Thanks to Ms. Chandra, our daughter adapted within 2 weeks of starting daycare. She also did not speak English before starting daycare but now she has no trouble communicating in English with Ms. Chandra and her friends. She has learned all the alphabets, can count in English and Spanish and knows so many rhymes. She can even spell her name, which is pretty amazing for her age. She brings artwork from the daycare almost every day and we have noticed her drawing and coloring skills have improved significantly. Now she is learning to write the alphabets and numbers. We are amazed by Ms. Chandra's passion, energy and ability to care for 8 kids all by herself. Ms. Chandra also provides 3 vegetarian meals each day, which our daughter likes to eat. We feel very lucky to have found Ms. Chandra and cannot thank her enough.

It took some time for my daughter to get used to it, but once she did, she was on a roll. I have had past experiences with childcare, but Alem daycare supersedes that experience by far. It's a lovely environment with indoor and outdoor play areas. Since having my child there, I have noticed a significant improvement in their communication skills, socialization, potty-training and overall development. I'm very pleased I found such an impressive and valuable place to have my child with a trusty-worthy, experienced and welcoming caregiver. She's a great preschool teacher and I recommend 11/10.

I have sent my children there since they were 4 months old and it is the best decision I have ever made. Finally, Shelly really loves the kids. She treats them as if they are her own. If you are a first time parent, she will even coach you through some of the new things like how to handle diaper rash and/or ways to help them learn at home. The children don't just run around all day not learning anything. Each class has a curriculum that caters to the development milestones of that age. They provide meals, which I like, and also do potty training. Another bonus is every quarter, they have parent-teacher conferences, which allows you to learn what your child is doing and where he/she can improve. Now, every childcare center is not perfect and I know that searching for childcare for a child is hard (and sometimes frustrating)...but I think you will like Kindercare. It's worth the cost. My son has great social skills, a strong vocabulary, and is learning to read/write. I love Kindercare!

Come to find out, The Young School keeps your info on file indefinitely even if you never tour or enroll your child. I inquired years ago when my middle child who is now 9 was one. They had no openings then. This means that they have had my info lying dormant for 8 years which I signed nothing agreeing to. I've gotten married, changed my name and had another baby since. None of this would have been an issue if the rep didn't respond in a suspicious tone when I provided my name. Instead of saying, "hey, I see you may have inquired about our center in the past, have you had a name change or gotten married?' It was more of a tone that conveyed suspicion. Just a weird interaction altogether. When I brought it to the attention of the rep she began to raise her voice and ask for even MORE personally identifying information. Lady I just want to know if you have any openings to start! May be a nice center maybe not, I would never know thanks to this initial interaction.

They canceled a virtual tour of their facility twice. Also, Jessica Trail - the head of the school - takes too long to respond to emails. I figure they're not going to miss our business since they seem to have a long waitlist (this is just conjecture since I can't really get any solid information). Be that as it may, I still think it's reasonable as a prospective patron to expect follow-through and timely responsiveness (meaning no more than two business days). In the interest of fairness, I must add that Jamie Sultz (admissions?) has been quite lovely to speak with.

My daughter started at Celebree @ Laurel when it first opened in January of 2022. I was drawn to…read morethe clean, organized, and newness of the building and community. Since the Laurel location is off Highway 200, it was a good fit for me (to commute) and for her (being new to daycare life). I have been happy with the sense of community Laurel brings. My daughter's teachers from the toddler's room still help and assist her as she transitioned from the toddler's room to the 2A and 2B rooms. The staff is highly supportive and positive and everyone pitches in to help when she is having temper tantrums or experiencing bad days.
