It is very relaxing, soft zen music, the service was excellent and I felt like they really cared about me as a customer. I have been getting gel manicures for many years and never were they that thick. So thick that I had difficulty getting my contacts out that night. I don't think they cured properly and they were almost sticky when I was in the shower. They also gave me two "free" nail designs and I am not an artist but I could have done better! My husband said it looked like I had a bug painted on my nails. I did pay and did tip because that's who I am. The owner asked if everything was fine and I said yes - first because I didn't have the time to get them fixed as I needed to go to work and second because I was frustrated and wanted to leave. The next day I went to a different place to have the gel taken off and reapplied. They kept asking "what type of gel is this" because it was so thick. When I explained I had them done the day before they said oh no because they looked like they had been grown out for a week.

She took a few minutes to assess what I was saying and carefully explained: -if it was possible -what was best to maintain the health of my hair -how many visits it would take to attain the color I requested ( very deep dark brown to very light blonde) -paying special attention my curls (mixed hair) Visit - the 1st visit was for a copper balayage and the total time in the seat was about 3 hours. She was very detailed, explained each step and items used. She began with: - the color - deep conditioning mask to control the frizz, prevent breakage, and prime for Styling The following visit was just as detailed. She consulted with me and asked what I preferred to ensure I was satisfied with my final results. Her explanations helped me make the best decision and allow the seamless grow out of the color. I was so pleased with results and compliments received on the color, I referred her to others and she has been my cosmetologist ever since.

So I paid $80 for nails that have little girl purple on them (the color was much darker in the book), and that didn't even stay. It's Monday and I'll have to take my fingernail polish off. It wore off already in the corners. I had fun while I was there, talking and laughing with my friend and the staff. But I won't go back.
