I bought a leather sectional about two years ago for a hefty chunk of change and felt it was a good investment because it was leather, a dark color and my toe small dogs and older cat never damaged furniture in the past. However, I adopted a 4-week old kitten last September and she scratched it up in several areas as she launched off on her many adventures. My small dogs developed a bad habit of licking the leather, which caused the dark blue color to fade to white in certain areas and became a real eye sore. I was sure the sectional would be trashed in a short time if I didn't get it cleaned, repaired, and reconditioned. I was nervous that it was going to be very expensive and not have the results I was hoping for. Leather Medic to the rescue! They did an amazing job of repairing the scratches, touching up the fading, a thorough cleaning, and reconditioning. They have patents for their cleaning and conditioning products. It was not an easy task to say the least considering the color was really a two-toned. However, the technician was extremely professional and clearly showed he knew what he was doing and took pride in his craftsmanship. He explained how they mix the colors to match as closely as possible and not show clear signs that the damaged areas were repaired. It was a 5-hr job and it turned out better than expected. I was blown away. It was the best money spent and my sectional looks almost as if I just bought it. They are amazing and know what they are doing. It's nice to know they take pride in what they do. I highly recommend them if you have any leather furniture restoration or repair needs. While I didn't take a photo of the after effect, trust me. it looks as good as new. Martin was prompt in response, paid attention to details getting as close a match as possible in fixing a small tear in my cars center council. His fix saved close to a $1,000 quoted at dealership! We had a sofa and chair that was covered in mold from being in storage, we called leather medic and they returned our call to make an appointment the same day. We scheduled it a few days later and Brett meet us at the storage unit and had the work done in a very reasonable time. He was professional and did a great job. The appointment setup went without a snag. Arthur was on time for the house call and I am very appreciative of the recommendations he gave. Had two pieces for him to look at. The first was an older sofa which he said was bonded leather. Told us it wasn't worthwhile to repair this. Just use it for a few more years and replace it. Second was a brand new sectional which we thought had a small tear. Arthur found out it was actually a residue that had flaked off, giving the impression of a tear, which he was able to quickly fix. My couch had a place on it that looked as if someone had shaved the top layer off. I told my husband there was no way they could repair this, but ok I would give it a chance. I'm really glad I did. Arthur, the technician, was wonderful. He was running a wee bit late and contacted us a half hour before to apologize he was running late, but would be at our home at such and such a time. He arrived, took his shoes off(!) which I loved, and proceeded to explain the process of how he could fix it. Still skeptical, I said go for it. He fixed the spot, explaining everything he was doing and repaired the spot. It's gone. You would have no idea I had a bad area on the couch at all. Arthur was a delight to work with, very enthusiastic about his profession and enjoyed telling us what he was doing and how it was going to work, which my husband and I enjoyed. I was so happy when Leather Medic Paul did the original repair to our leather couch cushions in 11/15! Over a very short period of time the repair did not hold up, Paul left the company and Candy graciously repaired his repair which also did not hold up. I also paid $715.00 plus tax for this repair of two couch cushions. I called the Corporate Office in Lehigh Acres, emailed pictures to the company and proceeded to receive multiple back and forth emails. The invoice was founded dated 11/15 with a one year warranty. The problem was not only that the first repair wasn't done correctly but the second repair also. Chade Life the president emailed me that "since the repair was done over a year ago nothing further would be done". I called him and was told he was on a conference call, left my phone number for a return phone call and never received one. I will never ever use this company again and will also tell everyone I know never to use this company. Stay away, stay far far away.... read more

Was so surprised Martin was able to start the process of removing unsightly stains caused by sunscreen on our leather sofa recliner! We had purchased an extended warrantee from (what we thought was) a reputable furniture store and they said this was not a covered problem. He thoroughly explained the process and, while it will take some time to be fully resolved, we are well on our way to what I expect will be a satisfying result! Worst customer service ever! An appointment was made by Chade (the owner of Leather Medic in Ft. Myers) yesterday with my client, (who indicated that it took ages to receive a response from him). She sent me his email correspondence, indicating that an appointment was made for today at 10:00. I went to her home and waited until 10:20 before I called Leather Medic. When transferred to Chade, he indicated that he thought it was a different day - he literally emailed my client yesterday with today's appointment. When I read his email to him over the phone, he said he couldn't make it and would it be convenient another day. I indicated it was not and he said " then find someone else" and hung up on me. I recommended this company to my client, as they had done work for me in the past - apparently there must be a new owner, as this behaviour was not indicative of my previous experience- STAY AWAY FROM LEATHER MEDIC! read more
