Decided to book this office for my dental needs and I had a great experience, other than the constant calls before the appointment. But I understand why they wanted to insurance details over the phone as their online scheduler didn't ask for those details. I did have to arrive 20mins early to fill out the forms and have them check my dental insurance for coverage. The staff were friendly and made me comfortable. They explained the procedures and treatment plan easily. I was even happy to see there were some appointments for Friday as that is my only week day off work. read more

After posting my initial review Dr. Didier's office called me back and Denise went over all they had been going through to get the replacement tooth. Lee Vista Dental had not done the implant that was done at another dentist office surgery center and apparently the part that office used was not current. Lee Vista has been trying for a couple of months and working with different dental labs to get the correct part and replacement tooth. After hearing all of this I feel like they are on my side and working so hard to help me. What would have been better would have been to tell me all along and let me know exactly what was going on with the work. Today I went into the office as I had a 4pm appointment as a new client. As I went to the desk there was a conversation about my appointment for restart of Invisalign. I was told I could not be seen as I did not follow their policy of the provider approving my coming to the facility. I was also told I was to call the previous office and have my records transferred for the provider to review then let them know (no typo they were to be told not me) if they would approve the transfer. When I questioned why this was the first time I heard this they said they were unsure. I explained I made an appointment with their office when I fully explained what I was doing. I gave a contact name from the other office but was told I did not have to do anything. I also explained to the women at the front desk while they called me multiple times prior to my visit they never once asked me about the reason for the visit. While I am trying to figure out why this is such a cluster .... The untitled women behind the desk told me with an attitude that it is a 3rd party who makes the appointment and they can't help what 3rd party did. The entire time of the interaction the women was verbally aggressive and cut me off from talking multiple times. I finally asked to her please let me talk. I went through all the issues stated above and asked how I was to know the policy of the office. Her response was a shrug of her shoulders and told me to talk to the office I came from and was dismissed. No attempt to help by calling the other office and assist. I left knowing it was my problem. I tried to salvage the time I left work early, no vaca time so no pay, I went back in and asked if I could make an appointment as I do have insurance. They could do all the comprehensive exam but no cleaning. I agreed and they took my card. I was told to complete the paperwork. I was 1/2 way through the paperwork when I was told they could not see me. The hygienist had another patient coming in. What? They made me another appointment and I could take the paperwork with me to complete. Gee thanks. I highly do not recommend this office and certainly the lady at the front desk. Waited for over an hour just to be rushed through my initial exam. Once they were in my mouth, a gal with a clipboard came in and told me horror stories about my teeth and tried to upsell me on a menus worth of stuff. Failing to tell me what was and wasn't covered by insurance, I asked. What a surprise, nothing was. I refused the upsell and they acted like I couldn't. I said, "just give me the basic cleaning", and they said they needed special permission from dentist to allow this. I'll never go back and STRONGLY recommend going elsewhere. read more

I am quite particular when it comes to my dental hygiene and my dentist office, especially. I actually have been driving to my old dentist which is 3.5 hours away because I am that loyal. I was introduced to Dr. Kim by a friend whom spoke highly of him. I was really glad to have made the decision to stop in. They made me come back 2 times after wisdom tooth removal cause i had expose nerves which hurt SOOOOOO bad. On top of that, they told me i owed them a bill 4 months after i had my surgery. My husband has had a bad tooth for awhile now and couldn't take the pain anymore. I had gotten a flyer fax from Lee Vista dental in the mail and gave them a call at 3:30 in the afternoon. The got my husband in the very next morning! The office is very nice and everyone at reception was welcoming. The dental assistant who helped my husband was DJ and he was amazing. So friendly, smiling and joking around really helped my husband relax and he explained every step he took and everything that was done. Dr. Singh was phenomenal! This office looks nice however the staff has no idea what they are doing. I asked for my portion of the cost of my visit UP FRONT. I was misquoted by about $600. I wasn't informed UNTIL AFTER THE PROCEDURE HAD STARTED. The Dr honored the original price quoted by the staff. So ask me why I now keep receiving bills from the office for over $1000!! I called to find out why (because I paid for every service before