Our son has been a part of this montessori for over 2.5 years now and I cannot be more thankful to the director and all the teachers here. They genuinely helped him grow and learn in all his different phases through these two years. Huge shout out to Ms.Neeraja for always putting the kids first and looking out for their overall well being. We've had a wonderful experience with Learn And Play Montessori over the past almost two years. Both of my girls attend here, and we are very happy with the care, learning environment, and support from the staff. The teachers and staff are very friendly, caring, and attentive. My girls started their day care/school experience here. They've learned so much and come home with new songs, different ideas, the coolest projects - i.e. they made functioning windmills, hand puppets and cars. Transitioning from being with their parents all day to going to school hasn't been the easiest for my eldest but she always ends up having so much fun and then hates leaving. For my youngest Ms. Sheila, Ms. Nicole and Ms. Lina have been pivotal. When she sees them, she screams their names and has the biggest smile. Their genuine interest and care for our kids is more that apparent. For my eldest some of the current educators that has helped her transition to TK (also in the school, but in a much bigger classroom and with a different curriculum) include Ms. Jinu and Ms. Kanika. This is a truly wonderful school that addresses the full child. Within a week of my son starting he was pushing in chairs, cleaning up after himself, saying good morning to his teachers, and learning so much! He's been at learn and play for almost 2 years now and we are so impressed with all he's learned. Miss Kanika is truly a wonderful educator, she meets the children where they're at. For my son, she writes personalized comprehension pages and has taught him advanced instruction such as multiplication, division, and even parts of speech. My son started attending LAPMS at the beginning of the year and we have seen him flourish in his social, language, and academic skills. We are so happy that we found a place that has been amazing from day one. Ms. Sheila has been so great and we are thankful for her patience as he adjusted from only being with his parents to a classroom setting. We absolutely love this school! My child has always been very cautious with getting to know people, and especially letting them into her "circle". For example, she's still cautious with talking to or hugging our friends. At this school, all of the teachers are so kind to her and are so patient with her cautious little ways. She sometimes even runs up to hug teachers. She comes home with fun stories to tell and it's clear that she learns so much from everyone there. Each day we're in awe of the new things she's learning. At 2.5 years old, she's counting to ten and singing most of the ABCs correctly. It's astonishing. We had her on a waitlist for another school, which we originally thought would be better. When the other school had a spot open, my husband and I very easily said, that we love this school and wouldn't have her go anywhere else. My son just turned 2, so I was looking for a Montessori School for him. I toured a few schools and ultimately chose Learn and Pay Montessori School - Silvergate. I scheduled a tour and was greeted by Ms. Neeraja. The tour allowed me to observe the different classrooms and teacher/child interactions. She did an excellent job at answering all my questions. The enrollment process was smooth. My son had a difficult transition from staying at home with me to full time M-F 9am-5pm, which was expected. The teachers at LAPMS were superstars and were very supportive and patient with the transition. He improved day by day and felt comfortable attending LAPMS. Communication with LAPMS was seamless and they kept me updated about his daily progress. I also had the opportunity to call them during the day if I had any questions or concerns. We have been sending our Daughter to this Montissory since a year now and we have had a great experience overall. Our daughter loves going to the school from day 1 and she has made a lot of good friends for life. Ms. Neeraja and all teachers are extremely sweet and great listeners. Not the best montessori and avoid if possible: This feedback is from our experience and 3-4 parents had similar feedback. Problems: 1. There is only 1 teacher who can teach well and 3-4 supporting staff does not support much. 2. Kids pick up bad accent and its hard to correct. Its due to teachers. 3. I can't say enough positive things about our experience at LAPM. It has truly been a game-changer for our child's education and development. Our daughter started attending the Silvergate location in January and moved to this location in August. She has continued to thrive due to the hard work of dedicated and passionate staff. I believe that they truly try to understand each child's unique needs and interests and tailor their approach to ensure that every student is receiving the attention they need. They take the time to answer any questions. Ms. Alondra is very caring and kind! A few weeks ago, I stopped by Ms. Kathy's office to ask her a question about the curriculum. She stopped everything that she was doing and took her time to give me the most detailed and articulated answer. She walked me through some of their stations and explained the concept behind the lessons. It was extremely informative. Above all, I was really impressed with her professionalism. Our daughter started at Learn & Play Montessori when she turned three years old., in the middle of the pandemic (July 2020) when they had only eight children enrolled in the entire school. At that time they only had virtual tours, but we felt comfortable sending her to LAPMS because of their safety practices and the Montessori curriculum. After two years, my daughter graduated from pre-K at LAPMS. She has gained so much confidence, learned so many life skills, improved academically in math, writing and critical thinking. Update 2-12-2019: I added one more star because the regional director contacted me directly to discuss about my daughter. That at least shows they are willing to communicate and resolve problems. Original 2-11-2019: I have put my two kids here for 4 months now. Experience has been good until recently my daughter started potty training. Ever since I put undies on her, she refused to use diaper anymore. And she's able to keep her undies dry at home for two weeks. She's definitely on the righy track for potty training. But learn and play doesn't want her to wear underwear to school because she is not asking to go potty and has too many accidents. I mean, who doesn't have accidents when potty training?! And who would speak out right away at the early stage of potty training?! So at this point, my feeling is they do not want to potty train the kids while they charge extra $100 for potty training. My daughter stays in daycare 8 hours a day, and I have no idea how long it would take her to be potty trained. I am currently in communication with management to try to resolve this issue. read more

