I chose Al's Tinting because they've been in business 22 year and their customer service over the phone was great. Al was so pleasant, patient, and understanding with me and my needs. He at no time try to upsell me. He showed me the various tints and the sun's effect, which I really appreciated. I ended going with his recommendation and glad I did. The workmanship in removing the old tint and replacement was excellent. They treated my 20 + year old car as if it was theirs. The job time was faster than I expected, just four hours. The location is great near Cutter Ford. Lots of eating places in the area and close to the bus line should you want to leave the area and even Pearlridge Shopping Center. The prices are very reasonable, and they give a $50.00 discount if they remove and replace the tint at the same time. I was able to schedule an appointment fast and easy, and the second I walked in, Jeremiah and his team treated me like I was a good friend. Everyone was so professional and friendly, and he took his time to explain to me each option in detail, and the pros and cons of each package. He also helped me choose exactly how dark I wanted my tint to be, making suggestions when I was unsure. I ended up picking their premium option and I couldn't be happier. Before, getting into my car after a long day at work felt like I was getting into a sauna running at full blast, and driving on sunny days made me feel like I was cooking alive in my car (the UV protection is also a godsend--I'm very pale and burn so easily), even with the AC blasting. Now, it's so much cooler getting in, and it also cools down MUCH faster as well, making summer driving way more bearable. The appointment didn't even take long at all. I dropped my car off, went out for brunch nearby, and it was done right as I was finishing up my meal, and I am NOT a slow eater. When I picked up my car, Jeremiah explained the aftercare process to me very simply and concisely, which was very easy to follow, and I was provided an aftercare package! While I will admit it was a little pricer compared to other businesses when I was shopping around (and I DID get the most expensive option, so I'm sure even if you're on a budget, the cheaper options are just as good), with the level of care and effort the team put in, as well as the lifetime warranty that's included, I'd say it was well worth the price. I'm so happy with my tint and would highly recommend Hi Tint to anyone that's looking for great quality and care! The ceramic tint I had installed in my home is really good. It supposedly blocks out 80% of heat and when I stood by my window, it surely felt like it was doing its job. He quoted me $80 for tint removal which I had an illegal tint, which did not pass inspection. He took approximately 2 hrs to remove it. But then I decided since I was there, I better tint the whole car with legal tint. He was going charge me $300 bucks for everything, but then up the price cause I used credit card, to $320, plus tax... came out $335.18...at first I gave him rave reviews. But the next day, I found out my car antenna got ripped apart, mind you, it was storming that day, and I just went home afterwards and parked in my garage. It's a new car, and was never broken to begin with.... I would not recommend him to anyone... sorry Alan.
