She passive aggressively left a note on my car and claimed it wasn't her. Came into the neighboring store, yelled at us, then complained to the store owner, in front of us, as we were approaching the counter to pay for our items and leave. I asked her to stop harassing us and she just kept yelling at us, hysterically insisting we had been inside for FIFTEEN MINUTES while our dog was outside. It was 64 degrees out. The windows were open. The dog was not going to die. This crazy person verbally assaulted us, so we decided to spend our money elsewhere. I feel bad for her neighbors. She literally chased at least $100 out of her neighbor's store and it didn't appear to be the first time.

I asked for them to get them done as soon a possible without having to pay a rush fee, since this is a safety issue (they're my only pair of armored riding boots). Brought them in because their tread was almost completely fine and I was spying on rocks/ gravel a little. Price was kind of high, but they look great and it's way cheaper than buying a new pair! *I had to buy these boots years ago because they were the only vegan ones I could find. Track boots aren't supposed to have much tread so your foot doesn't get pulled off the peg dangerously. However, I ride a cruiser and only do street riding, so some tread is fine.

But-of course there is a but, they are extremely slow at doing the great job!!! 4-5 weeks on a more intense repair, ie shoe build up! And the kicker is - you pay up front! Before you see the job that is done, or you can't pick them up for a month or more. This is the only problem. There is not another cobbler choice in Eugene!! I have read that someone calls and needs an emergency heel or strap replaced-I am happy for them. A different tech does those repairs, than my extensive build up. I must tell you that they are very good! In fact when I moved to Texas for a while I UPS'd my shoes to them! So, I must adjust to their schedule!! If you can-you be extremely satisfied!!!

When he left the desk to go into the back room of the store, I said to a (masked) employee that I'd noticed the owner wasn't wearing a mask and then asked after the business's COVID-safety practices. She went to the back of the store to let the owner know of my concern. His response--which I could hear from the main area of the store--was "did you tell her how old I am?" The employee came back out and dismissed my concerns, saying that the owner "has a face shield he wears sometimes." I let her know I would be taking my business elsewhere. Regardless of whether the owner indeed has a legitimate reason not to wear a mask, I find it concerning that this business would be so quick to dismiss a question about basic COVID-safety practices.

Couldn't leave the boots. The people were very cordial and understanding. They took my boots, asked me to come back in one hour. Upon returning, there were my boots, new heels, freshly cleaned, ready to go. Very reasonable price from people willing to go the distance. A very pleasant experience, would recommend them highly. They gave me two options and I chose to have them build some nice leather stacked heels to completely replace my former heels. I am amazed at what a great job they did! The heels are perfectly balanced and I am so happy knowing they will probably last for years to come. I've had shoes repaired in the biggest cities on the West Coast and none have done such a nice job. They also sell homegrown organic eggs, which are super colorful and the yolk is that yummy dark orange. They are now my egg source, too. Thank you!

This place if I were to describe it in one word it would be "classy" You're going to love the way you feel is an understatement.
