefer their classes) but they offer a wide array for different skill levels. I took one barre class here but wasn't a fan of the instructor and the pace of the class wasn't intense enough for me. I would love to see towel service be introduced here. When I joined back in 2021 I thought the lack of towels was a Covid-era, thing but fast forward to 2026 and they still don't provide any. It's $50 a month ($25 every two weeks) making it a more affordable option compared to my previous gym. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with Brick Bodies. After I lost my job, I contacted them to cancel my membership because I could no longer afford it. I explained my financial hardship and that I was not using the gym. Instead of working with me, I was told that I could not cancel my contract and that the only way to end it was for the account to be sent to collections. At the time, I only owed approximately $80 and attempted to pay it. However, I was informed that the contract could not be terminated unless it went to collections. As a result, what started as a small balance has now turned into a $700 collection account on my credit report. This has negatively impacted my credit and caused unnecessary financial stress. I understand contracts are binding, but there should be reasonable hardship options when a member loses employment. I would not recommend this gym based on how this situation was handled. read more

Rude worker. This place ask you for every personal information with no prior information safety agreement. Why would a gym need to know my email, my phone number, my birthday, and my home address? And when I refused to provide information, the worker there treated me as I am some sort of moron as I provided my ID when I came in. I did not authorize them to extract any of those information from that, and there is for sure not my Email on it. I was only doing a one time visit to try the place out, but I don't believe it is anything worth going again. read more

I joined Brick Bodies a couple of months before the Covid lockdown. I stopped my membership a few months later when it was unclear when things would open up again. I liked the time that I was able to spend there and decided to consider rejoining a year or so later. I did not make up my mind right away,and later informed them that I was not interested in joining because of the placement of some equipment. This unleashed a relentless,still unending stream of sales harassment that has not stopped almost a year later. I get phone calls and messages still on a regular basis. I resent this pure harassment just to make sales. I made it clear that I was not rejoiniing the gym but this does not stop them. This is extremely annoying and a poor business practice. Because of this, I will not walk back into Brick Bodies. read more

I joined a few months ago and have been going regularly, taking classes, etc. I have had a mixed experience thus my 3 star rating. Here are the pros/cons in my opinion. Pros: Clean, well maintained, friendly staff/instructors The space is large and there is plenty of room/space out due to COVID There are a ton of cardio machines/equipment so you won't be waiting Class schedule has tons of options (but....see my cons re: classes below) The price is pretty reasonable Cons: My biggest complaint is about the group classes. Its all Les Mills classes and the instructors repeat the same workouts for several weeks (which is not challenging your muscles and is boring as hell). I have worked out in gyms where trainers create unique, challenging classes every week- which keeps its interesting and tough. The opposite of these classes. The instructors/classes are much more focused on choreography/staying on the beat rather than form/doing the exercises properly. This is how you get injured! Les Mills classes are quite cheesy and formulaic, and plays terrible music. Just goddamn awful remixes/covers! Other cons is no overhead fans in the cardio area (which makes it hard to run with a mask on) Towel service has not resumed and there are no handtowels in the bathroom Still trying to decide on this gym. Group classes are super important to me to get challenging and dynamic workouts so I hope management might be able to improve the class quality. read more

I joined Brick Bodies a few months ago, and I have been visiting regularly since to use the gym and for personal training. On every occasion, I've found the gym to be clean and not very crowded! It has a large cardio section upstairs (treadmills, ellipticals, stair steppers, etc.), which has plenty of machines - I've definitely belonged to gyms before where you had to fight to get a stair stepper or an elliptical during busy hours and that's never happened to me at Brick Bodies. They have pretty extensive weight lifting equipment downstairs, as well as a couple of rooms for classes. They have an app that is pretty useful - pull up your membership card to scan in, sign up for group classes, etc. I find the price reasonable for what they offer! We live right by this Hampden location, so we signed up for the lower level membership that doesn't get you into the other gyms. This works for us - but I will say that if you live a little in between - the other location has a pool! Overall, I've found it to be a really good gym and I'm glad we live so near it I can walk over. read more