leaving) and now I'm being told MONTHS LATER my insurance didn't pay their portion. AGAIN a BILLING ERROR on the staffs behalf. Meanwhile, this bill is on my credit report and when I call to get answers SHE STARTS LYING!! Says the insurance didn't cover a portion. They also show you the list of services that will be provided to you up front so that you can see billing- I appreciated the 100% transparency w the services they provide you. i was a new patient so they had to due a series of every x-ray they could charge you for. They extracted two lower teeth that could not be saved. They charge over $750.00 cash for this as I do not have dental insurance. A week later in extreme pain the entire week they decide I have a dry socket and it is infected. They clean it out and give my gauge to bite on. they gave me different antibiotics and not enough pain pills that were so low dosed they never ever made me comfortable. They had the nerve after I believe their mistake to charge me another $143.00! They did not even own up to their own mistakes. I feel this dentist and practice needs to be investigated for malpractice and overbilling. Stay away - I still have the infection that I need to go to a dentist this Tuesday to see what is going on. Like many people, I am not a fan of the dentist. I've had one bad experience during a root canal procedure; that bad experience came back to haunt me when the tooth where I had the root canal was losing bone. I went to one dentist who pretty much told me that I should just remove the tooth, which caused me to feel very disheartened because I'm too young to be having a tooth removed! However, my husband encouraged me to get a second opinion, so I went to Dr. Kim at Lee Vista Dental. He took a look at my tooth and believed there was a chance that the tooth could be saved. He referred me to a wonderful specialist (Dr. Mauricio Chavarriaga) who redid the root canal and saved my tooth! The bone has been regenerating. The staff at Lee Vista is incredible; they make me feel welcomed and comfortable. I made Dr. Kim my regular dentist and have been back twice for dental exams and three times for cleanings. The hygienists are so gentle and comforting-- I actually don't dread going to cleanings anymore. In fact, I look forward to seeing Dr. Kim and his staff because their positive energy calms my nerves. I intentionally took the time to write this review. As a customer/patient I rely on reviews and glad that we have this concept today. As a patient of this facility of two years with my family. After a couple of visits I was informed while in the dentist chair that my dentist was no longer practicing at the facility. My thought was, shouldn't I had a say in my decision to continue with the facility PRIOR to missing work and showing up at the off? So thinking about the time it takes to schedule a dentist appointment and the inconvenience. I continued with the visit nontheless. Now, there was a balance after the insurance paid and I meant to call in an pay but got so wrapped up that I never did. However, I noticed an upcomong appointment on my calendar so I called to cancel it and pay the balance that I owed. They took my payment by phone, canceled my appointment as requesred and then I received a collection bill in the mail for $29 collection/ late fee (according to the collection agency, it is a late fee tacked on by the office, and according to the office it is collection fee) Nonetheless, the overall LACK of patient care/customer service, and then retaliate when/if a patient spoke up, is very alarming. I do not recommend this office to anyone. Their bedside manners is a zero as it relates to patients. They are ONLY concerned about forceful patient retention. Patients do have choices. Go to LAKE NONA DENTAL GROUP. They will contractually write off $29 instead of sending it to collections. The office manager is accessible and WILL tall to you. Unlike Lee Vista Dental, that threatens and retaliate. I know this is lenghty, but it is important for patients to be informed of the "culture" of the facilities that provides care. As a heathcare worker, one that is fully verse in finance/collections. Sending $29 to collections after the accepted the full payment tells a lot. Let me start by saying I have been a patient with this dental office since 2014. Since then, my experiences with this facility have drastically changed for the worst. The front office staff back in 2014 were amazing, respectful and all around what a model employee should be for a customer service representative. The office staff now, are the model employee of what you would show in a customer service video of what not to do or act like. Please let me explain in my experience I had with them today. My wife had recently had an appointment at this location a recently. She was telling me how the whole office staff has changed and she a good experience. She reminded me it was time to get my cleaning as well. Finally, I called Lee Vista Dental on Monday afternoon to request an appointment for a cleaning. I young lady answered the phone and was able to help me find an appointment for Tuesday at 2:30 PM. Unfortunately, we had a personal emergency come up and I had to call to reschedule today's appointment. I placed the call to them Tuesday afternoon at 11:53 AM. Being the fact that I knew I was the one needing to reschedule, the next