Jennifer is friendly, professional, and quite creative. She asked me in advance what colors I wanted my little one to be in for the photoshoot. Nearly everything was set up upon arrival to her studio. This helped to expedite things. We loved her creative ideas on the different poses and decorations for our little ones. I never thought I would be doing a boudoir photo shoot but there I was responding to an ad in Instagram and booking for a session... I had a 15-min consultation appt to give me a rundown of what to expect and was given a date to schedule for the photo session. When I chose the appt date I didn't realize that I chose the following day after the consultation call and there I was yesterday in Downtown Vacaville ready to capture this empowering experience. I made it to the studio, waited for my appointment time, I had a few minutes to spare... and the rest is part of my self-love history. My boudoir photography session (I felt) was all about celebrating me-- beauty, confidence, and individuality. The experience was a first for me and the ladies made me feel comfortable, they made it fun, and they were so supportive overlooking all my imperfections where I was able to truly shine. I didn't have to think at all during the photo shoot... they guide you through the entire session. The session lasted about three hours. Thank you to Kristen who did my makeup and hair. Tameka was the awesome photographer and I believe it was Riley who was the lead over production who will be cleaning up the photos (editing process)? I apologize if I got it wrong. The receptionist are so nice and are really good at explaining everything from instructions on how to take good photos to prices. I noticed their was a chance they could've of got more money out of me but they helped me out with what I had planned and made the purchase cheaper. They are not all about the money. I can tell they love seeing families come in and kids leave with smiles and a happy santa memory. I really like they think about the parents too. They play kids movies so the kids don't have to be so bored waiting. The Santa is amazing and the most looking Santa I've seen. He talks to the kids and jokes with them and acts his part. Her style felt fresh and unconventional -- more documentary and journalistic than traditional -- and I especially loved her use of black and white photography, which was a big reason we chose her. The day started at our hotel, where she jumped between our separate rooms to capture my wife and me getting ready. Before she had even gotten to our rooms, she had already scouted the perfect location for our first look. The moment was absolutely incredible, and she handled everything; we didn't have to do a thing but follow her lead. That professional confidence continued at City Hall. She has a masterful familiarity with the building. She took full control of the shoot, guiding us as she told us exactly where to stand, how to pose, and where to move next so we could just relax and enjoy the moment. As a photographer myself, I really appreciated her confidence and professionalism. All we had to do was follow instructions and be present. She knows San Francisco City Hall inside and out -- the lighting, the angles, the timing, and the key locations that truly matter -- every shot felt deliberate and it showed. The technical skill here is top-notch-- the compositions were beautiful, the balance of each frame was spot-on, and her gorgeous color grading. We received around 300 images, and the quality is so consistent that I plan to print every last one of them in large format to ensure we have a permanent physical archive. When we received the final package, we were so touched -- she sent our photos on a beautiful USB drive along with printed images, some sweets, and other thoughtful details.