10/10 great gym!! Perfect size with a full floor of cardio equipment. Great Group fitness class offerings, I love Tamara's 8 AM grit class. She's a fabulous instructor. The location is superb - a starbucks and pure raw right around the corner. The gym has 1:1 training as well as open house sessions where you can try the group training with any fitness coach. I especially love the turf area. Staff is amazing and the gym is a great place to be! read more

This location opened Maybe a month ago. It's in the back of the Rotunda by the Cinebistro. Some of the treadmills don't have the fan on them. There's about 3 shower stalls in the women's bathroom, as well as an open handicapped shower. Coffee/cappuccino maker behind the registration desk. They offer towel service. There are no daycare rooms for kids. I got there at 630a on a Sunday and the place was pretty empty. You have to download AppAudio to listen to the televisions as they are not connected to the machines. Clean. Bright but not too bright. Parking garage nearby which is free for 4 hours. Parking out front is free for 2 hours. You'll need to download the audioapp to listen to the tv's on your phone. Headphones don't work in the machines. read more

I've been a member going on 15 years. Brick Bodies Fitness Services has been offering outside classes which has been great because I don't feel safe going inside to sweat with others yet. However today I found out that if you miss a class that you were registered for and forget to cancel in their online system- THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 15$/CLASS THAT YOU DIDN'T COME TO. Or if you run late and forget to checkin afterwards. They are currently making notes in members accounts according to a desk employee at rotunda location. So if I take classes everyday and one day/week my family has some incident- my daughter is sick, dog ran away, my son threw up on the carpet etc and I have to be human and handle my family then I could end up paying 60$ extra that month and that is more than my actual multi-club membership. read more

I was in the area for work and did a search for local gyms when I found them. The staff there was super friendly and accommodating. It's important for me to be able to just go and train, without people trying to sell me, as I'm in sales and also a trainer; so I just want a day pass and to go on with getting my stress out. These folks seemed genuinely happy and understanding. I had my pass in 5mins and went on to enjoy the gym quite a bit. Locker rooms were clean and the lockers have built in locks that don't cost you anything to use, which is awesome. They have a lot of space, and it seems like not enough equipment to fill it at times...but you won't wait for anything and there's enough options to have a great workout. I came to this location after going to Lynne Brick's in Belvedere Square. This location is about a year old, and has much more space than Lynne Brick's, but I like both a lot for different reasons. Lynne Brick's has a more communal feel, whereas this one feels a bit more anonymous. Some days I want people to know my name, and some days I just wanna do my thing and go. This location has all newer equipment, including some machines I haven't seen before. Super tall ceilings, and great light. I come here if I know I'm going to be using more specific machines or want more space for a certain workout (this place has multiple squat racks, TRXs, resistance bands, rollers). I was there from 4:30-6:00 on a weekday and it didn't feel crowded at all. The locker room was crowded when I finished, but I'm assuming a class was about to start or something, and I didn't mind because everyone in there was havin' a good time. As far as the review about asinine corporate policies, I read it as having to give your card to the desk until you were finished with your workout and returned the towel. This is not the case. You just walk up and they scan your card (mine's on my key ring), and then they hand you a towel. I feel like that's pretty much standard procedure for most gyms? At my last gym you could grab as many towels as you want from where they were stacked, but that place also cost more than $100/month and they probably weren't super eco-friendly with all the washing. They have varying levels of membership, from $42/month upwards, which is stated clearly on their website. I always hate when it's super hard or shady to find pricing. There are year memberships or month-to-month, with with non-yearly having a higher sign-up fee. There is a special right now where the sign-up fee for yearly is like $6 (normally around $60), and the month-to-month sign-up is like $50 when it's normally $100. There's also a two-week grace period after signing up where you can cancel. For parking, the Rotunda has a garage basically attached to it which has 4-hour free parking on the upper levels, and 2-hour on the lower levels. Each hour after is $3. I've never had trouble finding a spot. Afterwards, I usually end up running over to Mom's Grocery or Starbucks or UPS, it's nice to be already parked somewhere ya have to take care of errands. read more

