The owner opened the shop up earlier to fit me in before a holiday weekend. She is just so nice! And my nails look beautiful.

I called around 12p on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to fit me in for a 1pm gel mani/pedi appt. I arrived to a cute and chic nail salon that featured about 6 pedi stations and 6 mani stations. My manicurist, Kim, was phenomenal! She was so attentive and sweet and made sure I enjoyed the whole experience. Overall, it took 90 minutes for the gel mani/pedi and cost $95, for a French mani and gel pedi. Will definitely be back! On my quest to find a new place to get my nails done, I have been to Bamboo twice now. A coworker friend recommended this place and I have been very pleased so far. It was $45 to get gel powder dip removed and redone, which is very reasonable. They have a very nice selection of powder dip colors. This visit, I choose a glittery rose gold. The nail technician came back after looking for the powder color I had chosen. She informed me that she was wrong in stating that color was powder because it was actually gel polish. She offered to do a colorless powder dip and then top that with the gel polish. I agreed to that and am very happy with the results. Both visits here have been pleasant. The space is clean and relaxing. The work stations seem organized and sanitary. Both visits I had made appointments. They do accept walk-ins, but they don't have a lot of staff so they have to turn away people during busier times. Both techs I had were friendly and did a very nice job shaping and filling my nails. Bamboo nail salon has become my go-to nail spot. The biggest draw for me is the fact that they use a liner in their Pedicure Chairs, making sure that each pedicure is protected from the germy feet of the person before me! I have become a regular here, and I have a box with my own manicure tools and my name on it, helping to make certain there is not contamination. They are very careful with sanitizing their metal equipment as well. As someone with very sensitive skin, I've not had any reactions to the lotions or scrubs used at this location. The staff here is friendly and is very accommodating with scheduling. They did my nails for my bridal shower and wedding, working with me to come up with a fun and unique look to match my dress. The gel nail pedicure and manicure is reasonably priced, but unless you are going to be walking through the sand or super rough on your toenails, they have regular polish that matches their gel options. They do accept walk-ins, but as a spa with a generous number of regular clients, the wait can be a bit long. I recommend making reservations ahead of time, especially if you find a nail technician you would like to have again. Clean, professional, experienced and flexible with making reservations for clients. That's all I can ask of any nail spa. read more

I came here with some friends who are regulars to get our nails done for an event. Appointments are made with ease and when we arrived we were taken promptly. Its a very clean and bright salon and the staff is super friendly. It looks like they have a lot of regulars because they have these "regular" boxes with each client's name on it and apparently if you have one you can just go in and grab your box and all of the stuff in there is used on you and only you. That's pretty neat. They helped me pick the perfect color and overall I am very happy with my result. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure and it was $50 which I feel is a little pricey but as often as I do it, its fine for me. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since my manicure and its still looking good, just growing out a bit. I'd go back! read more

I had been going to this salon for years and was happy with everything. Unfortunately, over the past two years, I've had rude and unpleasant experiences with the owner. I schedule my appointments in advance, prepare my nails before my appointment (trim, remove old nail polish) and leave my tips in cash - which are always over 20%. The treatment I received was demeaning, and it was quite obvious the owner was making fun of me when she spoke to one of her employees directly in front of me. The employee was visibly embarrassed that this was happening, and it has happened more than once. Subsequently, I learned that four other customers I know personally (two of whom I referred there years ago) have taken their business elsewhere, specifically due to the attitude and treatment they have received by the owner. I feel badly for the other employees there, as they are always pleasant, professional and do a wonderful job with my nails. It's very disappointing, as the salon is nicely decorated, clean, and in a convenient location. Hopefully the owner will learn to treat ALL of her customers with respect. Some attitudes and behaviors can be understood despite what language is being spoken. Unacceptable, especially for a woman of her age and in her position. read more

I loved it! Tammy is very hospitable and actually wants to talk to you! They have so many colors, especially in gel. I couldn't decide! It took me over five minutes because there was so many. However I love options, so I'd prefer a ton of colors than not many! They recently moved their salon so it's not perfect yet. But you can see what they're trying to accomplish and it's going to be beautiful! They're very clean here, which is important. My gel polish with a fill-in cost $27 and then I added a tip on that. I believe that's an amazing price for this area! I will definitely be going back there and 100% recommend. The polish in the picture is one of their new ones named something with a flamingo. Decided to try out this place to get my daughter a pedicure and remove her current set as and place a new one. We called in before coming and they said yes and gave me an appointment at 4:30. They asked what was needed to make a long story short I said pedi and full set but explained what we wanted once we walked in at 4:25pm. They immediately tried to convince my daughter to just keep the set and replace one nail, she said no and they immediately started talking in there language and made us feel uncomfortable. They changed her from chairs and decided to do her pedicure instead. During this time they are still taking walk-ins and making her wait to get her set done the way they wanted just so we can make things smoother but apparently now they are not happy that we decided to do what they wanted and have had her wait even longer. The person who started to remove the color in her nails was removed once another walk-in came in to assist the walk-in person. They would get a 4 star for pedicure and since they have not done her set I will resubmit my review later but for customer service is the reason for 1 star read more

I came in for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure and was not disappointed! My tech was so lovely and friendly and she offered suggestions that left me with a much cooler manicure than I had expected. She was super transparent about a small upcharge for French tips (100% worth it, they look great) and helped me decide on a base color. The pedicure was thorough and my nails look very nice. Nothing incredibly unique about the pedicure results, but my nails are well shaped and the polish is very even--I'm certainly happy with how it turned out. The salon itself is very bright and clean, and the color selection was vast. Given my experience, I would definitely come back! read more

But I would like to give special praise to Cindy who gave me the best gel manicure I have ever had. I have aging hands and nails that are not particularly pretty and she took so much time to make sure that they looked perfect by the time she was done. I had a little wait from my appointment time but it was well worth it. Came here with my 2 nieces for pedicures. There was no wait and they had enough technicians that we could get our nails done together which was nice. I gave 2 stars because they had the smallest selection of opi colors I've ever seen and also, the pedicures were the fastest we've ever had. There was no time to relax with them working so fast and if they had just slowed down a bit, they could have been more thorough. For example, I walked in with blue nail polish and selected a nude polish. The technician didn't even bother to completely remove the blue polish so there was an edge lining of blue around the new nude polish on my toes. Unbelievable! read more

If your looking to go your your nails done do not come here! About a week ago I wanted to get my nails done I just moved up this way looking for a good salon to go to. When I called they said a full set would be about $27 but when I left to seat it jacked up to $40! These nails are not worth it ! They gave me the wrong polish I did not realize it until I came back to get my nail fixed after 3 days of having a fresh new set! My nails do not match eachother some are skinnier then others thicker different lengths and already losing there shape. PLUS there already lifting 5/10 of the nails. When I went back to get my nail fixed it took an HOUR JUST TO FIX ONE NAIL! I had an appointment and so did another lady who was sitting beside me they took her before me ( I was the first one to get there) when I only need again one nail fixed. I could tell they were pissed that I came back to get my nail re fixed I'm so disappointed that I wasted my money here and my time to get shit ass fresh set. If you don't know how to do a simple acrylic set then don't do them simple. You'll get "clients" like me that won't come back. read more

Wonderful experience! My mom and I had a pedicure. I'm pregnant and was worried about the strong nail salon smell but it was well ventilated and actually smelled good!
