Receptionist/MA instructor/owner flipped me off during a lab once and cursed often. The Phlebotomy instructor would run out of supplies for labs and was condescending when you spoke with him but he did teach you what you needed to know. I've since got my MA license and in my second year of nursing school. I can still say I've never had a bad instructor besides the ones at this school. If SCC doesn't have a long wait list I'd suggest them first. Good luck!

However, the lack of professionalism and integrity from the staff was deeply disappointing. The front desk promised to follow up with me but disappeared for a week. After I sent an email to check in, she replied 10 days later and falsely claimed she had been making phone calls to me--which was a complete lie, as I had zero missed calls from them. When I pointed out this dishonesty, Instructor Peggy stepped in. Instead of taking accountability, addressing her staff's lie, or offering a basic apology, she coldly recited two lines of their refund policy and ignored the real issue. My disappointment has nothing to do with the money, but with the blatant lack of honesty, respect, and basic management accountability at this institution.

Their approach is built on the negative reinforcement model. You will hear no it is wrong at least ten times per class. Peggy was rarely there. When she did return she made corrections to what we had been taught while she was away. It is primarily run by two rude grandchildren who are clearly there for a paycheck. They preach empathy but don't exhibit it. Yesterday I find out it has been taken over. As well as the new owner is facing numerous complaints from students past and present. Glad to see a professional future for New Chapters without Peggy and her grandchildren involved.

She spoke of all her drama and sex life ,she talked for hours wasting our education hours that we paid over$1,000 for. she always was taking cigarettte breaks. she is unruly and looked so heavy and smelled. . she spoke about her gay tendencies and her democratic politics views constantly do not go to this school especially with a instructor like her. I have so many complaint about her from students. one student was devastated as she told me how Amy asked her if she was on drugs and alcohol. This school hirers trash for instructors. They also do not help place you in a job
