I had 5 arborists come and bid the job, and they were very nervous, and the price was pretty high. First Choice didn't bat an eye, and their bid was the lowest by several hundred dollars. At first, I was very hesitant to accept such a low offer; but I used some AI tools to analyze comments and reviews across several sites, and the only negative comment found was that they once removed the "wrong" tree. I decided to give them a chance, and I was VERY pleased. These guys are no joke. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. I will definitely hire them again and will be recommending them to anyone who needs some tree-work done.

After creating a list, I start calling around. Most places were OK on the phone. This place was GREAT. Great customer service: Was clueless on what needed to be done. Talked with Brian and he said he would come to the home, look around and leave an itemized typed up list in the mail of things that needed to be addressed, cost, and a time frame for the completion. He initially called late Wednesday morning, and confirmed he'd be out later that same day. He then calls to let me know that he has sent the list out in the mail. Great communication and great cost! Great employees: Sometimes in services industries the face of the company is pleasant but the crews are much less. Not the case, every person worked efficiently and with a pleasant demeanor. Clearly Brian trust his crews and knows he has quality people working under him. There was no harsh words, or smoking, etc. Completely professional staff. Service: Brian and his crew worked beautiful throughout the day Thursday. Arrive before 9 and working through the rain and cold weather. The sun had set but still they continued working. They were forced to return to complete the job but it was a BEAUTIFUL job. We can finally see the sun!

The crew that came to our house, Josh Joseph and Shawn (sp?), did a phenomenal job trimming the trees. See the pictures attached before and after. We had 11-12 palm trees that needed much trimming. The crew showed up at 9 am... like they said they were going to... ON TIME! They first walked through the yard with us confirming the job (it turns out that we had one additional tree that needed some work). Regardless, they started working right away. They only took a lunch break during the whole day. They worked until the very end around 4:30 pm. We have had a lot of contractors for our home. The good, bad, and ugly (and no-shows). This business is among the top. Price: We called and obtained quotes from several companies in the Jacksonville area. This company's price is about $5-$20 more per tree than the average, which I calculated to about $55-$60 per palm tree. However, the lack of headaches is completely worth it not to mention the time taken off to stay home that day. Also, they honored a coupon that was in the monthly flyer that saved us another $75. So in the end, it was pretty average for the service provided. Clean up: The crew cleaned up the yard nicely and spent some time to make sure all the palm leaves were picked up. Overall: I was satisfied with the services from Above and Beyond Tree folks. Would not hesitate to recommend them to the Yelp community. Great find! Chris and two helpers came out, exactly when they said they would be here, and did an outstanding job on my trees! They were hard working and their cleanup was amazing.
