Although they got the take out chicken order wrong, I ate the dark meat anyway (I ordered white). The breading was very good the sides were also good. The bun was my favorite; Nice and light and buttery and fluffy. read more

I just discovered Lee's chicken in the past month. I knew they was there, but never tried it!!!!! But chicken strips and potatoes wedges and coleslaw are AMAZING!!!! And the service has always been nothing but the BEST!!!! Last night I stopped through the drive thru and bought me some potato wedges and of course AMAZING!!!! But I need to comment on the young lady at the window. She was so nice and respectful. We had a conversation and I guess I thought I had my potato wedges but I drove off without them but didn't know it until I was at the light and she came running to catch me. She ran through a very busy intersection to catch me!!!! Now that is going out of her way. She did not have to do that. I appreciate how she come running to catch me. She definitely deserves a raise and a high five. Thank you young lady. read more

Wonderful. The employees and food is really good. Their chicken breast is so moist. One time I didn't have my card to pay for my meal. They told me to go home and get it, and they even gave me the food before they were paid. read more

My cuz told me about this place and he was born and raised in the area but now has moved to Az. In KCMO we have a place that sells gizzard and Liver called Go-Chicken Go. One problem I had food was too salty. read more

This used to be my absolute favorite restaurant. I've been going for the past 5 years. However, within the past year they took the spicy jumbo dippers off their menu. More recently they took away the spicy option all together. You cannot order spicy strips whatsoever. This was the best breading/recipe. It made lees what it is!!!!I don't know what's happening to this business but it's very saddening. This was the place. I'm hoping one day they'll bring back what made them the best. read more

There are very few chicken restaurants that serve chicken gizzards and livers and even fewer who serve good gizzards. Lee's does it right. I've tried others parts too and they are very good as well. im at the Columbia Missouri location for the first time. I was headed to Jefferson City locMarion when I was informed of the local restaurant. Try it out. I don't believe you'll be disappointed. Now as I go back and forth on I-70 I'll have a go to location to get this delicacy. read more

I do not like the film covering the drive thru window. I cannot see in and watch what they do with my debit card. I like to keep an eye on it when I hand it to someone at a drive thru window. Other than that , I have never had any bad service or food. read more

It's been about a year , but got my chicken took it home pulled the nice thick crust off to eat and found three large white feathers on the skin , the feathers were at least 2 inches long , had there chicken before loved it but cany bring my self to eat here ever again ! read more

It all made me wonder if the chef had lost their sense of taste due to Covid or something. Seriously. I've had that happen to me a couple of times and all I could taste was really basic stuff like sour and salt. And our waitress was totally uninterested in trying to make our experience better. She wasn't rude, she was just indifferent to the fact that we'd been served two courses that we absolutely couldn't eat. Didn't offer us anything to compensate or even express any sympathy about it. We got out of there as fast as we could and made ourselves feel better with an Andy's frozen custard.

I frequent Lee's anytime I'm on Missouri visiting my family. For years they sold a BBQ chicken sandwich for $.99 that was delicious. I'd bring them back to Omaha with me to share with my friends and coworkers. They raised the prices a couple of years ago and increased the size. I had to limit who I brought them to die to the price increase. Well last time I came home I discovered they're no longer selling the sandwiches. Imagine my disappointment. Fortunately they have other great items on the menu and I'll still frequent the restaurant when I come home. I'll keep checking for those chicken sandwiches to return though. read more
