Highly recommended! I am very satisfied with Carlos. It is clear he has a lot of experience and using the traditional state of the art of a traditional cobbler to give a second life to my two pairs of boots . Price is very reasonable. Here are some pics to show. The booties soles were starting to wear out so he redid them and the knee high boots, their soles were pealing off due to overuse (had them for 12+ year) so he took care of them! I wish I took a pic of the before so you can really appreciate the difference. Also he cleaned the upper and made the leather all shiny and healthier. It was a busy time (holidays end of the year) so it took about 3 weeks. He will let you know how long it should take , I suggest call ahead to confirm it's ready.He is the only person in his shop so be patient. It's worth it! I brought a pair of boots in for sole repair, cracks in the leather and cleaning. It took over 3+ months for them to be "completed." The rubber hole was replaced with wood so they're no longer functional for any actual labor or horseback riding they're dancing boots now. One of the pull tabs at the top of the boot was removed and lost. Carlos seems like a lovely person but do NOT bring your shoes here if you care about them. read more

A pair of my Croc wedges broke on the side rivets and it seemed like there was no show repair that had the parts to fix it. I also tried Googling parts, reaching out to the Crocs store but no luck. These were also new shoes and could no longer return them. One day I stoped inside Shoe Magic and Carlos also did not have the parts but recommended a couple options where they may carry it. I ended up going to Joann's Fabric Stores, purchased rivets and returned to Shoe Magic. Sure enough, it worked! Carlos was able to fix my shoe in less than five minutes. I haven't been able to wear these shoes in months and so glad Carlos came to the rescue! read more
