From day one, we've felt genuinely welcomed and supported by the kind and dedicated staff. What I truly appreciate is the variety of enriching projects the children get to explore -- from hands-on science experiments to creative art activities, there's always something exciting that sparks curiosity and learning. The daily structure also includes plenty of outdoor play, which my daughter absolutely loves, and it's great to see her come home happy and energized. Another standout for us is the Spanish classes! As a native Spanish speaker, I really value that my daughter can reinforce her Spanish skills at school. It's a beautiful way to stay connected to our roots, and at the same time, it's a wonderful gift to introduce the richness of another language at such an early age. The teachers manage to weave learning into every part of the day with so much care and warmth, both in their interactions with the children and with us as parents. Global Village truly feels like a nurturing community where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We're so grateful to be part of it!

At first, I was really surprised to see a stained couch, not other friendly notes or things (live activity list, books, pictures, good notes etc) in the entrance and waiting area. There is a plastic/Glass wall on the side behind which the person sits to say Hi to you!!! The you walk in to an office room, equally disgusting and dull. Instead of showing me real kids doing stuff or just letting me ask stuff, they have a really long BOOK of photos from a time when kids did something and they captured (perhaps). Then the lady emphasized so much on potty training (FYI, it's not okay to force, you should be polite and offer good suggestions no press the requirement on a parent). Then we walked through the hallway, has like 4-6 class rooms may be, small playground, class rooms are messy and oddly structured. No diversity FYI! I don't know something about this school just made me want to walk away quickly vs other schools like stratford, primrose, quarry lane or even a home based daycare. It's like I would send another Mathilda here! It's pathetic, needs color, fun, smiles, diversity, cleaner rooms, cleaner entrance for sure, clean that white couch too please.. it looks like a prison! May be cheap but it's terrible to think I could send my kid here for the entire day

Over the years, they've both made so many friends and truly enjoyed coming to school every day. One thing that stands out the most is the teachers--every class has caring, responsible, and loving teachers who genuinely look out for the kids and support their growth. Academically, my older child learned a lot here. By the time she graduated, she was well ahead of what is typically expected in kindergarten, which really gave us confidence in the school's curriculum and teaching approach. We're very grateful for the positive, nurturing environment and highly recommend this preschool to any family looking for a strong start for their children.

What makes this school stand out is that both classes follow the same weekly theme, so even though the kids are at different levels, they come home excited to talk to each other about what they learned that day. The curriculum is thoughtful and the take-home work is surprisingly rich (honestly, even the adults learn something!). But what truly sets PBMP apart is the teachers. They don't just watch over the kids, they genuinely love them. Even after our kids moved up to new classrooms, their previous teachers still greet them warmly every time they see them in the hallway. We toured many schools before choosing PBMP, Montessori, church-based, traditional preschools, and nowhere else did we see this level of authentic warmth. I've visited schools where the classrooms were eerily quiet and the teachers looked disengaged. For 2 to 5 year olds, that kind of silence isn't calm, it's a red flag. I truly believe the culture here starts with Principal Lena. She's hands-on, always with the kids, and it's clear she handpicks teachers who share her heart for children. As parents, safety is always a top concern. The teachers send weekly photo updates, and if they ever notice even a small injury like a cut on the lip, they reach out immediately to check in. That level of care and communication has given us total peace of mind. Our older one is now graduating and heading to kindergarten, and I can't thank his teachers enough. He's always been a sensitive, high-needs child, and the patience and love they showed him made all the difference. We will truly miss this place.

To say Montessori School of Pleasanton changed our life is an understatement!…read more My kids both started at MSP starting age 2.5 in primary classrooms (2019-2025). Lucie was in Cedar and Rafa was with Ms Molly at Maple. Both kids had the absolute best foundational learning possible. They had a fantastic well rounded curriculum - everything from sewing work, writing in cursive, reading, math and lots of art and learning about the world. My kids were well prepared for elementary school (& ahead of the curve esp with kinder learning from MSP). Also, I loved having my 2.5 year olds with 5-6 years olds then becoming the older kids!! The kids learn so much from each other in this excellent model. I want to especially acknowledge and thank Ms. Molly. She is simply a gift to the universe with her demeanor. She is kind, caring, loving and has the right set of expectations for our children. I kept Rafael in Kinder year with her and it was one of the best years of our family life. He grew as a leader and took accountability for his work. He thrived under Ms. Molly's teaching. We are extremely grateful for MSP and all the staff for giving my children the best launch pad. Special mention to Ms.Sheila who teaches kids with immense patience and always has their back. Ms.Jinu, Ms.Sara, Ms.Kanika, Ms.Chamu and Ms.Richa have all been very attentive and very hands on in our child's learning journey. Our son started in the 2s class and stayed through the 5s class. Throughout his time there, we truly felt that his teachers cared about him, his growth, and his progress. We especially appreciated the consistency of having the same wonderful teachers in the classrooms over the years--it gave us such a sense of comfort and showed how dedicated the staff is to the school and the children. Our daughter, Penny, started in the youngest classroom at 1 1/2 and continued through the 2s class. This is the only school I actually had a bad experience. When you enter, every admin staff and teacher you greet is extremely friendly but don't assume that's what goes on when you're away. Our worst experience was when we were trying to move up our child from the 2's to the 3's class, They would not move him up because he wasn't potty trained even though he was very advanced for his age in every aspect. I've heard of many daycares requiring 4 year olds to be potty trained but not 3. And when we were transitioning and we were trying hard to potty trained and move him up to the 3 yo class (he was 3.5 and still in a class with kids who just turned 2!), he had small accident so instead of putting the extra diaper we kept on him, they put his pants on without an underwear for the rest of the day, as in "I told you so" message to me by the teacher/director. The director Vanessa was also abrasive and unkind about this whole transition process. Out of all the daycares in Pleasanton we've been to (The Child Day School, Global Village Montessori, St. Clare's, Sonshine preschool) this is the only one I tell my friends "don't do it".

Their care, dedication, and commitment to the children were truly amazing to witness. Before joining Beyond Montessori, I had never worked in a Montessori-based school. Through my experience there, I developed a deep appreciation for the Montessori philosophy and the way it supports children's independence, development, and learning. It was inspiring to see how thoughtfully the school implemented this approach in the classroom. One of the most rewarding parts of my experience was witnessing the children's growth. I saw children who arrived with limited English develop their language skills over time. With the support of the teachers and the learning environment, they were able to communicate more confidently in English and understand the language better. The teachers really take time to understand each child's personality and learning style, then create a plan that helps them grow in ways that feel natural. Because of that foundation, my kids entered public school confident, independent, and ready to learn. Even now, they still love coming back for the after-school program, which says a lot about how welcoming and inspiring this environment is. Our experience has been consistently positive over several years, for two very different children. She looks forward to Friday sharing day every single week, and she loves it so much that she sometimes asks to go to school on weekends just to play with her friends! Older infants is for children 12-18 months. The transition was so smooth! He slowly visited the older infants class and was able to get to know the teachers and the classroom before he formally started. This classroom is all about routine vs the infant class where everything is done off baby's cues and their personal/parent routine. Our son quickly adapted and thrived off having a set routine. The other big change is being able to go outside to the toddler playground which is separate from the older children. When our son transitioned he was unable to walk yet but quickly picked it up soon after moving classes. It's amazing how the teachers are able to do so much with such young toddlers.
