DO NOT GO HERE. Wife got an emergency root canal and they hit a nerve in her mouth and her chin and bottom lip are permanently numb. They barely apologized and didn't give any options or explanation until we pushed over and over. They didn't check in on her after we called and said it's been 24hrs+ with numbness and they said they'd check in every day. They also acted like we were crazy that we thought it was a big deal. Also, she got an X-ray first here and they said no cavities. We obviously go to a different dentist now and she just got more x-rays today and she has 4 CAVITIES. It's been less than 4 months - so she had at least a few if not all at the time they said she didn't have any. This is one of those fake, crappy dentists that up-charge everything and lie lie lie. read more

On 4/24/23, I went to Lee Dental Centers at 12175 Nacogdoches Rd. for a general check-up and cleaning. After some x-rays and a consultation with the doctor, I was told I needed a deep cleaning . . . $483.06. They also pushed other services that were not medically necessary, i.e., a night guard. Then, to make things worse, they said my insurance would not cover a preventive cleaning because, in their opinion, I needed a deep cleaning. Which would bring in much more revenue of course! I had an emergency come up with my employment program where I had to get dental x-ray scans done right away. I called many places in the area and couldn't get a same day appointment or if I did, it was $100+ without insurance coverage Maria, one of the dental hygienist there, helped me and was able to get me seen within two hours of me calling, plus for a great price. They followed all precautions with COVID, attended to me right away, gave me a check-up with the dentist too! I was able to even get a cleaning done per their recommendation without making another appt. Great experience coming here and working with Maria! Thank you again for all your help. read more

Yeah it' a chain-dental clinic but guess what? I got 5-star service. I had to change dentists thanks to my wonderful dental insurance (insert sarcasm) and got to choose b/w Lee and Castle Dental Centers. My mother actually goes to this location and I went based on her glorified recommendation. I am a bit of a snob. Honestly, I walked in for my regular cleaning thinking I would get sub-par svc because it was a chain dental place. I unfortunately had to get some work done as well, and the dentist could not have been more caring and thorough. She really took time to ensure my filling matched my bite; having me bite down repeatedly until the filling was comfortable for me. She seemed to care more than my previous dentist! The rest of the staff was accomodating. It' a 4 and not a 5 b/c I did have to wait quite a while for my first appt. If 4.5 were avail I'd do that. I would definitely recommend this location and if I may give actual names, Dr. T. to anyone that goes. read more

I found the front office was rude and acted as if I was a burden to even deal with not to mention they charge up front before work is done, hell they wont even allow you to make an appointment without paying upfront. I also found that they tried adding in extra work and never bothered to explain anything to me or even gave me options but when i told the dentists what i wanted and what i did not he had attitude and was inpatient when i was in the chair. The dentist also gave me a filing that covered 70% of my tooth and he even managed to miss a cavity that was sizable and while in the chair he told me one day ill need a crown on that tooth well come to find out ill need it allot sooner thanks to this mans negligence! Natasha was my Hygenist. She was so pleasant and kind. I actually enjoyed my appointment because of her outstanding patient care. She treated me professionally yet friendly. She educated me on ways to improve my care of my teeth. She wrote notes for me to take home. I look forward to my next appointment because of Natasha. I had great customer service and I am happy to be a patient at Lee Dental Centers. I would like to also mention the front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Especially Tory. I highly recommend this dental group. I've been to two of their offices and both times found the staff very friendly and informative. I recently had oral surgery and Dr. Almasri did a wonderful job. He actually was able to get more coverage on my exposed roots than he had hoped for. The same was true for when Dr. Sheridan did my cleaning. He was very friendly and interested in what I do (herpetology). We spent almost as much time chatting about snakes and frogs as we did about the dental stuff. This is the only dental group I plan to use in the San Antonio area. read more

So far I've had two really good experiences here. Everyone has been friendly and very accommodating. Their receptionist (Robyn?) did a great job working around my schedule and fitting me in for my appointments. They have a bilingual x-ray tech and Dawnie the dental hygienist did a super job with my difficult teeth - no pain at all, no bloody mess. My husband and I recently were serviced at the Northwest location of Lee Dental Centers. We scheduled a checkup and cleaning. However, after the exam, the dentist said that she would see if the hygienist could fit us in for a cleaning as if she were doing us a favor. I informed her that the intent of the appt, as I had told the individual making the appt, was to get a checkup and cleaning. Who makes their check up at the dentist office and doesn't get a cleaning? Well, they fit us in and upon paying charged us over $75 for a flouride treatment. WHAT!?!?! Don't you think you should tell your patient that you are going to provide a service that their insurance doesn't cover BEFORE providing the service? After my husband called the billing dept, he was told that **** had told me their would be an addt'l charge. Total falsehood. So I called the billing dept to confront this issue and request our money back. I talked to another individual who told me it was their policy to check to see if the patient has insurance but not necessarily what it covers. Also note that both my husband and I were told me would receive a call back from the doctor. We are still waiting... not surprisingly. We will definitely be informing my husband's cooperation who has this office on their dental plan and will suggest removal. read more

I have had the absolute worst experience with Lee Dental services. From the very first appointment. I went in had the dentist do x-rays then she did a check up. she recommended a root canal but couldn't do it in office needed to refer me to a specialist, ok I decided to pull the tooth. I go to the receptionist to schedule the appointment the woman tells me " oh well why don't you just give me a call when you have the money to schedule its prepaid services." immediately I am offended This woman assumed that because I am young and a minority that I didn't have the funds. I did so I booked the appointment paying 350.00. I then went to see my previous dentist for a second opinion he recommended I do a root canal. My next step was to call Lee Dental and cancel the extraction of my tooth and have a root canal done. They took a total of 5 business days to refund my money because according to them there was an error made so they cancelled the original refund and issued a second refund which was received immediately. Root canal is preformed March 22, 2012 by a specialist, whom told me to call Lee dental and schedule a buildup and crown. It takes these people 13 days to finally call me after several attempts on my end to contact them. The worst part when they refunded my 350.00 they made a mistake and refunded twice for a grand total of 700.00, note a mistake on their end. Today is April 13, 2012 still no appointment with the original dentist not only that when they went to refund themselves their 350.00 they made another mistake and debited my bank account 700.00 keeping in mind they never even extracted a tooth or completed a build up or crown. I am absolutely disgusted with this dental center, and still waiting on their incompetent billing department to call me back about fixing the issue. Oh and when I called them to ask why 700.00 was debited they acted as if I were crazy when I have proof of the two pending transactions in my bank account from Lee Dental. read more
