This daycare has no problem at all calling the parents to pick the kid up at the smallest of inconvenience for them. This means if my child is slightly fussy, sleepy, or cranky / maybe has a lower appetite we will get a call to pick them up without hesitation. This is unfortunately happening when our child does not show any temperature close to the call out temp which is 100.4 Right now we barely can work because both of us have had to call out so many times. I remember how he became sad when the weekends would arrived; he would ask me why the school had to close on the weekend. Honestly, if ICS were open on the weekends he would be there. I visited the Y in BTV in person and signed up. I had done a bit of research about personal…read moretraining and hoped to connect with a specific trainer. The two people at the front desk told me that I could choose. (I shared with them that this is the first time I'd ever considered joining a gym.) They said the trainer I had chosen would connect with me by email in a week or so. I paid for three sessions and a membership and awaited the email that never came. I reached out three times and finally someone got back to me. I responded to the email and it took a couple of weeks and another call from me to learn that you cannot choose your trainer, or maybe just this one... That took two months or more. I learned that trainer is highly sought after. Guess I just didn't fit the client profile or something. Anyway, I sort of lost my interest in joining a gym, widening my community, and getting some good fitness advice and support. I just gave up. A week after I canceled my membership I was talking to a women I know who is in her early 30's, I'm in my 50's. She told me that she just joined the Y and was there working out when a man approached her. She's lovely. After some conversation he told her he was a trainer at the Y and offered his services to her. Guess who that trainer was... Seems like he actually did have time. Do I ask for my $ back??