This review is long over due! The first individual I met when I joined BricK Bodies was Angela Ware, she impressed me from the start, but that was just the beginning. NOT only was she welcoming and professional but she made me feel that BB would be the right fit for my needs. Again, that was the first day, and even though she meets new people every day, anytime I came to the gym she greeted me by name. It wasn't until several months later that she really impressed me. Over a five week period I reported twice to the front desk, then twice to two different trainers that 2 of the hand sanitizers were inoperable and needed repair. Each time I was promised it would be addressed and each time they weren't. But when I informed Angela, the next day there were portable hand sanitizers available and soon after that the permanent ones were repaired! That's the difference between caring about your company and clients and just working at a job. Kudos to Angela! And a shout out to my trainer Chris who is exceptional at tailoring a program to one's individual needs, you too are an excellent ambassador for BB! read more

I've been a member of BB for years, primarily going to the downtown or Lynn bricks locations but after they closed I had to switch gears. I like this location, it has a modern, clean feel to it and all of the machines are quite new. I especially appreciate they have a variety of classes. I love the 30 minute spin classes as I also go to pure barre across the street and I'm able to fit in both. My one complaint is the lack of space in the locker rooms. There should be more benches to put stuff on, because sometimes I feel like I'm on top of people. Otherwise it has what most need in a gym! read more

Missing this place right now and hope they open soon. I was surprised to find a nice gym like this in Baltimore (I'm from the Midwest where quality of services is generally better). They have every type of cardio and weight training machine and device imaginable. The gym is always clean. The air is not stuffy like some gyms. It is surprisingly spacious. People seem friendly, just go about their business. I've never had to encounter any drama here. One big disappointment is the shower. The water just sprinkles on you--it's impossible to rinse off! It's also poorly designed, with nowhere to hang your stuff. Adding a few hooks could be a simple improvement... The reason I'm so down about the shower is because I need it before and after the sauna. I was sooo happy there was a sauna here as it feels great to end my workout session with sauna. However, using the shower is incredibly irritating--you can't use soap or shampoo as you cant rinse it off--so it ruins the experience. Also, the towels are not bath size, but more like hand towels. There also should be more cleaning towelettes rather than just one or two within a large room. Overall, I think this is a quality gym. I hope we can come back soon. read more

This gym is hands down one of the best gyms I've ever been to. I typically do powerlifting style training with machines for accessory work. This gym had nearly everything I needed for my current program. 4 platforms with squat rack for heavy barbell work. Upstairs cardio deck. Turf with sleds. Separate room for calisthenics and banded work. Tons of cable machines. My only complaint is that they don't have a glute-ham raise deck. I know one of the personal trainers there is trying to get one. I had to stop my membership cause I moved out but I really wish there were more gyms like this around the country. Additional, the locker room is very well kept. I've been to some nasty locker rooms so this was very refreshing. Staff is friendly as well. I've gotten great vibes from John who is one of the managers I believe? Personal trainers are also friendly as well. Even during the busy hours I didn't find myself waiting too long. You may have to wait for a few minutes for a deadlift platform/squat rack during the busy hours but nothing crazy. The members are always courteous and clean up after themselves. read more

This is my second review because brick bodies reached out to Yelp to remove my first review which was an honest opinion of their practice and biases. Manager is rude and harasses members who temporarily take down mask to breathe or wipe away sweat before putting it right back on. They also target certain people as was the case with myself when he kept sending the front desk people to check on me and were so focused on ME that they ignored the girl in front of me running for 45 mins with her mask completely pulled down around her neck. Now they attempt to silence members who speak out against their rude behavior. During these tough times, friendliness and politeness go a long way. I will also note that they never have paper towels in the bathroom and people have to congregate (non-socially distanced) around the hand dryer which is probably dispersing germs all over the bathroom. They should spend time cleaning the dirty bathroom instead of policing members. Thanks! read more