Our 2 kids have been coming here for 7 months now. We love the homely atmosphere. And how all the teachers know all the students by name. It makes you feel like you're part of a big family. Their program and structure provides a conducive atmosphere for learning. Kids are encouraged to be independent and have discipline to choose their work and finish them, respectively. The tuition is very reasonable. Kids get morning and afternoon snacks along with lunch. They provide vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. We are not vegetarians. But I like how our kids have learned to eat veggie salad. I hope they eventually have a Chinese language introduced to their program. I would love our kids to learn Mandarin as a second language. read more

LAPMS Dublin is a great preschool to start your little ones at. I have both my kids (3y/o son and 2y/o daughter) enrolled and I can just see how happy they are when I pick them up from school. The teachers are affectionate and caring, and always informs me at pick-up how the kids day went (did they nap? eat well? being good? etc.). I'm a mom that worries often and this process provides reassurance that the school is a safe place and that my babies are truly be cared for. Another thing, they serve hot lunches! Which saves me A LOT of time and thinking as a working mom. We and our 4 year old love LAPMS Dublin. Miss Neeraja has been great to work with from the first time we went to visit the facility and has always been prompt and helpful every time we reach out to her to talk about our kid. The facility is clean, well organized and well run. They do a great job of teaching a good mix of Math, language and other skills. Everyone from Miss Chelsea at the front desk to all the wonderful teachers that take care of her all day have been courteous and amazing to work with. I had a great experience at LAPM Dublin. My son loved it from day 1, and would cry any day he didn't get to go to the school, even weekends :) The teachers have been very helpful, and helped my son to pick up on speech, where he was a bit delayed. He speaks quite well now, thanks to LAPM and he is ready for Kindergarden. The other part I loved about LAPM, was how they handled the COVID pandemic and closed school when required. Even after they opened up, I had no issues sending my kid, as they maintained all the COVID guidelines. I would highly recommend LAPM to all parents. read more

We enrolled my 4 year old daughter last November. She came from an in-home daycare and adjusted quickly. I was so anxious to move her to a preschool, but everyone welcomed her with open arms! The curriculum is fantastic and the teachers are great! I always had confidence in the care and teaching she received. The facility is secure and clean! In 10 months, she has learned math (addition and subtraction) and has started to learn how to recognize sight words and sound out letters for reading. She always brings home creative art and sings new songs she has learned. She has also made great friends! My daughter joined LAPMS in January 2018. She started saying numbers, letters, singing songs and surprisingly helping her mom. I should really appreciate LAPMS for their time and effort each. Each faculty (Espc the Director Ms Neeraja) treat the kids as their own and give necessay caring. She is very interested in going to LAPMS.
