Avoid this money grubbing business and its poor business practices at your risk. I made a purchase at their Ramrod store and it was taking a long time for my credit card to go through. The clerk said there was a "glitch" in the system. Apparently he rebooted the card device to make the purchase go through. At one point the device flashed an all white screen and for a second flashed $52 and some cents, which disappeared to all white again. I mentioned that it flashed the wrong amount and asked him for a printed receipt (attached). Since it showed the correct amount I asked the clerk what I should do if my credit card statement charged me the wrong amount. He said I should go to Leatherwerks' main store. Well, when I got the erroneous statement I went through the hassle of stopping by Leatherwerks, talked to the manager Sam and showed him my statement and the printed receipt. He asked me if I'd tipped the clerk. (What? is Leatherwerks now expecting us to tip retail clerks on top of their over priced merchandise? I saw the same item for $3 less at another high priced store.) I told him all I ever saw was a blank white screen that flashed the $52.... and that the clerk never asked me to tip. Sam said he would look into it and get back to me and I wrote down my name and phone number on a scrap of paper. What more evidence does a business need to correct a charging error? A decent business would have agreed to credit my card for the overcharge right then but when I offered Sam my credit card to credit my account he declined and said he would look into it. Of course he never posted any credit to my card. I'm Never going back and neither should any one else. read more

Edited: 3/27/16 Figured I'd give them another shot. And glad I did. Ordered another hood from them, along with a tail, and this time everything was flawless. They must have figured out the shipping issues, as I had everything within days, instead of weeks. Really pleased, and will be ordering much more from them in the future. Original review: I ordered a pup hood from them for one of my pups birthdays. I will admit the product itself is awesome. But their shipping department sucks. Took three weeks to get the item I ordered. I could understand if the item had to be made first, but it was something that was already in stock. I contacted them a few days after placing my online order, as I hadn't received a confirmation or tracking information. It took 4 days to get a response. Once I got tracking info for the hood, it took them 2 weeks to even get it out of their shop! They kept telling me it was shipped, so I contacted the shipping company and was informed that the label was printed but they never received it. Instead of telling customers that it shipped, be honest and tell them someone screwed up! To say the least the item was received well after the day it was needed. Not a happy handler, and had a sad pup as a result. Next time I'll just order from Mr. S - yes the prices are higher but I'll have it in three days for sure. read more

Items are clearly displayed, plenty of choices and price ranges, all of the merchandise I saw--and I checked out a lot of it--was high quality. The guys who work there were open, friendly, encouraging, and honest. There was zero attitude. This means shopping was inspiring and a turn on. I bought several items that I'd wanted for a few years; no one pressed me to buy more. One sales guy even talked me out of something he thought I maybe wasn't ready for. I returned a few days later. The guys asked how I liked what I'd bought, and even offered to polish a leather item I'd managed to scuff. I bought one more thing the second day, and the sales guy said, OK, save the rest for another time! Yes, this is what it means to serve, in any capacity: you respect the other guy and pay maybe even more attention to him than he's paying to himself. I don't live in the area but most of the other customers appeared to be regulars. They were from all demographics: all races, ethnicities, ages, builds, etc. I also visited the outlet at the Ramrod.
