I made the decision to put my condo on the market . I remembered that I had read an article in my local paper about a condo that was sold by Leatherman Homes. I was impressed . I reached out to a friend who knows Kevin. Kevin came to my home days later and blew me away! He knows his stuff !! He promised that my condo would be sold in a month. A few days later , his partner Jacqueline "Jackie" came to my home. Jackie is the best!! She knows her stuff as well! She has been so good to us and very informative. End of story ..... my condo went into contract less than two weeks after the third day of showings! They are a great team !! They will work hard to get you what you want ! This realtor will spam you as soon as you contact them. Not only do multiple texts and emails come in asking you to call them to chat, but they will also add you to several email lists. Speaking to them via phone is a joke. They don't do what they say they will do. They also insist you use their two search programs which are garbage. Lastly they immediately connect you to a mortgage person before you even speak one word to them. Stay far away from this business. read more

So this company seems to be offering fake units on zillow, wasn't sure why until my second round with "sky" an associate at Leatherman homes contacted me for the second time and made it pretty clear that they were more interested in trying to sell my current unit and get me a mortgage than show me the unit I was interested in, the first conversation actually ended when I said I would be paying in cash. Now I'm not sure what they have to gain but as far as being a realtor I don't believe they have any listings they just seem to be interested in getting you set up with a loan or something. Long story but worth the read for potential buyers if he is the listing agent. I found the property on Zillow, and contacted right away. I assumed I was getting a real estate agent like zillow normally assigns you. However, Unbeknownst to me I was assigned the listing agent Letherman Homes- Kevin Letherman. He sent one of his interns to Show me the property, and said intern knew nothing about it and was basically mortified by how it looked. I put an offer in with Kevin Leatherman, who never put it in writing And was only taking my offers via text. This startled me, And I made him know that. He belittled me and told me that a verbal offer was just as good as written. He told me I don't know what I'm talking about, he teaches real estate and I am wrong. The seller dropped the price of the house which I could see on Zillow and Trulia. I came back with an even better offer... Which Kevin Leatherman took two weeks to give me a counter. I no longer felt comfortable dealing with him and reached out to a real estate agent with my best interest in mind. Kevin Leatherman received that offer and basically lost his mind. He told me that he wasn't acknowledging it because I went behind his back, Although I have been voicing my concerns to him about having nothing in writing since the beginning. I felt that he was not even presenting the offer to the seller. Kevin Leatherman then told me that the seller was going with a cash buyer and that they appreciated my offer but they declined. I asked for an acknowledgment of offer, to which he sent me an unsigned document. Two weeks later I brought it to his attention that the property was still on the market and I still have not received an acknowledgment of offer... He immediately sent one via screenshot dated the date and time that I again asked. He then told me the property would be off the market in 24 hours... more than 24 hours later the property is still for sale. I'm not sure what to believe here, He blows me off the phone completely and only get in touch with me via text. He made me feel stupid every second of this process And was never helpful. In my experience I was suggest Making sure you are not dealing directly with him. I absolutely love the property and I'm really upset that I didn't get the opportunity for my offer to be considered. We were contacted by them through Realtor.com after we requested to view a home. At first they seemed helpful, but then almost immediately they asked us if we were pre-approved and that we should be pre-approved before looking at the home. We are a young couple, but we aren't stupid, nor are we looking just for the heck of it. It made me very uncomfortable. Seconds after we had told them that we'd like to see the house before putting a hard check on our credit, we were told the seller of the house accepted an offer. But we could still view the property. After some consulting between my boyfriend and I, we decided "why not". When we told them we'd still like to view the property we were still being asked for our previous pre-approval records, on top of being told how much flood insurance was. They repeated themselves until I responded. Between continuing to ask us for pre-approval records and telling us how much yearly flood insurance cost, it seemed as if they were insinuating we could not afford the house. Not to mention they seemed to be rushing us into a bidding war we weren't even ready to do because we haven't even viewed the home! I looked on other websites to see if their number popped up as an agent for this home and none of the websites had them listed. So it was strange to me that they contacted me other than the agents that were listed under the home on Realtor.com. I called another agency and she answered all my questions in minutes. As well as assuring me we were right in knowing that there's no need for pre-approval to view a home. They might be legit, and do their job. But the way they do it is a little on the sketchy side, as well as a little chaotic. read more
