Sharon helped me years ago and I still thank her (in my head) every day for teaching me how to be the best 'Pack Leader' to my best friend on four legs... Nola (The Wonder Dog)! Nola rescued me when she arrived at Seatac (from a Texas shelter) back in 2013. It was obvious from the start that my sensitive girl had been through some tough times and I was going to need some help in figuring things out. Sharon was incredible, right from the start! She taught me how to be patient and understand Nola's behavior... and most importantly, how to react and 'check' my own behavior. Sharon taught me so much in such a short period of time. Although Sharon, Nola & I haven't met 'on the regular' in many years, I still call on her when something pops up. I also like Sharon a bunch (as a person) & consider her a good Pal! I have 2 dogs, a rather anxious Schnoxie Fitz and a more relaxed Havanese, Quinn. Both are senior pups. Both love other dogs. Both are still fairly active, but both have medications they take and specific ways of eating. Alicia just rolls with it, no problem! She walks them. They play with her dogs. She also happens to have a Havanese, which is fabulous because they are adorable and... quite stubborn at times. LoL! She gets it. I have boarded my dogs with Alicia 3 times. Every time they come home relaxed, and happy. I don't need to worry. She sends me pics and updates regularly, and at the end of each stay Fitz and Quinn come home with a report on their day to day. It's lovely! I couldn't be happier! Alicia travels quite a piece to come and pick up/drop off my boys, and her fees are reasonable. Thank you, Alicia!

I am very thankful at the ease of making the arrangements and being able to check references, as well as completing an in person meet and greet. Heather is very responsive to all forms of communication. My cats are deathly afraid of people, but Heather was able to send me pictures of them hiding under the bed every day. She made the pick up and drop off of the key super easy and was available to work on a holiday. I appreciate the ability to pay online as well. I also like that she had us sign paperwork for vet treatment as needed ahead of time. We're planning another trip in October and looking forward to seeing if she is successful at getting them to interact with her.

She took the time to understand my dog's needs, her motivations, and how to best work with her. While I was in China for 10 days, Heather and her team were very accommodating and responsive with working with my boyfriend to take care of her. They took her for walks in the middle of the day, and texted my boyfriend a report each day with how it went. They gave her treats (with our permission) and lots of pets after each walk- so I know my dog was living the life of luxury! I was really thankful for Puget Paws, and would recommend them to anyone! Before he joined the pack, Leslie did a few training sessions with him and is always happy to answer my questions. She is very knowledgeable and so great with dogs! You can tell she loves what she is doing and cares a lot about each pack member. (Follow her on Instagram, she posts super creative photos or videos of her pack almost every day.) Our dog is very excitable and we had some leash reactivity issues, which we've been working on for a while. We notice that he is more relaxed and more trainable around other dogs since he started doing the pack walks with Leslie. She is very clear in her communication with our dog and does set boundaries, which is awesome. We are so thankful for her. Highly recommended!

Our puppy is less than 6 months old but Leslie's training methods were quite effective. After only a week our pup is much more well behaved on walks and hardly pulls any more. She is very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and gave us helpful things to continue working on. We would definitely recommend her as a trainer.

She kicked our dog out of boarding for "lunging at" another dog that she brought into the room without a slow introduction, expected us to pick her up immediately when we were on vacation, and refused to provide a refund for the night of care we didn't use. She kept our dog in a non-dog-proofed "she shed" by herself for several hours after the incident and was upset that our dog caused damage to that space. I do not think it is unreasonable to expect that a dog boarding business that cares for multiple dogs has a plan for when dogs don't get along, and that such a business should be able to handle incidents without expecting folks on vacation to drop everything to come get the dog.
