My friend and I prepped ourselves by grabbing a light happy hour to warm ourselves up for the unexpected. We arrive and the owner, Melanie is all smiles and was incredibly inviting and welcoming to make us feel comfortable. Usually Wednesday classes are quite full but there were only a handful of us so we were both front and center. She slowly taught us the basics as we warmed our hips up for the hour long class. What an awesome experience and the instructor was hilarious but informative. I look forward to trying more classes! It's a good idea to check the website for classes because they offer so much more than basic Bellydance classes. Your hips won't regret it:)

The most basic class is called "Break Down" where the instructor will literally break down the moves of a specific routine. At the Orlando location, Elisa and Renee are musical dance geniuses. Both are accomplished dancers and will totally rock your world with TONS of self-made routines. I have only taken classes from Elisa and Renee, but I know there are a few other great instructors that teach the classes as well. The dances are set to current, catchy and just plain 'ol freaking awesome jams. I'm not lying that it feels like you are IN DA CLUBBBB when the music starts pumping. The classes literally fly by! There are some amazing things about this theatre space…read more I love the way the doors can slide open so on nice Orlando nights it's like an open air entrance. I love how beautiful the stairwell is going up to two. I love how much they have expanded their food and beverage line up over the years. The sound tends to be pretty good, the communication from the theatre is always amazing. They waive fees if you come to the box office to buy your tickets. The seats are comfy and almost every seat has a solid view. The box seats are the exception so be warned. The volunteers are always amazing and they are so nice. It would be cool if they opened a second location that served coffee because that line for espresso beverages is always really long. I love the breadth of show types. There's always something for everyone.

Wednesday, March 18, 2026…read more Front Row, Center Tickets to Ms. Diana Ross' Concert Performance I've been to numerous events at the Dr. Phillips Center but nothing beats having the opportunity to see a legend perform within arms-length to where you're seated. And when that "Icon of Icons" is none other than Ms. Diana Ross...well, nothing else need be said. It was a dream come true to say the least. In my most previous update of the Dr. Phillips Center I indicated meeting with and having my photograph taken with the incredible soprano Sarah Brightman was an entertainment highlight of 2025. 2026 has just begun but I will have to use the superlative "spectacular" once again. As in a spectacular show from start to finish. Diana Ross may be 81 years old!...but she still has the voice and ahem...the moves of a much younger performer. Just think of this, she was performing with the Supremes in the 1960's. I wasn't even born and by the time I was she had 12 number one singles with the OG of girl groups! And she is still working it to this day. Ms. Ross sung a multitude of her hits which kept the crowd, and my sister and I, dancing and singing throughout the evening. However, when she started to belt out Gloria Gaynor's anthem "I Will Survive" that really got the audience out of their seats. An Icon singing and Iconic piece of music is an experience second to none. Ms. Ross, you and your mark on music history is unmatched...blessings to you and your family!

We have been bringing our daughter to ballet/tap class for a couple of months now and love it…read more Because of her age when she started, we had the option of trying Parent & me class and ballet/tap since we were mostly interested in ballet. Daughter loved ballet/tap and we enrolled her. So far we are very happy with the classes and how structured everything seems, even for the youngest dancers. Studio is always a text message away and they send several emails during the week to keep us updated with any changes. I have to add that studio takes feedback well and are always eager to help. They are also very strict with how classes go which I appreciate since toddlers need that structure and strictness. My daughter loves her classes and looks forward to each one. Looking forward to a year of more dancing for our little one!

I've never found a musical theater dance class so I planned to take the Tuesday one with Alyssa if I recall her name correctly. We did a song from Princess and the Frog. I have a newfound inspiration I didn't even know it was a thing until Orlando's very own musical theater dance classes! It was awesome. Packed class. Front desk had good customer service. They even record and upload their dances to their yt channel, something I do for my own yt channel for dance covers I do. Keep up the great work!!