available was the option I knew that would be on the table. A different female from the day before who spoke with an accent answered the phone, rather rudely. Working as a scheduling coordinator myself I knew she must have been busy but it did seem rather off putting to hear that right away. I explained to her my situation, how I had a personal emergency and needed to reschedule. She told me the next available wasn't until May. I explained that unfortunately that appointment won't work because it's kind of an emergency. She goes what do you mean, what kind of emergency. So I said I think my root is exposed on one of my teeth but I understand when I called I made the appointment for a cleaning but I was going to speak with them about it then. Reason I know it's an exposed root because the last time I had went in to Lee Vista Dental I had the same pain I'm experiencing now in it. They told me that we're going to seal it but if it becomes exposed and causing you pain again your probably going to need a root canal. So back to my experience, this lady then goes that's right you did make the appointment for a cleaning so now your trying to change it. I said no ma'am, I wanted a cleaning too but I wanted to also discuss my tooth. Because let's be honest, root canals aren't cheap even with insurance. She goes well I can get you in tomorrow morning for a limited exam but it won't be the full thing just limited. I stated that unfortunately morning appointments won't work for me because I'm working at that time, that's why I would need an afternoon appointment. At this point in my mind I knew it would be easier for me to accept the fact that I couldn't get into them at least before May so I was willing to go visit another dentist just for the one time and then continue at Lee Vista Dental. So I then said at this point it will be more convenient for me to find a new dentist but I appreciate your help. She was like okay bye. And hung up. After the customer ends the call, you wait a few seconds to see if they disconnect. If the customer or patient hasn't disconnected but the call is completed you are then free to disconnect the call. Also, you don't every end a call with okay bye. It's customary to ask if there is anything else you can help with. But because of this one experience and this one employee, this customer will be taking her business elsewhere from now on. I don't expect rainbows and unicorns every time I call a facility but I do expect respect from their office staff, especially if I have done nothing wrong to disrespect them in the first place. Personally, all it takes is one bad apple until the rest of the office staff starts drinking the juice. Then before you know it you have a whole bad bunch instead of just one. read more

I am not here to make anything up, just all honesty. About 4 months ago I went in for a cleaning/evaluation and was told I needed a filling on one of my teeth that I had absolutely no problems with; no pain, no discomfort. But hey, the dentist says I need a filling, then I guess I need a filling right? Appointment #1: Dr. Garland does the filling, as soon as I become un-numb, I can't bite anything with that tooth so I schedule appiointment #2. Appointment #2: Dr. Garland takes pictures of the tooth, and says he sees what's wrong right away and it will be a quick fix...does the "quick fix". Few hours later, I can't bite anything with that tooth so I schedule appointment #3. Appointment #3: Dr. Garland says he has to completely replace the filling. Goes ahead and completely digs out the previous filling and does a new filling...few hours later, as soon as I become un-numb, I can't bite anything with that tooth so I call and speak with the office manager, can't remember her name. Tell her what I've been through so far and she says "please come in tomorrow and let's have the other doctor, Dr. Lounsberry have a look, so I schedule appointment #4. Appointment #4: Even though I was promised that I would see Dr. Lounsberry, an assistant comes and takes, yet again, new pictures and does some tests and says she'll be right back and that she'll tell Dr. Lounsberry her findings. Comes back maybe 20 minutes later with the office manager that I spoke to on the phone. Manager tells me they didn't see anything wrong in the xrays and that if I want to, Dr. Lounsberry can once again redo the whole filling for me but that they can't guarantee that I will not have the pain anymore. I tell her yes I would like to try one last time and if it doesn't work still then I would change my dental office. She leaves the room to go and talk to Dr. Lounsberry and comes back and tells me that they don't want to keep wasting my time so it's best that I just go my own way and that they refund me, which she tells me that I will probably get within 90 days, ha . So to summarize: I had absolutely no pain or problems on my tooth until this place generated the pain and problem by doing a filling, I wasted hours of my time on 4 appointments, after 4 appointments they still couldn't fix what they originally broke, and they finally told me that they probably won't be able to fix it so let's not waste anymore of my time. Great "job security" method....do yourself a favor and just pick another dentist folks. read more

