We needed a solid wall be removed from our front yard. After talking to a few companies we got a quote from Left Coast Hauling - they were not asking for our last arm & leg to do the job unlike some other companies. It turned out to be a harder job than estimated because the wall turned out to be filled with rebar and concrete! They kept their quote intact however, did not complain and carried out the entire job very professionally and cleanly. I ended up tipping them because they truly deserved it. They showed up at 10am and gave us a estimate and started cleaning out my garage. There is no charge for a quote or fee if you decide not to choose them. I approved the quote and they started cleaning out my garage non stop and finished at 12:30pm. The guys at LCH were very professional and made sure they didn't throw anything away that I didn't ok. Unprofessional and dishonest! The person in charge tried to add highly inflated labor, weight, volume, truck, and dump site charges to come to a very inflated estimate trying to fool me. Tried to charge 3 to 4 times the expected market rate including their own on their web site and what the appointment booking person told over phone. Another company did the same job in less than an hour for a much lower amount. read more

I needed to find a hauling company that was going to be dependable as my daughter needed to move quickly. I contacted Nick and he gave me a very reasonable quote. we set the date and time and I even needed to call him to see if we could move up the date. On the last day of my daughters move we found out that there were things that could not go into the dumpster. Thanks to Yelp, I found a great hauler that I will be using time and time again! We had called another hauler who had come and was very rude so this was truly a blessing! The other guy (found him on Yelp) came with his smaller pickup truck and didn't cut down the boxes or fit everything in so he had to come back. If a hassle is what you want, then call that guy. If you want exceptional service with a great can do attitude, then call Nick at Left Coast Hauling. Although I didn't deal with Left Coast Hauling in person on the day of our scheduled haul (boyfriend did), I did do all of the communication before hand. We recently purchased our first home and did a lot of DIY around the house ourselves. Needless to say, all of the junk we tore out were just kept in our garage. We are finally approaching the end of our major DIYs and decided it was time to give the garage back to our babies (cars). I did some research on yelp decided to contact LCH (along with a few other places) late Saturday night and Nick from LCH was the first to get back to me with a rough quote Sunday morning. Yay for being efficient! Although he gave me a quote already, I wasn't sure how to measure exactly how much junk we had so I also sent him photos of our garage. He politely let me know that it looked more than what he had in mind, but there's really no way to judge by looking and that he will give me a definite quote when he sees it. Honest answer and I liked that. We were able to schedule for Monday morning at 9am with an understanding that it shouldn't take too long because my bf and I both needed to get to work. Monday morning comes and since I had left for work already, my boyfriend let me know that they actually arrived around 8:40am. Yay again for being efficient. According to my boyfriend, Nick showed up with a helper and they finally gave him an estimate. Nick was right and we did have way more than he had anticipated and he had actually forgotten to account for a couple of our large appliances in his quote. Price was fair, he had the bigger trucks that I needed and was very professional in every detail that he provided. Clean out of the condo went smoothly. The crew always texted me with their arrival time and always were there on tIme. Over the course of two full days and a partial morning of the third the condo was completely emptied. Nick was prompt and friendly for the estimate appointment and all communications I had with him. I was able to make an appointment to get the work done just 1 week later. A crew of 4 guys were prompt, arriving at the start of my 2 hour appointment window. They were all friendly and courteous. They even joked with me. The went straight to work cutting up and tearing the hot tub apart and removing it from my yard. They worked fast and efficiently.
