I have noticed that they do everything with excellence here and that is a far cry from most restaurants, even those that are supposed to be the higher class restaurants. There is no substitute for "excellence" in a restaurant to make the experience one that you care to repeat. We asked for a knife and they did not just bring a knife and hand it to us, they brought it with a saucer that we may lay it on after we used it. Very impressive! There was no yelling back and forth across the restaurant to each other in a foreign language. They were polite to each other and polite to us. If we needed something they quickly and kindly responded with a smile to secure it for us. The restaurant is very clean. There are no tables left dirty or dishes not removed quickly. The place gets packed which is a great sign that the food, service, and atmosphere are to the people's liking. I see some reviews dragging this restaurant because of a language barrier. Sure, not all the workers speak English but it is super easy to navigate through these types of situations unless you want it to be a problem. I have been to multiple countries where I don't speak the native language, but I was still able to handle transportation, eating at restaurants, finding entertainment, and even haggling for bargains. Some people are simply "low capacity" when it comes to overcoming minor inconveniences. As I'm sitting here eating, I see a lot of locals enjoying their meals and leaving with full bellies and big smiles. The patrons at the table across from me said, "that was so good! Now it's time for a nap". I love seeing people from other parts of the world come to this city and share the food and flavors they know and love. It's not easy moving thousands of miles away and finding a means to thrive. Heck, it's not easy to be native here and thrive. It is also not easy to pick up a new language as an adult while working 40+ hours a day. This restaurant is a pretty hot place judging from the amount of customers in here. On one hand one may be mad at the wait they experience before being seated and then when they are seated, they may be mad at "feeling rushed". Well this simply means the staff is trying their best to accommodate all their customers. This is how it goes at any restaurant. And let me also mention that some of the best authentic cuisines in town are fully staffed by non English speakers.
