I saw the positive yelp reviews, so I thought, why not give it a try. My favorite boots needed new heel pads (I think that's what they are called? The rubber parts on the bottom of the high heel?). OMG.... They completely ruined my Hermes slides. I took my slides to be glued since they opened up and when I picked them up today they look horrible. The glue is spilled over the sides, bumps , just horrible. Even my 12 year old boy could have done a better job. I would never take the chance to go over there EVER Again. I visited Lee's shoe repair in destress after having the hardest time finding a place that repairs shoes let alone one that was open on a Saturday. After driving around to two places that were supposedly open, doors locked... I found Lee's!! I arrived with four pairs of shoes in need of repair, two drastic sole repairs needed and two quick and easy heel replacements. When I showed him the two shoes that needed sole replacements, he actually explained to me all about soles, why mine deteriorated and how to avoid in the future. He also told me one the the soles was not with replacing, after he explained it made sense. The heel replacements cost $10, and I believe the sole replacement was $39. The shoes were ready for pickup the following Saturday. Mr. Lee takes cash or check no credit card, luckily you can pay when you pick up so you are prepared. read more

I came in to Lee's with a pair of Chelsea boots that the heel cap had fallen off of. The shop is small and the man working there stopped to help me right away. He gave me a ticket stub for the shoes after I showed him the issue and told me to come back for them in a week. I didn't get a call or anything when they were ready but I showed up actually a week late and the woman working there was able to find my boots right away for me. The new heel looked like they'd come with the shoe and were perfect! Was kind of amazing honestly, the new heel part even had traction on it which was a nice touch. Payed about $20 for the fix which I thought was reasonable considering I'll now be able to use the boots for much longer. Will definitely come back if I need any other fixes! I would leave 0 stars if I could. This place is a disgrace. They ruined my wife's brand new Ferragamo heals by driving nails through the sole and into the top of the shoe. When confronted, the shoe repair person took no responsibility and told her to leave the store. He was rude and condescending. If he did not know how to do something as SIMPLE as put taps on shoes, he should not have accepted the job. The shoes that she has NEVER worn are ruined. I am going to be one of the few unhappy voices about this shop. I left a sandal for repair and got a firm price for the work to be done. When I picked it up the exact work was done, but at a much higher price. When I pointed this out the woman at the counter reluctantly agreed to honor the price, but in reality she did not. I charged this on my card and they do not give receipts. When I got the email notification I saw the amount. Despite good work I do not want to give my business to someone this dishonest. I used Lee's for shoe repair, the hot asphalt just rips the heel tips off all of my heels. I took him 10 pairs and some had some damage to the heel from getting stuck in a crack or when the heel tip came off and not only did he replace the heel tips but repaired the heels themselves and made them look great! Highly recommend, not cheap (ten dollars per pair) but great work and worth it for shoes you love. read more