The gym is nice and clean. They have a large selection of weights, weight machines, and cardio. They have a small turf area. It hasn't been insanely crowded. The big problems with the gym is the corporate side of things. They will try to upsell you with everything. When you sign up you have to fill out a health form- okay fine. When I was filling it out, the sales rep (who has been mentioned in another post here) was telling me I need to come in as part of a health consultation to go over my form. I thought it was weird but figured it was a liability thing on their end so I made the appointment. The day of the appointment I had something come up so I called to cancel and they told me on the phone that it wasn't a health consultation but a personal training session I was signed up for. I was pretty mad for being mislead like that. They constantly call and email me to check on my membership and how i'm doing. Another thing, they charge 2x a month. But if you use a credit card for the billing, they charge an extra 2 dollars (or about 10 percent) to your payment. Never had a gym do that before. The gym hours are meh, week days are okay but on weekends they don't open early and close at 8. It'd be nice if they were with the times and open 24/7. read more

Excellent brand spanking new little gym!! Packs an amazing amount of equipment into a small space. Even has nice sauna, albeit if you can squeeze three people in it you are pushing! Very clean, very modern, seperate work out area for private trainers, classroom space, free good coffee!! Not as large as Padonia, no aquatics, if busy I could see shower wait an issue, all lockers half size but you can still hang a suit if pants folded. Nice set of Hoist machines- but only one, so if fixed pulley weights your thing may habe wait if busy. But just as many free weights and squat/deadlift frames and benches as Padonia. All cardio upstairs via actual steps- but if you are using it stairs should be no problem. All in all perfect clean fancy feeling spot for good work out. Garage is first 4 hours free too- i recommend parking there vs. cruising small busy lot. read more

I did personal training with Tony Kovacevich and he really helped me take my strength training to the next level. I decided not to join after my tour which is a shame. The place looks clean and modern but I'm a little stubborn. I'm accustomed to other gyms where you scan your own access card in and grab your own towel. This place forces you to completely hand over your access card, THEY scan you in...and you have to ASK for a towel. When I asked why they made you do that, they gave me some BS line about "so we can connect your face to your name." What a load of crap. When I asked why they force you to ask for a towel instead of just having them out for you to grab, they didn't have an answer. If you don't mind micro-managing and asinine corporate policies, then I'm sure you will love it there. read more

Great location for in the Hamden area. There is Mom's located around the corner, Starbucks, and Cinebistro is across from it, and other great eateries. They are in walking distance, don't have to move your car after working out. The gym is very clean. The customer service is great! I love there spin room. I have been to other brick bodies, compared to there spin room this spin room is awesome. The spin room here has three rows, that are actually rows you step up to each row. The bikes are awesome, "which I heard every brick bodies will be getting them soon". The locker room for the women are a little smaller. The changing rooms are similar to padonia, with a actual door, not curtain like at Lynn Brick. Cardio equipment is on the second level, and kettlebells, weights, are located on first level. The sauna room, to me is very small compared to other brick bodies. They also have a complimentary coffee, tea machine like at Padonia. There is a parking garage, and pull in spaces around. The parking garage is free up to 4 hours, street parking is for 2 hours. read more

So this review doesn't have anything to with the gym but with my interaction with someone by the name of Michael. I assume he is a sales consultant or something but he has a serious attitude problem. I am member and I have been called repeatedly or had emails sent to me by different sales rep about starting a membership. So when Michael called granted I was annoyed because their system should obviously show that I am a member. anyway when I told him I did not want to receive any sales calls he says to me with an attitude, "I can't stop the calls but I'll put you on our do not calls list and you won't receive any calls including billing calls". So basically if you want to be a member here be prepared to be bombarded with annoying sales and emails. read more
