I checked myself out today after 1 of the 4 weeks completed. I read a lot of the reviews posted and can say my experience is not of that of these 1 star reviews. Now I would like to start off with all positive things. Pros: 1 food excellent 2 caring and sincere staff 3 targeted therapy taylored toward your unique trauma and situation. 4 safe and clean environment. 5 respect given to all needs and privacy within reason. 6 propper facilities and hygiene stuff. Cons: 1 carpet is old but commercial last forever (really didn't bother me) 2 mattress absolute garbage. Warn out and spring style. (Really did bother me but I'm kinda a mattress snob) 3 I felt cornered when I voiced that I wanted to leave, felt they just would not hear it. Continually pressuring me to stay, Which almost envoked violence (had to raise voice and get shitty and I don't like to). I was circled by 2 staff members and 2 patients and grilled for about 15 min on why I should stay. Now, I do not have a superiority complex. When you know your not in the right place you know. I own a home here in Tacoma, have things that I underestimated would run on auto pilot while I was away. I felt I could get the same amount of therapy and sleep in my bed with my dog through out patient. So I think more care should be taken at assessment when choosing if a patient is indeed in need of "IN" patient. I volunteered to do the live in, don't get me wrong. If more digging in to my living situation was done I feel we could have agreed on an outpatient formula which I am planning to start with them tommorow.(Will update review when I graduate that). One question I didn't get an answer to (but we all know the answer) was to my counselor, "Has there ever been one person over assessed and enter in patient therapy when outpatient was satisfactory?". Now I've ran businesses and I understand empty beds don't pay the bills. All and all this was a good experience. They let me go (when I got shitty and a lil loud which I later apologized for). Staff is very caring and related to my situation with empathy. I'm sober AF and staying that way. Thank you prosperity.

My counselor Becky was the sweetest most down to earth lady and I was so blessed to have her in my corner. The BHTs were so awesome and I felt truly supported by them. The food was great and is made with love by the lovely kitchen staff, Justin and Corbin. There was honestly only one staff that I had any type of issue with, and she was higher up the chain so I didn't have to see her every day. I made friendships that I hope will last a very long time. I'm at 48 days today, thanks to my incredible family and friends, and prosperity wellness center. Would recommend.

This place on 176th corner Meridian in Puyallup is only run by PT Aides or assistants. The only…read moreones who will give PT care are the aides. The real PT does not see patients! I was rear ended by a teenager who ran a red light and I had to be seen by a Physical Therapy and was sent to this place as recommended by my chiropractor, but the real licensed physical therapist is not here on a regular basis, most especially when I was assigned to him on specific dates the other week and last week! He did not give me care nor PT instructions! only PT aides and receptionist were available to see patients; that is my sad experience with this PT office. So, do NOT expect to be seen by a PT here for there is NONE! no one who will give you care who is a PT! The only ones who will help you are the PT aides, and it seems that I get NO relief from my back pain after two months of "physical therapy" (or pretend physical therapy) at this place. What a waste of time and money.

My sibling was sick, the previous doctor was clueless. According to my mom, Dr. Pearson was the only one who accurately diagnosed my sibling. Since becoming an adult, I've had to move on to the "big kid" world of medicine and have had a chance to realize that doctors like Dr. Pearson are hard to find. Dr. Pearson is extremely attentive. He spends the amount of time with you that is needed. He meticulously goes over all of your symptoms and checks all your vital signs. After discussing everything with you, he reads over his notes and sometimes your medical history. One of my favorite things about Dr. Pearson is that he is a fountain of knowledge. When I was younger, he and my mom would talk about various topics, like relevant medical studies or local issues. Now I get to be part of those discussions. Recently, I had an extremely painful sore throat that my regular clinic doctor hurriedly diagnosed. The treatment didn't seem to be working, and I was in a lot of pain, so I did the unthinkable: I made an appointment with my childhood pediatrician. So, yes, a woman in her late twenties went out of her way to see her childhood pediatrician. Why? I knew he would spend the amount of time with me needed and that he would find a good solution.

We found Dr Pearson/Rainier Pediatrics through our insurance company (top tier provider near our home). We should have done more digging before making an appointment from the hospital for our newborn. The office smelled of mold, was very dirty and dated. Dated is one thing, dirty in a pediatric office was concerning for us. One positive the doctor was nice and seemed caring. This wasn't for us.

We actually declined the last year of extended High School that was not helping and moved our child to Brightstar for all the allowable time we could. The results reaffirmed our choice in choosing 4 days a week with Brightstar instead of HS. They also have provided the last 2 years (insurance had to allow) Parent training so we could reinforce therapy at home. The people who work here are certified, caring and have passion for what they do. They are top therapists. Sending your child no matter if they are young or adult here is highly recommended. We love their therapists, they're so flexible and caring towards us. Everyone in that office is very kind and will greet you with a smile. Masks are no longer mandatory so that's helpful for the kiddos now when they're playing inside. So thankful we were able to find a therapy place that wasn't too far from their home.

We were recommended here by my sons feeding therapist & when she told us about this place she also…read morementioned that they continually overstep boundaries to keep an eye out and speak up. My son would begin meltdowns right when we walked in - we were eventually switched to a different time and therapist, it didnt help any. The owner & new therapist seen my son once a week, he wasnt allowed anywhere but one small room. The owner led the sessions. My son has HIGH sensory needs, autistic and nonverbal. the owner specifically constantly took activities away that he enjoyed to regulate himself with and forced puzzles & other things (why we dont know). Once we started bringing him here he started having major aggression issues at home and at school. she ( the owner) would restrain him with cushions and tell the therapist it was okay "because thats not really restraining him with the cushion in between" when hes screaming and fighting to be let go. at our last appointment she (the owner) did the restraining again, & then I physically watched her grab him, set him on her lap to force him to do a puzzle and when my son looked away i watched her actually stop herself from grabbing his head and physically turning it for him back to where she wanted him to look. To the point i said "dont even think about it". My son actually came home with marks from his last appointment there and that's why i never took him back. The 2 therapist that he seen before the owner got involved were actually really helpful and they really did try but you could tell that they were uncomfortable and out of their wheelhouse With high sensory need children. Since we have stopped taking him there his aggression issues have completely went away and he stopped having issues at school. I would not recommend this place to anybody. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Also they charged me $50 for canceling an appointment because my son did not sleep at all that night And had slept most of the day and they told me that we should just reschedule For a different time that day because the therapist could handle it. They don't have the kids best interest at heart and that's obvious.
