They had lots to offer from korean to Japanese food. On your table, there is a grill to cook many of their raw meats and seafood. They also have marinated meats. We didn't try the grilled meats as I really didn't want cook my food this time. They do have a lot to offer for prepared foods. We tried almost everything but some of the food was kind of blah or too salty. The kimchi fried rice was dry. The veggie pancakes was pretty good. Their sushi roll were ok but not fresh. Soups were too salty. They even had pasta dishes were only ok. The fresh juices were good like their shakes. Many of the desserts were ok but I liked the tiramisu and gelato the best. Even their chocolate fountain just tasted like Hershey chocolate mix and didn't even taste good on the marshmallows, etc?! Not sure I would come back here again! The quality of food throughout Sambo Kojin's are quite consistent. What I really go to this branch for is the quality of service. I've always been asked if it's my first time when visiting. The waiters always take care to assist with sauces, offer to bring different dishes to the table, and be quick with the drink refills. Coming from a hospitality education, I really appreciate the decisions management has made to craft the experience while making smart financial decisions. Here are a few I'd like to highlight: Uni is available, but never after it's started to taste a little toooo fishy, and they keep it behind the bar so that it doesn't waste. The soy sauce isn't sitting on the table. Less waste. But, it's always readily available by the sushi with ample wasabe. The waiters offer to bring the tempura, soup, kamemeshi rice to your table. It saves the hassle of waiting for in-demand items at the same time "filling-up" hungry eaters with cost-friendly fare. For most people, buffets are as good as their value for money. Yeah, the one they serve in a little pot but damn, that rice is heavy on the tummy. The dessert area is a must visit after your meal, really, save room for dessert. Coated in a glaze of chili, which is equal parts sweet, salty, and spicy, I will agree that this is the best Korean Fried Chicken in the metro. Bonchon is now inedible to me. I cannot overstate the fact that the chicken is completely worth the price of admission, which, at P400 for a whole chicken, is really reasonable. It's more than enough for 4 hungry people, or to feed you for your dinner, midnight snack, and lunch the next day. Speaking from experience here.