COMPLETELY incompetent office staff. Dr. Kim is a nice person, but prepare to be double-billed. I was told I owed $300 total after insurance. An entire YEAR goes by, and my fiance gets a call saying we need to pay $200 more or the account goes to collections. If you've ever called an insurance company and told them which A.D.A. codes you were going to be charged, they will tell you EXACTLY how much money they will cover. The ONLY ways a bill can change from the initial estimate to after the procedure is if the person provided the wrong codes during the estimate, or if the codes used during the procedure changed. Not sure which scenario happened here, but both mean COMPLETE incompetence on the part of Dr. Kim's office staff. I've seen dentists regularly for the past 15 years and I have never been double-charged like this. I went there and told them they can either get the $200 and lose our future business or forget the $200 and we will continue seeing them. Considering we each have $1,500 per year in insurance coverage, this was a stupid move business-wise. What school did these idiots go to ? Dr. Kim, needs to FIRE his office manager and anyone else involved in the mistakes made on this account or eventually he will see the impact to his business. Horrible place. Was completely lied to by the doctor and her staff! Very disappointed. I was quoted one price for my procedure and by the time all was said and done I was charged $300 more than the original price of $824. This is more than some people make in a week and is just so mean to do to anyone! I would understand a few hidden charges of $50 or even $100 but $300 is just bad business and shows this place could care less about you! Even my insurance company couldn't believe that I was completely lied to and tried contacting the office 3 times with zero success. Please don't make the same mistake I did and choose this dentist. The only reasons my husband and I continue coming to this office is because of Dr. Lounsberry and Kathy, our hygienist. The customer service is sub-standard. The office is horrible at returning calls. When you call the office, it is rare to get an actual person to answer. After being on hold for a while and someone picks up the phone, you may think you are speaking to a person from the office, but in many instances you are speaking to an answering service during 'normal' business hours. I have learned to ask if I am speaking to someone in the office, or to someone from the answering service. When you call, you also have the option of leaving a message, but when your calls are rarely returned, why leave a message? Most recently, I called on Friday, 08/23/19, to ask for post instructions for my husband. He had a tooth pulled the previous afternoon. The answering service gave the message to the office, and about 3 hours later my call was returned. The instructions were emailed to me, which was perfect. However, I had asked if my husband could resume using the Waterpik, and the gal I had spoken with said she would call the doctor and get back with me. I never heard from her, so I left a message on Monday, 08/26/19, and still haven't received a call! I have better things to do than trying to get a response from the office, so my husband has resumed using the Waterpik! This is just one example, but it has happened on numerous occasions!!!! read more

Dr garland put a crown for my husband, this guy is not very experience his hand was shaking while giving anesthesia to numb my husband mouth and surely one year later that crown fell off the tooth and here we are today at the same dr office which is Lee vista dental trying to fix it, they said that dr garland is longer working there and they refused to treat my husband even though they were the ones who put that crown, the lady upfront who called her self an office manager wants to send my husband to a different dentist to do a root canal and to fix the mess that they did and they said they don't do this kind of job there, what kind a dentist is this if they can't even be responsible for the poor job they did and we spent over $1200 at that office. My recommendation is do not go to lee vista dental the dentists are not experienced at all, the office manager is rude she is very good at collecting money. Watch out for false charges. They do not provide an itemize bill. The team is nice but, not worth being over charge.

The only reason I continue to come here is because I like the people that actually work on my teeth. The people that work the office and billing are totally incompetent. In order to remind you of an upcoming appointment they call you four separate times. And if you don't answer any of these calls, they leave a voicemail that you need to call back in order to confirm. I work a job where I cannot answer my phone during business hours so I don't understand why the first time I call them back and confirm is never enough. Also, my insurance recently changed and the first few people I spoke to told me I was good to go, just to get a call 30 minutes before my appointment asking about the insurance change. I drove back home to get the card and thought that I settled it all out, when I left they told me I didn't owe anything. Now five weeks later I get a bill because they tried to charge my previous insurance. As if our week long conversation about the insurance change never even happened. While I like the dentist and the hygienist, the office is enough to make it not worth the hassle. read more
