Rolled up to the pumps without any options figuring on getting got but what's a fellow to do except top off and keep driving... Had no business to tend but the store looked fairly clean from the pumps and nothing icky came out the doors so l guess it's safe inside. BTW: the prices are in line with nearby stations checked after leaving and on the way back home :-)

I had to make a split second decision as my light went off to indicate I was out of gas, and rather than put myself in harms way on the shoulder, I coasted into the rest area. It was late on Sunday night and I was racking my brain, when a friend reminded me that I might have roadside assistance through my insurance. Sure enough, I was able to have gas brought to me and gave them the exact location and mile marker, as listed inside the stop. Dated, but warm with a payphone, vending machines and relatively clean bathrooms. Within the hour I was back in business and closer to a gas station than I realized. I'm very thankful to have had the saving grace that was looking out for me that night!

I look at the phone mount in my hand but thought I had to ring it up at the non Cinnabon register, so I say "no that's it." She asks again even louder "ANYTHING ELSE!!!??" While holding her hand out to grab the phone mount before I could even react. I said "oh I thought I'd have to do it over there" She replies with the total, doesn't even acknowledge what I said. Then that's when she yelled at her employee that was helping behind the counter. This lady needs to be fired because her attitude ain't there. And that's just socially weird as fk. When traveling by car, gas is high enough without scrambling at the last minute to find a place to sleep before you hit the road again. Since I didn't know the area, I had to drain my iPhone AND gas tank trying to locate another place. When you are a woman alone, you want some place that is well-lit, near a bathroom, and a lot of business coming and going to prevent break-ins or the chance of getting raped. I had become reliant on the Flying J or Pilot, and now I can't. I also understand that one bought out the other, so the ban on overnight parking is probably standard now.
