Food was good, but the prices have increased significantly since visiting two years ago. Be prepared to bring a heavy pocketbook. The service was good. Reservations are taken at the door when you arrive so sometimes there is a line. The vibe is industrial with booths and tables.

Easy to see why this spit is popular. Plenty of seating both in and outside under a covered roof. Service is efficient, fast and friendly. Breakfast and lunch menu offers something for everyone whether you're looking for a unique dish or a simple one. Generous portions and delicious.

No frills breakfast, brunch, lunch spot. Got brunch here prior to going back home to St. Louis. No issues, no complaints. Really good food, good service. Excellent amount of vegetarian/ vegan options. We got there just in time to be seated immediately on a Sunday around 10:30am. Highly recommend!

A lovely new aged gem with varied food for all folks who come and visit. As a younger individual I can be very thankful to the freedom the waiters have in their clothing freedom, the unisex bathrooms, colors and fun environment. I think the prices were a bit high but the quality of food was too, and a single meal was very filling. I have no advice for this business to improve because I think they are doing a great job and I would be brought back here to try something else on the menu.

We came in for trivia, which was fun. But my rating is for the food specifically. It was just okay, nothing special. The service was good overall. Ambiance is like a simple diner with a bar. - Mac n cheese (2.5/5): Not great, not seasoned well. Just tasted bland overall. - Pulled pork sandwich (3/5): Lots of meat, but a bit dry and lacked flavor. It was a good portion size though.

Food was delicious. Salsa matched the food perfectly. Veggies were soft but toasty. I ordered a dirty hippie (chai latte with espresso) and it was so good! I would order everything again and I'm excited to go back. We visited Sunday around 11am, it was pretty busy but only waited 5-10 minutes for a table for 2. Service was great and food came out pretty fast!

I was a regular customer at Cafe Berlin when I lived in Columbia and was excited to visit on a trip back - I loved it then and it's even better now! We stopped by for an early brunch and were seated quickly in their large dining space. The veggie scramble and breakfast burrito were both fantastic and the roasted potato side was a standout. The breakfast burrito had both regular and sweet potatoes - a delightful surprise! Definitely put this on your Columbia MO list!!

What an amazing experience my gf and I had here today. Everything, everything was great. The service was phenomenal. (Thanks Oksana!) The coffee and espresso; fantastic! And then there was the food. Some of the best I have had all year. We ordered the Eggs Florentine and the pulled pork hash. Both were completely different and perfect. The hash was a mix of sweet and white potatoes with jalapeños, peppers and onions and chock full of pulled pork. Served with a chipotle aioli AND a sweet apple sauce. All topped with a perfectly poached egg. It was so bright and full of flavor you could not believe it! The Eggs Florentine were perfectly cooked over an exceptional English muffin and topped with hollandaise sauce. The subtle notes of garlic and spinach just blended perfectly within richness of the eggs and sauce. The complete opposite of the other dish and yet still perfectly considered. You may have to wait to get a table but it is beyond worth it in my opinion. Go there at once!

Great Mediterranean breakfast that will not disappoint! Atmosphere: very lively atmosphere it was packed when we came on a sunday morning. luckily we were able to get one of the last tables available. Very cool eclectic decor very bright and warm feeling inside. From the disco ball to the random mugs.. awesome Food: Biscuit & gravy - $4 - perfectly crispy biscuit and some really good sausage gravy.. loved this! Carey Burrito - $10 - 2 Eggs, Feta, grilled apples, potatoes, Tzatziki. Bursting with flavor, eggs cooked perfectly loved the mild feta and the grilled potatoes with perfectly seasoned.. the apples honestly were unnecessary but didn't hurt the overall flavor. Mediterranean Breakfast - $11 hummus,Cherry tomatoes, Olives, scrambled eggs with feta with grilled pita. My daughter absolutely LOVED this dish, this is not easy to find in MO as a whole. So much lighter then something with meat and it's a huge dish. Sauce Tip: Absolute MUST to get the Tzatziki SOOOO GOOD Drinks: Coffee - Good Coffee, loved the different mugs everyone had. Its just something small that gives you the eating at home but not cooking yourself feeling Price: Extremely affordable Parking: Smaller lot for free with some additional street parking and an additional lot available not sure if its a charge though across the street. Service: The absolute nicest staff. The waiters, the busboys, the cooks, the cashier, the host. An amazing breakfast place we will frequent for sure!

They brew their own beer and it was all super tasty. The bartender was also nice enough to give me a small sample of two of the beers so I can decide which I wanted to have with my meal. My friend and I shared a pizza, a platter of wings, and a burnt ends plate. First of all- I was shocked how good the pizza was. Given I'm originally from NJ, I'm a bit of a pizza snob. But it was actually quite tasty. The platter of wings was solid. Not the biggest wings in the world, but the plate came with a bunch and the sauce was really good. And the burnt ends were phenomenal. Super tender, lots of flavor. The place itself was very lively- lots of happy, talking people getting ready for the night. Certainly a place to come to feel "energy". I was certainly overly stuffed after this meal- would come back again!

The beers are top-notch -- from the easy-drinking Canned Good and Flor Blanca Mexican Lager to the rich Thresher Porter, they're clearly brewing with care and creativity. The food matches the quality of the beer. We've been here for brunch and highly recommend it -- everything from the eggs to the bread feels fresh and flavorful. I also love how many of their ingredients are sourced locally, which really adds to the quality and uniqueness of each dish. On this visit, we shared the fried cheese curds and the brisket grilled cheese! We also happened to stop by for a jazz night, which was such a fun surprise. The live music totally elevated the atmosphere and made the evening feel special. That said, there's still a bit more they could do with the space -- it would be great to see more regular live music or special events to bring even more life to the room. Prices are a bit higher than average for Columbia, but for the quality, atmosphere, and local charm, it's worth it. Great beer, great food, great people -- a solid 4 stars!

Things started out well, the BF had a tasty Manhattan and I had a mocktail that was subtle and delicious, and not overpriced as mocktails often are. But alas. The house salads that we ordered were overdressed in a vinaigrette so acidic we couldn't finish them. And there wasn't much to them. Other than greens and fried shallots and pickled red onions, there was a tiny dusting of some finely grated cheese. And who needs two kinds of onions and nothing else on the salad? Then we each had a bowl of the matzo ball soup, which was ridiculous. Three matzo balls sitting in a quarter-inch of broth that was so unbelievably salty that we couldn't eat that either. We ended up asking for hot water to dilute the broth to a level of saltiness that was edible. The chicken was okay and the matzo balls were okay. A little gummy. But the broth was just awful. It all made me wonder if the chef had lost their sense of taste due to Covid or something. Seriously. I've had that happen to me a couple of times and all I could taste was really basic stuff like sour and salt. And our waitress was totally uninterested in trying to make our experience better. She wasn't rude, she was just indifferent to the fact that we'd been served two courses that we absolutely couldn't eat. Didn't offer us anything to compensate or even express any sympathy about it. We got out of there as fast as we could and made ourselves feel better with an Andy's frozen custard.
