I cannot rave enough about Lectro Tronic. About a year and a half ago, I dropped my cell phone and it landed perfectly enough to dent the port for the lightning cable, so I couldn't charge my phone with a cable or use headphones. I took the phone to Apple and they said they couldn't help me. I took my phone to a different repair shop and they wouldn't even try. Lectro Tronic said they would try to fix it - no promises. $15 later, the undented the port enough that I could use it problem free. A couple weeks ago, I was having issues with the port again. I took it directly to Lectro Tronic. The person behind the counter said he would try to clean it... 5 minutes later, it worked perfectly again. The service was good. The price was extremely fair. And they did a good job. I hope to not need to visit a cell phone repair place anytime soon, but the next time I do, I will definitely bring it to Lectro Tronic. read more

In my history of cell phone ownership my phones have a nice lifespan with no particular issues. My son's cell phone history is the opposite. He has destroyed about 5 or 6. He currently has an LG Vista and the charge port messed up. We stopped in a place on Alta Mesa and they quoted $75.00 and told my son that it would take a few days to get the part. They also told my son that if he got a quote for a lower price that they would match it. Well I stopped a Lectro Tronic and I got a quote for $50.00 so we told the other place on Alta Mesa. The guy asked me, "do you have a receipt from them?" I answered, "why would I have a receipt? That doesn't make sense since I got a quote not the actual service." He told me the lowest he would go is $60.00. I said, "Bye." Me and my son drove over to Lectro Tronic and both of the service technicians were friendly, honest, efficient and quick. The repair took less than 45 minutes, they had the part in stock and I appreciated the service with a smile. The charge was $49.00 plus tax. If I ever find myself or more likely, my son, in need of any type of electronics repair this is where I'm going. And I'm going to refer family and friends to them. This place was awesome! They quoted me over the phone for my iPhone 5s and said it would take an hour. I got to the store and they were so sweet. The guy quoted me 30 minutes but it did take an hour due to the damage on my phone. My phone turned out great and I'm very happy with the results and the service I received! I took my phone to a place and they said it would take a week for the part but when I called they said the part came in damaged and they had to reorder. I read the reviews and they were mixed I see this Repair place and called, they quoted me and I arrived and it was read in 15 minutes. Horrible service. My sister paid over $200 for a used iPhone 6s Plus which is a good price. But when I tried to sell my iPhone 7 they only offered 80. I understand making a profit but to low offer on a iPhone is bad customer service. They don't care about the customers and only want to make the most profit possible. After accidentally cracking the screen of my Samsung Galaxy Note 4, I was preparing to send it off for Express replacement under my Best Buy Geek Squad Protection plan. That plan, costing $200 initially, was still going to require yet another $149 service fee for replacing the phone. Being the phone was still fully operational and doing one more quick search online for local service shops who might be able to perform a glass-only replacement, I found Lectro Tronic and confirmed by phone that they could in fact do the repair, having the Note 4 glass screen in stock. The price was $139, so not much cheaper than a 2-day replacement from Geek Squad, but a 3 hour turnaound was better and I'd be getting back my original phone rather than a refurbished one that I didn't know the history of use on. So, I went with Lectro Tronic doing the repair and was extremely happy with the result. Funny thing too, that I wasn't expecting, was how the feel of new glass was an extra improvement...I guess any protective coating on my phone's original glass had worn down over a couple years, so now the phone truly feels as if new again. With such service available in the area, I'd generally recommend anyone who is typically careful with their phone to avoid paying for expensive service plans that still have added fees as I experienced with the Geek Squad. Instead, save your money, be careful with your phone, and know you've got Lectro Service nearby for repairs should they be needed. read more
