After searching briefly, he admitted they couldn't find them and asked me to wait while they continued looking. I waited for an hour and a half while they assisted numerous other customers before it became clear they had lost my shoes. The issue wasn't simply that my shoes were misplaced--mistakes can happen. It was the complete lack of accountability and customer service. Rather than apologizing, offering a refund, discussing reimbursement, or presenting any reasonable solution, I was met with excuses, shifting explanations about their turnaround time, and an attitude that suggested I was the inconvenience. The owner ultimately told me he wasn't going to continue discussing the matter because he needed to help other customers. A business entrusted with customers' property should have procedures in place for situations like this. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and working toward a resolution, they refused to take responsibility for losing property that I had already paid them to repair. I've worked with shoe repair businesses for years and have never experienced anything like this. Losing a customer's property is bad enough; refusing to accept responsibility or make any effort to resolve the situation is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would never recommend this business. If something goes wrong with your property, don't expect accountability, professionalism, or a fair resolution.
